(White) Inmate dies after Harris County jailhouse beating (by two savage blacks)
Ebenezer NahCurtis Anthony MaxwellA Houston man arrested for stealing a guitar died after being beaten by two other inmates in a crowded holding cell at the Harris County jail, according to court documents. The April 4 beating was captured on a cell surveillance camera, but no guards were watching at the time. Jail officials allowed one alleged assailant, Ebenezer Nah, 26, to post bond on a felony drug charge and freed him soon after the attack. Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesman Ryan Sullivan said Nah was allowed to leave the detention facility because he had not yet been identified by investigators as a suspect in the assault on inmate Patrick Joseph Brown. Sheriff's investigators later used the same footage to charge both Nah and another inmate, Curtis Anthony Maxwell, 23, with aggravated assault. Brown, 46, was arrested on a misdemeanor theft charge April 3, but not yet able to post $3,000 bond. He had been housed at the 701 San Jacinto jail only about a day when the assault occurred about 11:48 p.m. on April 4. He died of a brain hemorrhage at a hospital about eight hours after the attack, according to court and county records. - (Black-on-white)

A Mid-Michigan man was murdered outside of a gas station in Florida. It happened on April 8 about 8:20 p.m. at 2010 N. Wheeler St. in Plant City, Florida. Michael Beson, 67, of Standish, was the victim of an attempted armed robbery, according to Plant City police. Beson was pumping gas at the Mobile gas station when someone attempted to rob him, police said. Beson was alive when police arrive to the scene, but died shortly after. Police arrested one of the suspects, 19-year-old Xavier Smith, two days later on April 10. They responded to a different shooting when they located Smith. Smith was in possession of a stolen firearm and had an outstanding warrant for violation of probation at the time of his arrest. He has been charged with first degree murder and robbery. On April 17 police arrested a second suspect. Al'kwaun Ty'relle Nakiss Dixon, 18, was charged with first-degree murder, three counts of armed robbery, carrying a concealed weapon, discharging a firearm in public, and resisting arrest without violence. Standish city manager Jerry Nelson said the news has saddened the community. "He still came up for the summers and was well-known and well-liked." - (Black-on-white)

Orlando Anthony CentenoJohn David MillsThe man who authorities say shot two people Tuesday at Emerald Park off River Road in Eugene and then turned the gun on himself reportedly had a history of involvement in armed disputes near the park. Lane County sheriff’s officials on Wednesday identified Orlando Anthony Centeno, 31, as the person who killed one man and injured another in the shooting. She called them mentors. “They were not bad kids because they skate.” More than 100 people, including Barnett and Mills’ mother, attended a vigil at the park in Mills’ honor Wednesday night. - (Black-on-white)

(Black ex-boyfriend) Arrested In 8-Year-Old Case of (White) Newberry Woman's Dissapearance - Presumed Dead
Andrelo Larashard WitcherHeather Ann MacCrossenKamrie MitchellAbout eight years since a 27-year-old Newberry woman went missing, investigators have charged her former boyfriend with her murder. On Dec. 8, 2008, Heather Ann MacCrossen was reported missing to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office after last being seen in August the same year. She is presumed dead. On Wednesday, law enforcement agents charged MacCrossen’s ex-boyfriend, 39-year-old Andrelo Larashard Witcher, with manslaughter after visiting him at the Walton Correctional Institute in De Funiak Springs, Florida. Witcher, who is currently completing a five-year prison sentence for a 2012 burglary conviction from Suwannee County, had been scheduled to be released in December, but now he will be arraigned May 15. Witcher and MacCrossen were involved in a long-term relationship plagued by violence, abuse and arrests. On July 23, 2007, Witcher threatened MacCrossen with a gun before punching her in the face and broke her eye socket. MacCrossen suffered a broken rib, two black eyes and several bruises throughout her body. Witcher then kidnapped MacCrossen and held her hostage in a Lake City home for about two days before she escaped. The next day, she boarded a Greyhound bus to visit some family in Michigan. She returned to Florida about three weeks later, initially planning to be picked up at a bus stop by her close friend in Lake City. But instead, MacCrossen continued to Gainesville, where she met with Witcher on Aug. 18, 2007 – never to be heard from again. - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Man arrested in 'brutal' 2012 murder (and likely rape) of 84-year-old (White woman) Hazel Dingman
Alvin GuyHazel DingmanA 76-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the 2012 murder of 84-year-old Hazel Dingman. Alvin Guy, of Las Vegas, was arrested and is being charged with murder with special circumstance, rape with a foreign object and penetration with a foreign object, Stockton police said. San Joaquin County District Attorney Tori Verber-Salazar said the arrest was a reminder cold cases like this are often solved. "Whether it's today, or 5 years, 10 or 20 years down the line, justice is served. Nobody has the right to do what this man did," Verber-Salazar said. Dingman's son and daughter attended the news conference to announce the arrest. "We want to thank the Lord God, who has given us this day," said Susan Trinchera, while holding a framed photo of her mother. Dingman was found murdered inside her home on Downing Avenue, a secluded three-acre property. At the time of the murder, investigators found obvious signs of trauma to her body, noting she may have been sexually assaulted. - (Black-on-white)

(Interracial) Pair indicted in February murder of (White) Shreveport businessman
Cameron Lewis, 26, and Amanda WilliamsBryan SavageSHREVEPORT, LA - A Shreveport man and a Bossier City woman have been indicted in connection with a suspected arson case that uncovered a homicide back in late February. Amanda B. Williams, 28, and Cameron D. Lewis, 26, were both initially charged with principal to first-degree murder after the body of Bryan Savage was found in the back of home on Woolworth Rd. on February 22 by firefighters responding to a report of a fire in the garage. Savage, 55, had been shot in the chest. Investigators determined that killer or killers tried to cover their tracks with a fire. At the time of their arrests, police were saying they believed the 2 were involved in the murder, but that the person who "pulled the trigger" was still at large. Two days later, the charges against Williams and Lewis were upgraded to principal to first-degree murder, and police confirmed they were no longer looking for a third suspect. According to an arrest affidavit filed in the case, Williams told police she knew a burglary was going to take place at Savage's house the night he was killed. The document also says Williams and Lewis told police they were nearby the home about the time Savage was slain. Caddo Parish Grand Jury reviewing the evidence in the case decided Wednesday that there is enough evidence in the case for second degree murder against Williams and Lewis that they should go to trial. - (Black-on-white)

Dempsey NibbsJudith NibbsDempsey Nibbs, 69, became enraged after vivacious Meals On Wheels worker Judith Nibbs, 60, taunted him as their relationship fell apart by saying she had been seeing other men. On the evening of April 10 2014, Nibbs attacked the mother of his two children at their flat in Hoxton, east London. He knocked her out with an iron bar before cutting her head off, smashing it up with a mallet and disposing of the pieces in the lavatory. Afterwards, the crane driver wrote a note to his 30-year-old son Kirk and called 999 to say police would find two bodies at the property. A police officer broke down the door when he saw Mrs Nibbs' headless body through the letterbox and bravely grappled a shotgun and knife from Nibbs as he attempted to stab himself in the bathroom. Afterwards, Nibbs, who had been diagnosed with prostate and cancer, and wore a colostomy bag said he killed his wife because he thought she was a "snake" but jurors heard he had shown no signs of mental illness. Prosecutor Crispin Aylett QC told an Old Bailey jury that the couple's relationship soured in the spring of 2014 as Nibbs suspected his wife of having affairs. - (UK) - (Black-on-white)

(Black) Cleveland man charged with aggravated murder, GoFundMe page says (white) fiancée's death "accidental fall"
Clarence Bogan IIIStacey Marie TuckerA Cleveland man who set up two fundraiser pages asking for donations after his fiancée died of an “accidental fall” has been charged with aggravated murder. In an indictment filed in the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas on Friday, Clarence Bogan III was charged with aggravated murder, felonious assault and domestic violence. According to police records Bogan’s fiancée, Stacey Marie Tucker, 39, died in his apartment on West 115th Street early in the morning on Feb.10. Bogan told neighbors his fiancée was intoxicated and “fell four times” causing a fatal head injury. The next day Bogan published at least two fundraising pages asking for money for Tucker’s funeral expenses, saying she died “from a head injury suffered in an accidental fall in the early morning.” Apartment Manager Jay Anthony Smith said that he and others suspected foul play because Bogan was speaking with many of the residents to “make sure they had the story straight.” Smith said the complex had issues with Bogan in the past. Bogan is a registered sex offender after pleading guilty to rape and serving time in 2009. He’s considered a “repeat violent offender” but Smith said he did not notify the apartment owner when he moved in. “My boss got a couple pamphlets in the mail and everybody’s threatened to move out,” Smith explained. “I’ve had three tenants move already out of this build because of him.” A medical examiner determined that Tucker died from “blunt impacts to head, trunk, and extremities with visceral and soft tissue injuries” and ruled the death a homicide. As of late Monday afternoon, Bogan was not in the custody of the Cuyahoga County Jail. - (Black-on-white)

(White female) Paramedic responds to police chase crash, finds that she's been a theft victim (by 3 black teen thieves)
Jaylen Fields and Stephan Harris and Christopher ScrogginsKarin Reickard HIGGINSVILLE, MO - In a wild turn of events, a paramedic who was called to a car accident following a police chase came to realize the initial crime the suspects committed was against her. “We heard there was an accident,” said first responder Karin Reickard of what happened on March 29. Reickard knew just what to do because she’s been a paramedic for 15 years. She drove her ambulance to the scene of the crash at Interstate 70 and H Highway. Inside the car that crashed were four young men, including 19-year-old Jaylen Fields and Stephan Harris and Christopher Scroggins, both 17. “I got in back seat of the car and I assessed him, asked him the common question that we ask - do you know what today was? He was alert and conscious. He did have some bleeding of the face,” Reickard said. In the process, she looked down to the floor board and saw a ring that she often wears. “I picked it up and I started to shake and thought, ‘That's my jewelry,’” the paramedic said. That’s not all. Also in the car she saw her son’s autographed Kansas City Chiefs football and X-Box, an heirloom wedding ring and her husband’s long guns and a revolver, apparently broken in the crash. Once the men were transported to various hospitals Reickard explained to the police her suspicions and after returning to her rural Higginsville, MO, home, she found out she was right. Her front door was open and it was clear the house had been ransacked. “My couch was overturned, my jewelry was gone through,” she said. It's unnerving for Reickard and sad. Her wedding ring has yet to be found. She fears it was thrown from the car after the young men realized police were after them on the highway. Prosecutors said the three teens face various burglary and theft charges. - (Black-on-white)

Chad EasterAlex Lora and Jessica McKeonWORCESTER -- The man authorities claim is responsible for the killing of a couple who planned to testify against him in a home invasion case will remain in jail after a judge found he violated probation. Chad Easter, 30, of Boston, is currently charged in a home invasion from 2013. Last week, prosecutors said Easter is suspected of "executing" Alex Lora and Jessica McKeon last month so they could not testify against him in the home invasion case. Lora and McKeon were shot inside their apartment at 8 Forbes St. on March 10. McKeon was shot six times and found dead in the apartment while Lora was shot twice and died at the hospital. Authorities said Easter, who was out on a $5,000 bail, failed to show up for a random drug test on March 11 while on probation for the 2013 home invasion case. Court officials said he failed to maintain employment, which was also part of his probation. Easter's bail was officially revoked and he was arrested when he showed up to court on March 28 - the day his home invasion trial was supposed to start. - (Black-on-white)

Georgia to execute (black) man who killed (White) woman during burglary
Kenneth FultsWeeping AngelATLANTA - Georgia is preparing to execute a death row inmate who shot a woman to death during a burglary in 1996. Kenneth Fults is scheduled to die at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the state prison in Jackson. The 47-year-old inmate pleaded guilty in 1997 to killing his neighbor, 19-year-old Cathy Bounds, and a jury sentenced him to death. Fults' lawyers have said he had an extremely tough childhood and an intellectual disability that keeps him from acting appropriately. They also pointed out flaws in his sentencing trial, including a juror they said was motivated by racial bias and a trial attorney who slept through part of the proceedings. Fults would be the fourth person executed in Georgia this year. - (Black-on-white)

She is too afraid that the men who shot her in a Minneapolis road rage incident will try to track her down. “All I did was honk my horn and he tried to kill me,” she said. "I don't want anybody else to go through what I went through. “I hope they catch these guys because I can't sleep at night." What we can show you are the bandages and the bullet holes. Kat was shot a total of 4 times. One bullet tore through her stomach and is difficult to look at. VIEW ALL VICTIM PHOTOS
Kat said she was heading to work down busy Hennepin Avenue. She had missed her turn off and honked at the Jeep Grand Cherokee that cut in front of her. Traffic cameras snapped several images of the suspect vehicle, described by some as beige, tan or gold. Kat vividly remembers 3 people inside. "Three black men. One driving,” she said. “I did see a black handgun before he shot me. He had short dreads, light skin, skinny. You could tell he was a little tall." The shooter was sitting in the front passenger seat. Before opening fire, Kat recalls him rolling down his window and demanding her to pull over. "Five seconds later, I heard pop, pop, pop, pop,” she said. “I realized I had blood coming from my shoulder. I didn't realize I got shot in my arm and abdomen." After the shooting, Kat was rushed to the emergency room at HCMC. She spent two nights in the hospital and was sent home with a couple of bullets still lodged in her body. "A skateboard, Oh my God, that’s a deadly weapon," said the victim’s mom. “Think about it. She said her daughter was sore, bruised and scared after the assault. “We're supposed to feel safe taking MARTA," the mother said. A week later MARTA police arrested Laquai Barrett and charged him with aggravated assault and criminal trespass.       Students beat and bullied me for being white
Giovanni Micheli A white student at a predominantly Hispanic and black Long Island high school says he was targeted for punishment over his race — punched, hit with a chair and repeatedly called “cracker” and “white boy” — while administrators did nothing to protect him. Lawyers for Giovanni Micheli, now 23, aim to convince a federal jury that their client was singled out as a “minority” in Brentwood High School and then told by school officials, most of them white, to either “project more self-confidence” in order to stem the beating and berating — or leave. Micheli sued the Brentwood School District in 2010, and the trial opened Monday in Brooklyn federal court. “Giovanni was a minority because he was Caucasian,” attorney Wayne Schaefer said in his opening statement. “This case is about discrimination against a minority student . . . Our claim is that there was deliberate indifference because he was a Caucasian student complaining in a district where Caucasians are a minority.” After his parents complained, administrators eventually removed Micheli from the campus in favor of home tutoring, according to Schaefer. Finally, staffers ordered that he leave campus as a safety precaution. He and his parents want reimbursement for his parochial school tuition. . - (Drudge) - (Black-on-white)

Police: (Black) Woman drained (White) family's bank account of $30,000
black ID thiefWes and Kara StuartATLANTA — Police are searching for a woman they say walked into a local bank posing as someone else and wiped out more than $32,000 of the family's savings. The woman went to the bank armed with a stolen Social Security number, fake ID and credit card. "It's frightening. It makes us angry. And it's scary," said theft victim Kara Stewart. Stewart and her husband, Wes, said that first they thought it was a mistake, when three of their accounts suddenly had zero balances. "Her savings and our two children's savings had been drained completely," said Wes Stuart. The theft happened in February. But police just released photos taken from surveillance video at the bank. They say the woman in the pictures used Kara's name and knew her Social Security number, showed the teller a fake Florida ID and even had an American Express card in Kara's name. "The alarming thing is she knew a lot of personal information," Kara said. Police say the woman withdrew more than $32,000 in cash from three of the family's savings accounts at the bank. "We don't know if she's been casing or stalking us as a family. We've gone through all of the emotions," Kara said. - (Black-on-white)

Kevin and Heather HicksINDIANAPOLIS, Ind -- Heather Hicks is coping with the loss of her husband, Kevin Hicks, 44, just one day after she witnessed an IMPD officer exchange punches with him before shooting and killing him. "I do believe it could have been handled differently on the officer's end," said Hicks. The incident began Tuesday night when Kevin was allegedly assaulting his wife Heather while she was driving. The couple's young child was also a passenger inside the car during the disturbance. "He knows his father has been killed. He saw it," said Hicks. Hicks says she was married to Kevin for over 20 years and they had one child together. Heather called 911 and told dispatchers her husband was assaulting her. She then saw an IMPD squad car at the Marathon gas station on 10th Street and Rural Street, so she pulled into the parking lot. Hicks spoke with FOX59 and made it clear that she wants the focus of this investigation to be on the events that unfolded Tuesday night rather than her husband's cloudy criminal past. According to court records, Hicks had been on work release following a prior domestic battery and a warrant was issued for his arrest when he failed to check in Tuesday night. Witnesses tell police the officer tried not to use deadly force, but Kevin knocked a Taser away. Witnesses also say he tried to get a hold of the officer’s gun in the fight. That’s when the officer fired and killed Kevin, according to IMPD. The six-year IMPD officer was treated for a possible fractured hand, bite marks and  he is being monitored for a concussion.. - (Black-on-white)

(Killer darkie) Jo-Jo White seeks new sentence in Drake Diner slayings of two White managers
Joseph "Jo-Jo" White JrCara McGraneTim BurnettJo-Jo White must be re-sentenced because the U.S. Supreme Court banned mandatory life-without-parole sentences for juveniles in 2012. He was 17 at the time of the Drake Diner slayings. Prosecutors and defense lawyers are preparing to revisit one of the most infamous crimes in Des Moines' history at a new sentencing hearing on track to happen for Joseph "Jo-Jo" White Jr. White, 40, is currently serving a life-without-parole prison sentence for the Nov. 29, 1992, shooting deaths of two young managers working that evening at the Drake Diner. The murders happened in front of at least 40 people inside the restaurant, setting off a tense search for the shooter before White was arrested six days later. White was 17 at the time of the killings. The majority decision written by Justice Elena Kagan found young people often lack maturity and said states should give many juvenile killers a "meaningful opportunity for release" at some point.

A review of records between 1993 and 1997 showed White had repeated problems in Iowa prisons —  ranging from threatening guards, fighting with other inmates, having unauthorized tobacco and gang-related conduct. White was one of six inmates involved in a 1996 attempt to hijack a prison transport van, a move that landed him in federal prison. He is currently serving his sentence at U.S. Penitentiary Big Sandy, a high-security prison in Kentucky, according to the federal Bureau of Prisons. The shooting inside the diner the Sunday after Thanksgiving killed Cara McGrane, 25, and Tim Burnett, 28. Both were shot in the head. The shooter walked into the restaurant wearing a hooded sweatshirt and grabbed less than $500 from the cash register before fleeing. White had come back to Des Moines recently before the shooting after growing up with family members in Seattle. His father, Joseph White Sr., was shot and killed by police in 1977. - (Black-on-white)

What we know about the Bobbie Maples buried-body missing-person murder case - white woman's dead body found - black man charged
Ronald Earl WilliamsBobbie Roselyn MaplesMUSKEGON COUNTY, MI – Information about the death of Bobbie Roselyn Maples, whose body was found in January 2016 more than a year after she went missing, continues to come out drop by drop, more slowly than in many murder cases. One piece became public with the charging of Ronald Earl Williams, 35, a Michigan Department of Corrections prisoner, with open murder in Maples' death. After Williams was charged, the affidavit for the search warrant that led to discovery of Maples' buried body was unsealed. That Jan. 22 affidavit, a sworn statement written by Roosevelt Park Police Officer Robert Sypien, cites Williams' 41-year-old sister, Ronesha Aunu Williams, as the source of the tip that led to Maples' body being unearthed. In his statement to a Muskegon County 60th District Court magistrate, the officer said he had spoken with Ronesha Williams that day. She told the officer that she had visited her brother at a home on Michillinda Road around the time Maples was reported missing. "While at the Michillinda Road address, Ronesha Williams observed a large object rolled up in a comforter, estimated by Ronesha to be at least a queen size comforter," Sypien wrote.
Later, Ronesha Williams said, she spoke with her brother's girlfriend, Tara Lynn Glaser. Glaser allegedly told her that around the time of Maples' disappearance, "Ronald Williams buried an object at 5265 Nestrom Road in the area of a detached pole barn, and that Ronald Williams then poured concrete over the object that had been buried." Bobbie Maples was involved in a "relationship" with Ronald Williams. - (Black-on-white)

Erin Van Schendel, 83, was left badly bruised after detectives said the suspect viciously beat her. “I guess I just got socked, I don’t remember very much,” she said. “When she opened the door, he slammed her down, knocked her in the face and broke her nose,” said her son, Marc Van Schendel. In January, investigators believe he robbed a 76-year-old woman and an 87-year-old man at knifepoint in Ridgewood, Queens. Then on Feb. 11, police said he followed a 71-year-old woman into her home in the area of Prospect Place and 6th Avenue in Brooklyn, tied her up, pulled out a gun and hit her in the face. He then stole $375 and fled, police said. The next attack happened on March 2 when police said he robbed $370 from 91-year-old Elizabeth Gioino at gunpoint. Police said the suspect then approached an 83-year-old woman at gunpoint, showing a box cutter and making away with over $300. The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 40 and 60, 5 foot 10 inches tall weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket. - (Black-on-white)

U.S. Marshals Hunt For (Black Hispanic) Alleged Murderer In Double-Shooting Case
Dominick CruzMark D. Sternin, Jr.BUFFALO, N.Y. – The U.S. Marshals are turning up the heat in the search for western New York fugitive Dominick Cruz, the alleged gunman in a deadly parking lot shooting in Tonawanda, New York, in January. On Jan. 10, Cruz, 39, allegedly shot 25-year-old Mark Sternin and 24-year-old Tyler Sadauskas during an altercation, killing Sternin and critically wounding Sadauskas. Authorities quickly identified Cruz as the suspect, and were able to track him to his place of employment two days later where they planned to arrest him. Unfortunately, their plan fell through when Cruz learned of their arrival and escaped out of a side door. “Dominick Cruz’s blatant disregard for human life and the law have made this case a top priority for us,” said U.S. Marshal Charles Salina of the Western District of New York. “Our deputy U.S. marshals and our federal, state and local law enforcement partners will leave no stone unturned until this dangerous fugitive faces justice.” - (Black-on-white)

Pascagoula shooting victim: 'Why?' - Police searching for a pack of black men
suspectsuspectsuspectsuspectsuspectsuspectAllen Heath WisePASCAGOULA, MS - The man shot outside a Dollar Tree in Pascagoula, believes it was a case of mistaken identity. Allen Heath Wise says he's still in shock over the events of Friday night. "This is like something off a movie, it's just crazy," Wise said. Wise says he was on his way to meet his family at the Dollar tree when the assault occurred. "They pulled up almost hit me. I'm like what, whoa what's going on," Wise said. "Six to 10 men jumped out, and they started assaulting me." Wise says the men beat, then pistol whipped, him outside of the Aaron's furniture store front. "He hit me with the pistol on the side of the face, right here. When he did, I took off running. He fired at me and missed me, then he fired three or four times, and that's when he hit me in my arm. And then I took off," Wise said. Wise says he took off down the alleyway, and then back through a gate linking the back parking lot to the Cambridge Park Apartments; where police and ambulance responded. "I was just thinking about my little girl; staying alive and staying on my feet," Wise noted. All the while, Wise's mother and wife were worried about where he could have been after hearing the gunshots from inside the store. "I had just a hurt, lost empty feeling at the time because I didn't know what was going on," said Wise's mother, Susan Dickerson. Eventually, they found out he was taken to the hospital. Wise and his family say the most unnerving part is that they have no idea who did this, or why. "I think it's a case of mistaken identity. I was like 'Why are y'all doing this,'" explained Wise. Police say the investigation is ongoing, and they hope security footage can give them some answers. - (Black-on-white)

Joshuale Matthews-Vincent CarterLt. Andy HarrisThree people were shot, including a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer, during an incident in the Steele Creek area of southwest Charlotte Saturday night. The man accused of shooting the officer and another victim has been identified as 25-year-old Joshuale Matthews-Vincent Carter. Police say he is currently in critical condition at Carolinas Medical Center. The officer, Lt. Andy Harris, had a superficial wound to the abdomen and has non-life-threatening injuries, said Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Chief Kerr Putney at a 1 a.m. Sunday press conference. Harris was wearing a bullet-resistant vest that slowed the bullet and prevented more serious injuries. “He’s doing fine,” said Putney, who visited the officer at Carolinas Medical Center. “He was hit but it’s non-life-threatening, obviously — a superficial wound to his abdomen. His family has been notified and he’s alert and having conversations.” The suspect, who was accused of shooting an acquaintance and then Harris, was himself shot by police officers who had returned fire. - (Black-on-white)
