Three children without a mother after history of domestic violence leads to murder in Wadena
Antonio St. MarieMargaret St. MarieEmilee, Antonio Jr. and MalikWADENA, Minn. --- A history of Domestic Violence has apparently lead to murder in Wadena, Minnesota and left 3 children without a mother. Twenty-seven-year old Margaret St. Marie is dead and her husband, Antonio St. Marie faces a probable cause charge of murder. Formal charges are pending. He remains hospitalized following a chase and crash. It happened here, in Antonio and Margaret St. Marie’s second floor apartment at 310 Bryant Avenue in Wadena. Margaret was shot dead and Antonio fled the scene in his vehicle. He was chased by police, until he crashed west of town and was captured.
But a search of court records shows there was trouble behind the closed doors of the St. Marie’s home. Just last week, Antonio was charged with Felony Domestic Assault. He allegedly accused Margaret of cheating on him and roughed her up. Antonio was already on probation for another Felony Domestic Assault and Terroristic Threats conviction in 2012 Sadly, he was under a court order stemming from last week’s charge to have no contact with his wife. However, police were not called until a gunshot was heard and his wife, Margaret was dead and the couple’s 3 young children were without a mother. Authorities have not released the condition of Antonio St. Marie. But the State Patrol reports the driver of the vehicle St. Marie hit during that crash and crash was 55-year old Jeffrey Reinhart of Park Rapids, Minnesota.     Black man, white woman - what could go wrong? (Murder-suicide)
Raymond HastingsMonica RhineLAFAYETTE, Ind. — Police may never piece together why Raymond Hastings shot a woman three times before turning the 9 mm handgun on himself. An investigation has revealed, however, that Hastings and his victim, Monica Rhine, were in a relationship and had separated only days before the murder-suicide, although it's unclear if the breakup served as motivation for the killing. “(There are) some questions we have that we’re never going to have the answers to,” Lt. Ryan Phillips, a detective in Lafayette Police Department’s criminal investigations unit, said Tuesday. Co-workers at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Crawfordsville, where Rhine was an employee, called police to request a well-being check at her home in the 3200 block of Chaucer Drive, where the couple’s bodies were found Saturday roughly six to eight hours after the shooting, Phillips said. - (Black-on-white)

Meili lost approximately 80 percent of her blood. Her skull was fractured to the point that her one eye had popped out of its socket. On the scale of 3 to 15 that neurologists use to gauge brain functioning, Meili’s was assigned a rating of 4. She spent nearly the next two weeks in a coma, with experts expecting her to die. This crime became a racially explosive issue, for Meili was white and her assailants were not: Of the 30 or so minority youths that had been randomly terrorizing park dwellers, four blacks and one Hispanic confessed to having engaged in the attack on Meili. One of his victims, Angela Coutts, has waived her right to anonymity and has spoken out, calling for Hemed to be expelled from the country.
