• The Serial Illegal-Alien Rapist by Cliff Kincaid  
  Have you noticed how the media go out of their way to avoid using the label "illegal alien." The popular new term is "undocumented worker." Recently, in the Washington, D.C. area, the Washington Post ran a story about an alleged rapist, finally caught by the police, who had been terrorizing women in Montgomery County, Maryland. His latest victim was a 13-year-old girl and the suspect has confessed to the rapes and admits he's a danger to the community. But you had to read to the 8th paragraph to learn that this rapist was here illegally, making him an illegal alien.
  Here's how the Post reported that fact, back in the 8th paragraph: "Authorities said Jorge Rivera-Aleman, a native of El Salvador, (google) was living in the United States illegally

  Shanley had attended a meeting of men involved in sexual relationships with male youngsters
  -- a meeting that gave rise to NAMBLA, the North American Man Boy Love Association.
• Seven members of the North American Man/Boy Love Association, including two Florida men, were arrested
  in Southern California and charged with planning to travel to Mexico to have sex with boys. The seven charged Monday included Gregory Mark Nusca, 43, of Dania Beach, Fla., also known as David R. Busby or Steven West, and Paul Ernest Zipszer, 39, of Deltona, Fla. An eighth man, Jeff Devore, 53, a minister at the Brea Congregational Church was charged with distributing child pornography.
  They requested that the boys be as young as 8 years old.

• Appeals Court Hears Chinese Custody Case
  MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- In a child custody battle with echoes of Elian Gonzalez, an appeals court will consider if a judge's cultural bias against a Chinese couple led him to take away their 6-year-old daughter. An American couple has raised Anna Mae He since she was a month old, and Circuit Court Judge Robert Childers ruled in May that she should stay with them, despite a five-year struggle by her biological parents to regain custody.
  Critics say Childers wrongly considered whether Shaoqiang and Qin Luo He (google) would return to China with their daughter and deprive her of a comfortable life in suburban America. The judge opened the way for the American couple, Jerry and Louise Baker, to adopt Anna Mae.
  The He family's troubles began in 1998 when Shaoqiang He was working toward a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Memphis and was charged with sexually assaulting a female student. (google)

  Maurice Blackwell was returned to the church after receiving psychological counseling. The priest was stripped of his church authority in 1998, after acknowledging having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy in the early 1970s. Blackwell was defrocked by the Vatican in October.

• Ex-Wife of Pedophile Priest Speaks Out
  Mass. -- The ex-wife of convicted pedophile James Porter said the former priest's death Friday brought relief but also renewed feelings of betrayal for the abuse she says he inflicted on three of their own children. Porter was convicted in 1993 of molesting 28 children while a priest in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fall River in the 1960s.
