Rodney Seager BradleyFloyd Henry Jr.WILMINGTON, NC – A Wilmington man is facing 2nd Degree Murder charges following an investigation from an assault that happened in the Houston Moore Public Housing Community last November. Rodney Seager Bradley, 21, is being charged with killing 86-year-old Floyd Henry. On November 11, 2013 Wilmington Police say Bradley assaulted the elderly man as he was sitting in a car with a family member. Henry was sent to the hospital and later Hospice care, where he died from his injuries weeks later. Bradley is currently serving time in the Forsyth County Detention Center. - (Black-on-white)

Freddie Lee LawrenceHunter MillerGAUTIER -- Police obtained an arrest warrant Thursday for a man accused of trying to help a capital murder suspect avoid arrest in the robbery and fatal shooting of 26-year-old Hunter Miller of Biloxi. Freddie Lee Lawrence, 24, of Gautier, is sought on a charge of accessory after the fact. Police have asked for help to find him. Tipsters are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-877-787-5898. Police hope Lawrence can lead them to the man who shot Hunter in the back Tuesday night while Hunter was in his car at Ladnier Road and University Street. Police believe Hunter was trying to buy drugs and a man was in the car with him but fled. Miller was found wounded after his car hit a fence. He died in an ambulance. - (Black-on-white)

Homicide investigators have released a picture of the man they are looking for in connection with the incident. U.S. Army Sergeant Joseph Anderson was shot and killed in the 6100 block of Ray Street in Marrero after dropping off his three children at his in-laws. Anderson, who survived two tours of duty in the Middle East, was shot in the head and his car was stolen.

The attack happened as they were walking home from an East Atlanta bar. "It's obviously very frustrating for our family, not only to have lost someone so precious to us, but to know those responsible are still on the streets, enjoying their lives, enjoying their family and friends and not paying the price," said Kate Cotrona Krumm, Cotrona's sister.

A jury found Scottye Miller, 31, guilty of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon last month for killing Tricia Patricelli, 33, in the bathroom of her Auburn apartment. Early on Oct. 30, 2012, Miller stabbed Patricelli 30 times with a large knife, then fled her Auburn apartment. Nineteen-year-old Ronald Lee McLeod was sentenced Wednesday in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. He had pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in July. Prosecutors say McLeod was riding in an SUV in October 2012 when he began firing at two men standing outside a home. Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Morrow was shot and killed. - (Black-on-white)

"Our biggest heartbreak is that a human life was almost lost," Michael McNeal said. Kenneth, 16, and Brandon Pamon, 23, are accused of brutally attacking 23-year-old Geoff Vincent as the Seattle University student walked home from a show early Wednesday morning. Police said McNeal and Pamon punched and stabbed Vincent, piercing his heart and lung. "He had ten transfusions and was on death's door," said Ben Vincent, the victim's brother."If he hadn't been attacked where he was (close to the hospital), and cared for as quickly as he was, he would be dead." Geoff is currently still in Harborview Medical Center's Intensive Care Unit but is awake and talking. McNeal's father also gave a face-to-face apology to the Vincent family after court. He said he has no idea why his son might have done such a thing. If the prosecutor moves forward with formal charges, he will have to decide inwhether to charge McNeal as a juvenile or an adult. The attack happened when McNeal was 15. If he'd been accused of the crime after his 16th birthday, he would automatically be in adult court. - (Black-on-white)

Both of her sons were inside the home on South Amherst Highway at the time. Ayers says one of the sons, who is six-years-old, is a child Johnson and Carter had together. Witnesses tell the Sheriff's Office that the couple had a rocky relationship, which included a domestic call in November 2012. The complaint states Webb’s friends started throwing shoes, rocks and even spitting through the door to try and help her get away. Police arrested Webb, but when officers asked for her name, the complaint says she gave her 4-month-old daughter’s and claimed she was 17. Webb was taken to the juvenile detention facility where other kids locked up revealed her real name.

Elvis TorrentesA man charged with participating in a gang rape of a 16-year-old girl outside her Richmond High School homecoming dance pleaded guilty Thursday in connection with the attack in exchange for a six-year prison sentence, a prosecutor said. Elvis Torrentes, 26, entered a plea to sexual penetration of an intoxicated person before Judge Barbara Zuniga of Contra Costa County Superior Court in Martinez. Torrentes will serve six years in prison, said prosecutor Harold Jewett. Four other men have been convicted for their roles in the 2009 attack.

Bernice Schaufele was excited for a big move. The 84-year-old Novi woman was planning on moving out of her condo on West Glen Haven Circle and heading to North Carolina where she'd be close to one of daughters. But Bernice would never make her much anticipated move. One of Bernice's daughters found her dead on the first floor of her home Monday around 2:45 p.m. According to the Oakland County Medical Examiner's office, Bernice Schaufele died from "near strangulation" and a stab wound to the neck. Jones, a parolee, lived with his mother close-by and piqued a police officer's interest after he began asking questions as the officer cordoned off the area around the scene of the crime. He was taken in for questioning and during the execution of search warrants at his home and garage, police found small valuables allegedly stolen from Bernice. Novi police say Jones has convictions for two prior homicides. “This is just a horrific crime by an animal on an 84-year-old lady. He shouldn’t have been on the street,” said Zoltan Lukacs, Schaufele’s son-in-law. - (Black-on-white)

The first robbery happened on the 200 block of Dexter Avenue on January 8th around 11:45 p.m. Police received a call about a residential burglary. They determined the suspect entered the home through a window. Once inside the residence, police say he made sexual contact with a female under the age of 12. He fled the scene, and police say he went to another residence not even an hour later. This time he entered a residence on the 1400 block of Eslava Street. The homeowner spotted the suspect leaving his house through a dog door.

Garland J. CitizenDelaware State Police say a man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself inside a convenience store last month. Investigators say Garland J. Citizen, 60, of Felton, has been charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree indecent exposure. The incident on Dec. 9th around 11:38 a.m. at the Shore Stop on the 12000 block of South DuPont Highway in Felton. Police say a man, later identified as Citizen, purchased coffee and a paper and walked over to a table and sat down. According to police, an employee noticed the man standing up and exposing his genitals. The man then left the store.

Kwame M. BectonGeorgia McKeeSOUTHAVEN, MS --Police are on the hunt for a suspect they say beat an elderly Southaven woman. Investigators have issued warrants for the arrest of 23-year-old Kwame M. Becton of Southaven. On December 31, 2013, Southaven officers were called to a home in the 5700 block of Garden Walk E. regarding an injured person. When they arrived, they noticed the homeowners car was missing and the front door was open. Once inside, they found 86-year-old Georgia McKee with bruises and injuries to her face. McKee told officers she could not remember how she got the injuries or what happened to her car. McKee was treated from her injuries and is recovering with relatives in Oxford. Investigators say Becton attacked McKee, stole her 2003 Chevrolet Impala and drove to Chicago. The car was found in the Chicago area last Friday and has since been returned to the Southaven Police Department. - (Black-on-white)

"When Mr. Worster is walking away, Mr. Penn produced a firearm, fired one shot at the back of Mr. Worster, killing him," said Assistant District Attorney Brett Dillon. "Apparently, the two are known to each other, there's been some long-standing feud between the two," said Worcester Police Sgt. Kerry Hazelhurst. Brandon Mackey is accused of the June 25, 2012, slaying of Wesley Franklin during an armed robbery outside Deb's Pub & Grub on Norwood Avenue. A Chatham County grand jury indicted Mackey in July 2013 on felony murder, malice murder, aggravated assault and several other charges in connection with the killing. Judge Timothy Walmsley rescheduled Mackey's open ended plea hearing for March 24. The court is waiting on a detailed forensic report and the results of a competency test. Common Pleas Judge M. Teresa Sarmina ruled Friday that 50-year-old Edward Bracey had established below-average intellectual functioning as demonstrated by an IQ of 74. The U.S. Supreme Court has barred as unconstitutional execution of anyone deemed by a state to be mentally disabled. Bracey's sentence is now life in prison without possibility of parole in the 1991 murder of officer Daniel Boyle. The ruling prompted strong reaction from law enforcement. Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams held a news conference Tuesday morning attended by Boyle's family. John J. McNesby, president of Lodge 5 of the Fraternal Order of Police, called the decision "an absolute disgrace." - (Black-on-white)

Amber AndrewsAmber Andrews A man will be sentenced March 4 after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of his estranged wife in Mississippi. Authorities say 22-year-old Amber Andrews was shot in February 2013 while she was driving alone on U.S. Highway 84 outside Waynesboro, causing her to wreck. She died at the scene. Authorities arrested 25-year-old Anthony Pace shortly afterward at his mother's house in nearby Gilbertown, Ala. Pace was initially charged with first-degree murder. Pace pleaded guilty Monday in Wayne County Circuit Court to second-degree murder. Pace faces up to 40 years in prison when sentenced. - (Black-on-white)

Michael Clare A former New York minister has pleaded guilty to raping two teenage girls, one of whom belonged to his congregation. Prosecutors say the Rev. Michael Clare was convicted of rape on Wednesday. Under the terms of the plea deal, he will be sentenced to five years in prison and will register as a sex offender. Clare was the pastor of the Harvest Worship Center International in the Bronx. He admitted performing the acts with a 13-year-old girl in 2007 at his home and with a 14-year-old girl later. Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson says in a statement the victims' wishes were considered for the plea deal. Clare is from Jamaica and faces deportation.
   

    Ex-pastor gets 40 years for (homosexual) child molestation
Otis JetterINDIANAPOLIS - An Indianapolis pastor was sentenced Tuesday to 40 years for two counts of child molestation. During a sentencing hearing, Otis Jetter, 70, was given 30 years for one count of A felony child molestation and 10 years for one count of B felony child molestation. Jetter was the pastor of The Pilgrim Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Police say a 29-year-old man admitted that Jetter molested him when he was 12. He came forward with the information after he saw Jetter with another boy at church and worried the boy might be in the same situation. The victim admitted that he was given money in exchange for his secrecy.

    Millcreek Man Charged With Assaulting Boys, Was Their Scout Leader
Timothy McFarlandThe Millcreek man, charged with sexually assaulting two teen boys, was their boy scout leader. 51-year-old Timothy McFarland is facing charges of indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, and corruption of minors. He's facing 2 counts of each for allegedly assaulting two boys, under the age of 13, while he was their assistant scout leader. According to the criminal complaint, the assaults happened between 2011 and 2013, while the boys were at McFarland's Millcreek township home. Police say McFarland would encourage the boys to take off their clothes, encouraged them to look at a pornographic magazine and inappropriate movies or websites. Investigators say he also touched them inappropriately. McFarland is free after posting $1,000 dollars bond.

(L) Maurice Burris; (R) Dontavion White Michael GiddensROCK HILL, S.C. -- Authorities in Rock Hill say two teenaged boys turned themselves in to police in connection with a fatal Friday shooting. Maurice Lamont Burris, 16, is charged with murder, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime and possession of a firearm under the age of 18. Burris' bond was denied. Burris is accused in the first homicide in Rock Hill in 2014 for the death of 25-year-old Michael Giddens. A second person turned themselves in, officials say, 17-year-old Dontavion White. White faces the same charges as Burris. Rock Hill Police say due to the "seriousness of the charges", White's bond will also be denied. Rock Hill Police are now saying investigators are working to identify a possible third suspect in the homicide. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Aaron Cross, suspect in Kroger murder, facing additional charges

Police said Aaron Cross, who was an employee of the same Kroger on Hubbards Lane, manually entered a fraudulent discount code to obtain a discount for purchases of products. Police said Cross, or an unnamed co-defendant, would bring items to the cash register and after scanning the purchases, Cross would enter that code, which significantly reduced the price of items. Police said the actions of Aaron Cross cost Kroger more than $500. He's now facing theft charges. - (Black-on-white)

Deputies were called to the area of Main St. and Old River Rd. in Natchez for a report of an armed robbery with shots fired. The victim called 911, telling operators that two black males in a silver Chevrolet pickup truck had robbed him at gunpoint of over $200 after he helped them with their disabled vehicle. The victim also told police that after the robbery, the men left the area heading south towards Natchez. As they approached the intersections of La. Hwy 494 and La. Hwy 119 in Natchez, La., the driver of the pickup truck allegedly fired three shots at the victim. Douglas Lamond Bell, was charged with 1 count each of attempted first degree murder... Quincy Daniel Moss was charged with 1 count each of principle to attempted first degree murder... The white victim James William Kelly did not have a doctor's prenoscription for the specific pharmaceutical narcotics on his person. As a result, he was also arrested and charged with 1 count of illegal possession of CDS Schedule III Hydrocodone.

Michael Lee Wilson, 38, was convicted in the killing of Richard Yost, 30, who aspired to one day manage the Quiktrip store. Wilson, who was convicted of first-degree murder, was the third person executed for the February 25, 1995, crime; the fourth defendant is serving a life term. Prison spokesman Jerry Massie said Wilson's time of death was 6:06 p.m. Two other men were executed for the crime in 2009 and 2011. Before the crime, the men loitered nearly an hour while waiting for customers to leave. Once they were gone, they struck Yost with an aluminum baseball bat 54 times in 131 seconds. They jostled a safe while removing it, but Wilson posed as Yost when a security company called to check an alarm. And to dampen suspicions among middle-of-the-night customers, Wilson put on Yost's uniform and worked the cash register as Yost lay dying in a pool of blood, beer and milk behind the cooler doors. Billy Don Alverson, 39, was executed in January 2011 and Darwin Brown, 32, was executed in January 2009. Richard J Harjo was sentenced to life because he was only 16 at the time of the murder. - (Black-on-white)


    Man accused of child sex crime in Newport News
Albert JonesNEWPORT NEWS-Police charged a man with aggravated sexual battery of an 11-year-old girl. 60-year-old Albert Jones man was watching the girl and her three siblings while their mother was at work on Saturday, police said. According to police, the mother arrived at the apartment to see him in the act and he left. She called police, who say they located Jones nearby.

    Rape suspect on the loose in Jonesboro
rapistJONESBORO, Ga. -- Clayton County police are looking for a man accused of committing a burglary and rape in Jonesboro. The suspect broke into a house in the 500 block of Sycamore Drive at around 2:40 a.m. Sunday. Police said he sexually assaulted a woman inside the house and then stole a 42-inch television and a Galaxy Metro PCS phone. The victim said the man told her he had a gun, but never displayed one. The suspect left the house in a car with keyless entry, according to the victim.

    Woman Says Masterbating Man Tried to Rape Her on Subway: Cops
Police are searching for a man who allegedly tried to rape a woman on the subway. The woman was riding the northbound 3 train at about 4 p.m. on Thursday when she said she noticed the suspect masturbating, police said. She told police she moved to another car, but he followed her and tried to rape her, police said she told them. The man ran away at the 148th Street station in Harlem, police said Sunday.

    Arrest made in overnight shooting at Tyler apartments
Ke'Avier Jarrod Wilson-HurdTYLER, TX - One person was shot Friday night at Rose Valley Apartment Homes off of N Northwest Loop 323 in Tyler. Tyler police say Armis Barnes, 25, of Tyler was taken to East Texas Medical Center on Friday night with non-life-threatening injuries, where she underwent surgery. Police say she was shot in the face at the apartment complex. Major Crimes Investigators and a CSI team were notified and responded to the scene while patrol officers detained and identified several other individuals found inside the apartment. Following an investigation, an arrest warrant for Ke'Avier Jarrod Wilson-Hurd, 20, was issued and he was taken into custody.

    Arrest made in string of Hanover truck stop armed robberies
Brian M. BraxtonHanover County authorities have arrested a man wanted for a string of four armed robberies in six days at truck stops along Interstate 95 in the county. Brian M. Braxton, 28, of the 15200 block of Concord Road in Caroline County, was arrested Saturday morning and charged with 13 felony counts. Lt. Chris R. Whitley of the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said investigators with the office found Braxton at a motel in Ashland near I-95 and took him into custody without incident.

    Man Says Robber Held Knife To His Throat At Maryland Live! Parking Garage; 2 Arrested
 Demetrious Jamal Manar, Kacy Domico Queen Jr.HANOVER, Md. — Police have arrested two men they believe are behind an armed robbery at the Maryland Live! Casino parking garage. The alleged robbery happened Sunday around 7:45 a.m. The 58-year-old victim told police he was asleep inside his vehicle while it was parked inside the garage. He thought he heard someone tampering with his vehicle, so he stepped out to investigate and noticed he had a flat rear tire. He then saw two men approaching him—one of the men had a knife. The victim hurried to get back inside his vehicle. The armed suspect reached through his window and held the knife to the victim’s throat. The second suspect stood in front of the vehicle. The victim briefly struggled with the suspect and as a result he sustained a minor cut to his hand. The victim eventually handed over his wallet, and both suspects fled the area. It was later determined the victim’s tire had sustained a puncture causing the flat. Through the use of electronic surveillance and the a photo array, police were able to track down the first suspect’s vehicle. Kacy Domico Queen Jr., 22, was arrested at his home around 3 p.m. Sunday. Demetrious Jamal Manar, 21, was arrested later that evening.

Tyrone J. LongmireJeffrey Don CombestCAYCE, SC - Two men were arrested Saturday after police say they robbed a Carolina Payday Loans in Cayce. Tyrone J. Longmire, 29, and Jeffrey Don Combest, 21, were confronted by officers a short distance from the store and one was taken into custody immediately and the other was arrested after a foot pursuit when he was found hiding in a dumpster, said Lt. J. S. Simmons with the Cayce Department of Public Safety. Simmons said two concerned citizens helped capture the fleeing suspect when they realized that he was trying to elude officers. Officers recovered a semi-automatic pistol and money during the ensuing investigation as a result of the robbery.

    Beachwood police arrest man accused in Beachwood Place Mall armed robbery
Robert L. MartinBEACHWOOD, Ohio — A Euclid man is facing first-degree felony charges stemming from an armed robbery outside the Beachwood Place Mall. Police say they arrested Robert L. Martin, 22, who was charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery. Martin robbed a woman at gunpoint about 11 p.m. Dec. 23 outside Saks Fifth Avenue at the upscale mall. Police say they arrested Martin Thursday at a hotel in Willoughby. Investigators say they were able to track Martin after he used the woman's ATM card. They released the man's photo and received several tips, police said. Reports say Martin stole the woman's purse, passport, credit cards, driver's license and house keys.

    Man struck in head with baseball bat over football game
Donald MainorA Nashville man was arrested Sunday evening after he allegedly struck an acquaintance in the head with a baseball bat. Police were called to the Whispering Oaks Apartments in south Nashville and were met by the victim, who was bleeding from behind his left ear. The victim reported he was visiting and drinking beer with Donald Mainor, 59, when they began arguing over football teams. The victim said his team had won and Mainor's team lost, causing him to get upset. Mainor is accused of picking up a baseball bat and striking the victim in the head. The victim said he lost consciousness for an unknown amount of time then ran to his apartment to call police.

    Frisk teen mum at ‘fake tickets’ arraignment
Angel Ortiz A big-mouthed poster boy for the city’s anti-stop-and-frisk movement was suddenly tight-lipped at his arraignment on a grand-larceny rap in Manhattan on Sunday. Angel Ortiz, 19, was charged with grand larceny, felony possession of a forged instrument and fraudulent accosting after peddling phony Broadway and concert tickets to six victims on a half-dozen occasions, authorities said. The alleged fraudster pocketed $3,000 in the scheme, officials said. It was his third bust on charges of selling bogus ducats since spring.

On Tuesday, she showed up at 3:30 p.m. On Wednesday, The Post found her at home in Westbury, LI, all day before emerging at 2:50 p.m. — school dismissal time. Wearing a fur coat, she took her BMW for a spin. She showed up at school Thursday, but not Friday. When Sills, 48, does go to work, it’s rarely before 11 a.m. — and often hours later, say sources familiar with her schedule. “She strolls in whenever she wants,” one said.

    LOS ANGELES — Nadya Suleman, the woman famously known as “Octomom,” was charged Monday with welfare fraud after failing to report nearly $30,000 in earnings, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said. Suleman, whose real name is Natalie Denise Suleman, was formally charged on Jan. 6 with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application for aid. According to the complaint, the 38-year-old filed for public assistance in Lancaster in January 2013. “While applying for public aid, the mother of 14 children allegedly failed to disclose that she was also getting checks for personal appearances and residuals from videos. She allegedly failed to report the extra income she earned between Jan. 1, 2013, and June 30, 2013,” the DA’s office said.

Sparkles Lindsay, 22, followed Kimberly Kilgore, 21, into her gated apartment complex last year and shot her to death while her best friend sat in the passenger seat and watched in horror, police say. Ms Lindsay faces a charge of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. The 22-year-old and her friends reportedly had a heated altercation with Ms Kilgore and friend Shannon Stone around 2am Oct 11 just outside the Kennesaw apartment complex where Ms Kilgore lived. Despite the complex being gated, Ms Lindsay drove into the parking lot, and escalated the incident into a physical altercation. The violent woman then pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at Ms Kilgore, police told multiple local media outlets. Ms Stone helplessly watched her best friend get gunned down. ‘I was in the passenger seat and she was looking right at me when it happened. I was the last sight she saw before her life was taken, and I couldn’t stop it,’ the grieving friend said. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Recent spook attack spooks Campbell residents
black rapistCAMPBELL, Calif. — Campbell police have released a sketch of the man they say attacked a woman in a residential neighborhood Thursday. For the 30-year-old victim, a walk home from the 7-Eleven on Sunnyoaks Avenue turned into a fight for her life. "It's definitely out of the ordinary and causes concern for us," said Campbell Police Sergeant Gary Berg. Police say the woman was on her way home around 12:30 a.m. Thursday when a man grabbed her from behind and began to sexual assault her. "She was able to burn the suspect on the left side of his face with a cigarette that she had," Sgt. Berg said. The victim told police the suspect then pulled out a handgun and threatened her, but she was able to break free and run away. The woman then flagged down a passerby driving by who tried to chase down the suspect. The suspect eventually escaped on foot. Police describe the suspect as an African American man in his mid to late thirties, six feet tall with a heavy build weighing about 250 to 300 pounds.

    Sacramento Deputies Search for Black Connected to Sexual Assaults
Sacramento rapistA possible serial rapist has local authorities worried as he is still walking the streets of Sacramento, attacking women. “What our concern is, any time there is a violent sexual predator out there, we know that every time this person gets away with a crime it empowers them to do more,” Sacramento County Sheriff’s Sergeant Lisa Bowman said. Detectives say the man has raped and violently assaulted three women in less than four months. The most recent happened this past Wednesday. “They are very similar in nature, very similar in location. As far as the suspect denoscription, motive, everything is lining up to lead us to believe it is one person committing this,” Bowman said. They say he’s becoming more violent with each attack. In the first attack, investigators say the woman was stun gunned and raped. In the second, the woman was hit from behind, dragged down an embankment and raped. The third was taken at knife point, kidnapped and raped. Her injuries were the most severe. “He drove her a short distance from Auburn Boulevard, where he actually kidnapped her from the Madison-80 front,” Bowman said. “He sexually assaulted her kicked her out of the vehicle.” Detectives believe the man might be trying to change his appearance. He is described as a black male, 20 to 40 years old. He has a shaved head or short afro-style haircut, clean shaven, has a large build and wears rectangular shaped glasses.

    Man found guilty in 2010 Lincoln Park home invasion, assault
Darrell MooreDavid McAffeA 23-year-old man faces up to 66 years in prison after being convicted Friday of the brutal rape of a woman during a home invasion in Lincoln Park in 2010. A Cook County jury convicted Darrell Moore, 23, of 11 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault and one count of home invasion. He faces up to 66 years in prison when he is sentenced next month. Moore, of the 8000 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue, and three co-defendants entered the victim’s home in the 1100 block of West Dickens Avenue by going through an open window on the porch, a statement from prosecutors said. Moore then sexually assault the woman and threatened to kill her if she did not obey him. He walked the 28-year-old woman around her apartment several times, demanding she give him money and jewelry, and after each such threat, would return to the bedroom and sexually assault her again, prosecutors said. The other three people involved in the crime pleaded guilty to home invasion. David McAfee, 19, was sentenced to 20 years in prison; Justin Hannah, 20, was sentenced to 14 years; and Kristopher Fox, 25, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, according to court records.

Michael Bryant A Tennessee pastor accused of sexually molesting his 16-year-old stepdaughter for years will plead guilty and his church will shut down. Michael Bryant, 48, who has pastored the Hour of Restoration Church of God in Christ in Memphis for the past three years, was accused of taking advantage of his wife's work and sleep schedule to enter her daughter's bedroom, expose his genitals and fondle her. After Bryant's stepdaughter informed her mother that the pastor had been inappropriately touching her, instead of reporting the incident to police, her parents had prayed that God would drive the thoughts out of Bryant's mind. But after he touched her earlier this month, the teen reportedly informed her aunt, who told authorities.

Kianga Modupe told Indianapolis police that she had invited the man to her motel room near 38th Street and Shadeland Avenue to have a good time. But, after several hours, Modupe said things got out of control. "It was too much to drink … it was too much to drink and it just went too far," Modupe said. Modupe said she had also been drinking earlier in the day prior to the assault. "He grabbed me, took my clothes off … he grabbed me by my throat. I was trying to leave and he grabbed me and threw me back in the room," Modupe said. Modupe said the man then took her cell phone battery, so she went to the motel lobby to call police. "I had to run to the office naked, barefooted," Modupe said.

    Oakland Police seeking armed-robbery suspect wearing 'grill'
a black man in his 30sOAKLAND, Calif. — Police are looking for a man involved in an armed robbery in Oakland earlier this week. The robbery occurred Tuesday in the 700 block of Walker Avenue near the Grand Lake Theater, police said. The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has short hair and a silver "grill" in his mouth.

    Charlotte PD uses monitoring device to find robbery suspects
Jontavious Polk, Deontae Carrothers and Jawayne LynchCHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Three men accused of robbing a man at knifepoint have been arrested. Police responded to the 5100 block of South Tryon Street on Wednesday. The victim told police three men stole his wallet and other personal belongings before taking off on foot. As police searched, a neighbor approached them to say the suspects ran by his house and into a home in 5600 block of Coulee Place. During the investigation, police noticed Jontavious Polk’s electronic monitoring device pinged at the robbery scene. The 22 year old is required to wear the device because of a previous robbery case. Officers used the monitor and tracked down Polk to the house on Coulee Place. Police found all three suspects inside of the residence. They arrested Polk, 21-year-old Deontae Carrothers and 28-year-old Jawayne Lynch. They are charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery.

    Footprints in snow lead to arrest

Washington, Jr.FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Footprints in the snow led to the arrest of one of the men who allegedly pulled a gun on a Vito's Pizza and Subs deliveryman, robbed him, and then took off in his car last week. 19-year-old Larry D. Washington, Jr., and two other suspects robbed the victim at gunpoint shortly after 4 a.m. on January 3. The deliveryman told police he went to deliver food to a home in the 5300-block of Winter Street when one of the men pointed a gun at him and stole his wallet, along with the food. The three suspects then ran to the victim's car and drove off in it. Police found the stolen car parked on the side of the road in the 4700-block of Reed Street. Police saw two sets of footprints in the snow that led from the passenger side of the car to a home. Officers followed the tracks to the home and the homeowner then allowed them to search her house.

    Pembroke convenience store robber behind bars
George Mincey, III PEMBROKE, GA - Pembroke Police has arrested a man in an armed robbery at a convenient store. George Mincey, III was arrested on Jan. 6. Police say he robbed a quick stop on North Main Street sunday night. Investigators say Mincey pointed a hand gun at the store clerk's head and forced him to the ground and ran away with cash. Mincey is charged with armed robbery and possession of a fire arm by a convicted felon, among other charges.

    Waco police: Man stabs woman for bringing home pizza instead of chicken sandwich
WACO, TX -- A Central Texas man has been accused of stabbing his girlfriend after she brought home pizza instead of a chicken sandwich he wanted for lunch. McLennan County jail records show Michael Corsey of Waco was being held Saturday on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Online jail records do not list bond or an attorney for Corsey, who was arrested Friday. Waco police say Corsey allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman because he had asked for a chicken sandwich, but she brought home pizza. Police say the victim was also choked and struck in the face. Investigators say the woman, whose name wasn't immediately released, was treated for minor injuries.

    Michael Darren CoresyWACO - A man is facing charges after he apparently strangled his girlfriend before threatening her with a knife. Police say an argument between 32-year-old Michael Darren Coresy and his girlfriend went off and on for days. At one point, the woman said Coresy grabbed her by her neck and threw her back into the house as she tried to leave. She then says he held a knife to her throat as he strangled her until she thought she was going to pass out. The woman says she managed to escaped from Corsey when he finally let her go. He was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

    Ex-Pastor Sentenced for Homo-Sexual Assault of 12-year-old boy
Jeffrey MackintoshThe former youth pastor of a central New Jersey church has received a 10-year state prison sentence for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy more than a decade ago. Middlesex County prosecutors say 48-year-old Jeffrey Mackintosh of Phillipsburg also must register as a sex offender and will be on community supervision for life. Mackintosh had pleaded guilty last July to aggravated sexual assault. He was sentenced on Friday.
