    Trial begins for the black man accused of killing two White women in Sodus
Dante TaylorStacey MoultonTerri MoultonOpening statements were held on Tuesday in the trial of a man accused of stabbing a mother and daughter to death. Prosecutors say Terri and Stacey Moulton were checking on a cat at a friend's home last year when they interrupted a burglary. Investigators say Dante Taylor stabbed the two to death inside the Sodus home. At the trial, the husband and father of Terri and Stacey Moulton testified. He went to the farmhouse to find the women because they had been gone for so long. He described at trial what he saw when he went into the house looking for his family. When he came out of the house, he told a witness, "They’re dead." The witness testified Moulton yelled "call 911." State police investigators say they saw the Moulton women "lying on the floor in the dining room" and they "we're obviously dead." Police say witnesses say Taylor's car was parked in front of a garage at the house. Taylor is also charged with arson accused of trying to burn the house down to cover up the murders. Based on a crime scene photo, it appears that whoever killed the Moultons tried to start a fire directly next to their bodies. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Police release sketch of suspect accused of University of Cincinnati robbery, rape
robbery and rape suspectvictimCLIFTON HEIGHTS, OH - Cincinnati Police are requesting the public's help in identifying a robbery and rape suspect from a Sept. 5 incident near University of Cincinnati. The robbery happened at about 3:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Warner Street. Police said a man approached a UC student on the street and ordered him to take the suspect inside their house. Once inside, police said the man ordered the first victim and his two roommates to put their belongs in bags. The suspect then made all three victims leave the house and walk elsewhere before fleeing. Police said the man got away with a 32-inch television, laptop, Xbox, a Wii and money. He is wanted for questioning in charges involving aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, rape and kidnapping. Police have released a sketch of the suspect, who was described as a black male, between 30 to 39 years of age. He is approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and skinny with buzz cut hair. Police said he wearing a dark shirt and blue jeans. The suspect was armed with a handgun, police said. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Black ex-marine shoots and kills his white girlfriend before turning the gun on himself after 12-hour standoff with SWAT team
Antoine Davis,Jessica ArrendalePolice have identified a man and woman who were found dead in a Smyrna home over the weekend. Police received a call early Sunday morning about a person who was armed with a gun at the home. A SWAT standoff lasted for roughly 14 hours. According to police, Antoine Davis, 30, and his girlfriend Jessica Arrendale, 33, were found with gunshot wounds to their heads Sunday afternoon. Police say Davis' wound was self-inflicted. Their 5-month-old baby was found inside the home and was taken to a nearby hospital. The baby was treated for hypothermia and is currently in DFACS custody. Investigators believe Davis shot Arrendale in the head, then shot himself. His ex-wife Tamaira Chesley, who has two children with Davis, says he struggled with severe depression. - (Black-on-white)

African American kidnapperRIDLEY PARK, Pa., — Ridley Park police are investigating an attempted abduction Tuesday morning. A 7th grader at Ridley Park Middle School says a man driving a white van snatched her off the street while she was walking to school alone. “It is frightening. You can’t trust anyone these days,” said the 12-year-old’s uncle, Kevin Ryan. “She said that an African American male in a white van drove up to her and physically took her and put her in the back of the van.”

Tayon MooreThe Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office says a Philadelphia Police officer has been charged with theft and leaving the scene of an accident following an incident earlier this summer. On June 24, Officer Tayon Moore, 31, was driving his mother’s Chrysler 300 while off-duty when he reportedly rear-ended a Drexel student at 34th and Chestnut Street. Officer Moore eventually pulled over at 30th and Chestnut, and when the driver of the other vehicle began to call 911, Moore reportedly grabbed the driver’s phone and threw it over the side of the bridge. Moore then allegedly left the scene with exchanging any information.

Ben MarencoTimothy PateA Metairie man is accused of raping a woman inside an Airline Drive home over the weekend and then putting up a fight when Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies arrived to investigate. Ben Marenco, 21, was arrested Sunday (Sept. 14) on forcible rape and other charges. Around 8 a.m., deputies met with a woman who said she had just been sexually assaulted at a house at 3808 Airline Drive and that her assailant was still at the home, an arrest report says. When deputies arrived at the home, they found the door ajar and, after knocking several times, entered the residence, where they met Marenco and another man, Timothy Pate, who became "combative" and resisted arrest.

    Selma man accused of having sexual contact with 2 teenage girls
Christopher WilsonSELMA, Alabama -- A Selma man is charged with having sexual contact with two 13-year-old girls. Christopher Wilson, 39, was arrested Sept. 16 and charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy, first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse, according to Selma police. The mother of one of the victim's and Wilson's girlfriend reported to police that Wilson had sexual contact with the two girls, who are cousins.

    Cops: Man chokes wife for eating leftover fried chicken
Desmond BrownleeA Florida man has been arrested after he choked his wife for consuming too much leftover fried chicken, according to local media. WKMG-TV reported that Desmond Brownlee, 45, of Deltona, a city north of Orlando, became angry after he found that his wife, Shey Alamo, had eaten the leftovers. He then began to cook more chicken and became more agitated after she criticized his culinary technique. The argument then escalated to the point where Brownlee pushed his wife onto a bed, struck her multiple times in the face and choked her.

    Man arrested in robbery, severe beating of woman
Star Joseph, also known as Michael PowdrellAlbuquerque police arrested a man accused of robbing and severely beating a woman earlier this week. Police said Star Joseph, also known as Michael Powdrell, attacked the woman while trying to steal her purse. The woman had several teeth knocked out, a fractured wrist and a two-inch cut across her forehead. Joseph took off in a stolen vehicle, but officers later caught him. Police say the victim is still healing.

    Unconscious Man Robbed At SEPTA Station
black thiefPHILADELPHIA – SEPTA police are reaching out to the public for help finding the suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of an unconscious man. The robbery reportedly happened at the Broad Street Line Erie Station around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, when police say the suspect stole a cell phone from the victim’s pocket. The suspect is described as between 30-35 years old and was wearing a gray “Cape May” sweatshirt.

 

    High-speed chase ends in flames after thieves rob a 7-Eleven: cops
two of the thievesThree men who robbed a 7-Eleven led cops on a car chase in Queens that ended with the thieves crashing into a deli, cops said. Police tried to pull the car over, but the crooks got on the Long Island Expressway, where they tried to toss the stolen wallet, cops said. They then veered off the highway at the Utopia Parkway exit and crashed the car into a deli at Pigeon Meadow Road and 164th Street, where the vehicle burst into flames, cops said.

    A man selling toy helicopters near Columbus Circle got into a bloody box-cutter fight with another vendor Monday when he crashed his aerial gadget into the other man’s girlfriend, cops said. Marcus Pagan, 38, was slashed in the neck by Carlos Perez, 48, at about 6:45 p.m. after Pagan flew the plaything into the woman’s head, according to police. Pagan took out his own blade and slashed Perez in the forehead.

At least one Minnesota man has died, and some families fear their daughters have also gone overseas to take up the cause. Several Somalis have been subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury - some as recently as last week. Minnesota native Douglas McAuthur McCain died in Syria fighting for ISIS, the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has taken over parts of Iraq and Syria.
   

    New York Man Charged With Trying to Support ISIS
Mufid A. ElfgeehA Rochester man was indicted Tuesday on charges that he tried to provide material support to the Islamic State by helping three men two of whom are FBI informants who said they would travel to Syria to “engage in violent jihad” alongside the group’s militants, according to the Justice Department. The man, Mufid A. Elfgeeh, 30, was also charged with the attempted murder of current and former members of the United States military, including some who had returned from Iraq, and possession of firearms equipped with silencers, the Justice Department said.

    Recruiters for Islamic extremist groups are increasingly targeting French women and girls, with nearly 100 either in Syria or on their way and 175 being monitored at home, security officials say. The Chinese are interested in acquiring everything from American companies to commercial and residential real estate.     Black Ex-Con Found Guilty In Murder Of White Southwest Suburban Teen
John L. Wilson JrKelli O'LaughlinA jury on Monday convicted a parolee in the murder of a southwest suburban teenager in late 2011. Fourteen-year-old Kelli O’Laughlin was killed in her Indian Head Park home when police say she interrupted John Wilson Jr. burglarizing the residence. The teen, a freshman at Lyons Township High School, was stabbed to death and several items were taken from the home, including her cell phone. “This is a horrific crime,” Cook County State’s Attorney Anita Alvarez told reporters after the verdict. “And clearly, anyone who is a parent — who’s a mother, who’s a father, who has teenagers — this crime hits home. It truly does.” The trial lasted one week, but jurors deliberated for only about two hours, after closing arguments on Monday. Besides first-degree murder, Wilson was convicted of armed robbery, residential burglary and home invasion. Because the teen was white and Wilson is black, the defense sprinkled its closing arguments with accusations. Wilson is accused of taunting Kelli’s mother the day after the murder by texting her from her daughter’s phone. - (Black-on-white)
   

    White man killed over gaming system advertised on Craigslist - black and his 16-yr-old killer girlfriend arrested
Nathaniel VivianDaniel John ZeitzTwo people are in custody for the fatal shooting of a man during what Sandy Springs police said was the attempted theft of a video gaming system the victim was trying to sell on Craigslist. The alleged shooter in the Friday night incident is a 16-year-old girl whose 16-month-old baby was only feet away at the time of the robbery and shooting. Daniel John Zeitz, 28, of Roswell, had listed a PS4 gaming system for sale on Craigslist, and about 9:30 p.m., went to the parking lot of an apartment on Treelodge Parkway to meet a potential buyer, Momon said. There, he met 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian and a 16-year-old girl, whose name has not been released. Momon said the pair tried to rob Zeitz of the PS4, and Vivian, who was in the driver’s seat of a car, struggled with Zeitz, who was standing outside the car, for the gaming system. During the struggle, the girl fired a shot from a .25 caliber handgun, and the bullet passed through Vivian’s hand and struck Zeitz in the side of his chest, killing him. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Police identify 2nd black suspect in beating death of 60-year-old White man

Police say the victim, Richard Pepper, was walking with a friend in the area of Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. when they were approached by a group of men and assaulted. The victim's friend was able to escape but police say Pepper sustained serious head injuries and later died in hospital. Investigators previously released the name of the first suspect, 22-year-old Jamal Abdinasir Hassan, and now say a second suspect has been identified. Gonffa Krow, 20, of Toronto, is wanted for second-degree murder, police say. The suspect is described as black, five-foot-seven and weighs 143 pounds. - (Canada) - (Black-on-white)
   

    Black suspect arrested in Stamford theft of birthday money from (White) man with autism
Steven St. JacquesPatrickSTAMFORD -- Police in Stamford have arrested a man suspected of stealing the birthday money from a man with autism. The suspect, 27-year old Steven St. Jacques of Stamford, is charged with second degree larceny. Police say he has prior arrests for an assault and a robbery. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. last Tuesday in Veterans' Park and was caught on surveillance video. The victim, who was on his way to the Stamford Town Center to purchase video games, was carrying $100 he received as a birthday gift from his family, police said. On surveillance video, the suspect is seen walking up and speaking to the victim in the breezeway leading from Veterans Park and into the Stamford Town Center.     Slidell man gets 40 years for forcible rape of child
Caleb HughesA Slidell man was sentenced to 40 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of forcible rape, sexual battery and failure to register as a sex offender, according to District Attorney Walter Reed's office. Caleb Hughes, 28, was sentenced as a career criminal because of a previous conviction in Massachusetts, a spokesman for Reed said. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Hughes in January of 2014, court records show. Hughes was accused of sexually abusing a minor, and "threatened physical harm if the victim didn't continue to comply with the sexual abuse," according to Reed's spokesman, Rick Wood.

Kyron Mohansingh didn't discriminate when it came to sexually assaulting women, prosecutors allege. And now, the Stapleton resident will spend some time behind bars. Mohansingh, 23, has admitted to first-degree rape stemming from an incident on Nov. 20 of last year in which he attacked a woman in his home community, said prosecutors.

But prosecutors hoping to present an airtight case had a concern: The suspect, Dwayne McNair, has an identical twin, meaning the DNA testing pointed not to one person, but two.

Jacksonville police said that at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, 42-year-old Joseph Jordan attended a yoga class in the Hendricks Avenue area and began masturbating during the class until he was confronted by several patrons and the instructor.

    Man pleads guilty to 1990 rape in New Orleans laundromat
Darrell JohnsonA 50-year-old man was sentenced to 25 years in prison Monday (Sept. 15) for a rape committed nearly 25 years ago, Orleans Parish prosecutors said. Darrell Johnson pleaded guilty to one count of forcible rape in the October 1990 rape of a woman waiting for a bus near the intersection of North Prieur Street and Franklin Avenue, according to Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro's office. Johnson dragged the woman into an empty laundromat, prosecutors said, where he beat and raped her.

    Truck driver charged with 2008 Kalamazoo rape
Calvin Ray KellyKALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Michigan Attorney General Monday announced criminal charges against a Tennessee truck driver for repeatedly raping a woman at knife-point in April 2008. Calvin Ray Kelly, 57, was arrested Sept. 9 in Shelby County in Tennessee and is charged with one count of kidnapping, three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct, and one count of attempted first degree criminal sexual conduct. Kelly waived extradition and will be brought back to Michigan for trial; he faces life in prison if convicted.

    Dallas: Police release sketch of Southern Methodist University sex assault suspect

Detectives said the man attacked a woman who was jogging near campus in the 6700 block of Willard Drive on September 7 around 11:15 p.m. The suspect, described as a black male in his early 20s, was wearing a white California Angels shirt, blue shorts and white high-top shoes at the time of the attack. He is about six feet tall with close-cut black hair. The victim said he had a tattoo of a crown on his neck.

Lisa Ann Coleman, 38, was convicted in 2006 in the death of Davontae Williams, one of three children of Marcella Williams. Davontae’s body was found July 26, 2004. He had been beaten and bound, weighed 35 pounds and his body bore more than 250 scars, according to evidence presented at trial. Initially, both Coleman and Williams were charged with capital murder.     Serial stabber gets 25 years to life in girlfriend's 2012 slaying in Mount Vernon
Lucius CrawfordA serial stabber convicted of killing one woman and charged with killing two others will likely spend the rest of his life in prison. Lucius Crawford, 61, was sentenced Tuesday to the maximum possible – 25 years to life – for the 2012 slaying of his girlfriend, Tonya Simmons, 41, in his Mount Vernon apartment. He had been convicted in May of second-degree murder in that case. He also faces a possible retrial for the death of Laronda Shealy in Yonkers in 1993 and is charged in the Bronx in the death of another Yonkers prostitute that same year. Authorities say Crawford confessed to all three slayings during interviews with police after his December 2012 arrest. Crawford has been attacking women for decades. He served 17 years in South Carolina prisons for two stabbing sprees in the Charleston area in which he targeted women at random.v

    Black Man Wanted For Attacking Women In Freehold Area Strikes Again
black robberFREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A suspect wanted in connection with a string of armed robberies in which the female victims were maced in their eyes has struck again in New Jersey, police said. The suspect assaulted a fifth woman last week near the American Hotel in Freehold, police said. In each incident, investigators said the suspect strikes up a conversation with his victims then sprays them with mace before robbing them. The suspect in that incident was described by the victim as a black male in his mid-30s, approximately 6 feet tall. He was also described as bald with chubby cheeks and a large build, wearing a light-colored polo.

Rondell Baker, 32, allegedly unloaded on the 37-year-old victim at 1:10 a.m., August 2, during a bout of ‘artistic differences’ over the amateur rap video they were filming outside the deli on Webster Avenue. After arguing over the video they were shooting to impress rapper French Montana, Baker allegedly blasted his partner seven times, all while balancing a drink in his off-hand.

    UPDATE: Black man arrested in connection to St. Albans murder of White man
Michael BenbowMicah BurdetteActing on tips from law enforcement and the public, one man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Micah Burdette on Tuesday September 9th. An arrest warrant was served on 24-year-old Michael Benbow, of Huntersville, NC, Friday, September 12. Police found a phone at the Saint Albans City Park, believed to have been in the possession of Burdette, who according to an autopsy, was shot in the head, and a bullet was recovered from his body. The phone contained text messages from someone called "Smoov", which is a name Benbow is known for. The messages indicated that he was planning to meet Burdette on the evening of the murder. When police reviewed mobile phone records of the number that sent the messages to Burdette's phone, they found it was in the area of the Saint Albans City Park around the time of the murder. The complaint says that the St. Albans Police received several tips about Burdette's murder, including one from an anonymous source saying that Benbow was involved. When police interviewed a confidential informant about this case, the informant told police he was familiar with Benbow and knew him to use the name "Smoov". The informant also told police he made contact with Benbow on Thursday, September 11, in which Benbow told him he shot Burdette. Based on this information, Benbow was arrested and charged with first degree murder. He is being held without bond at the South Central Regional Jail. - (Black-on-white)

berserk black bruteWhite female victim of berserk black bruteA violent, emotionally disturbed person randomly punched straphangers in the subway station under Bloomingdale’s in Manhattan on Sunday, police said. The unidentified man had to be pepper-sprayed by cops after he slugged at least five people — including several women — on the uptown No. 6 platform around 2 p.m., sources said. Officers then chased the brute down the platform after he tried to make a run for it, but they eventually nabbed him. One person was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment, and a man was treated by EMTs at the scene, authorities and witnesses said. Several others who had been attacked refused medical attention. One crying young woman appeared to have suffered a split lip and was seen being consoled by her female friends. The female Transit Bureau officer who maced the suspect was treated at the station for pepper spray in her eye, witnesses said. “Yeah, I maced the guy,’’ she told a reporter after the frightening incident.     Black Chicago man charged in sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy
Austin AllenA Chicago man was ordered held on $500,000 bail Sunday after authorities say he sexually assaulted two children under the age of 6. Austin Allen, 24, was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault in a Sept. 10 incident involving an acquaintance’s two children, a 4-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, according to court documents. Assistant State’s Attorney Elizabeth Novy said that when the victims’ mother returned home that day, her son told her that he had witnessed Allen cut off his sister’s panties and assaulted her. According to court documents, the boy was also sexually assaulted by Allen. Rape tests were conducted on both victims, according to court documents.

    Saginaw black man charged in April rape to undergo independent psychiatric exam
Welton D. PulliamSAGINAW, MI — A Saginaw man accused of raping a woman whom he knew when they were children will undergo a second psychiatric exam. Saginaw County Circuit Judge James T. Borchard on Thursday, Sept. 11, approved a request from Welton D. Pulliam's attorney to have Pulliam undergo an independent exam. Pulliam's attorney, Bruce Petrick, made the request after Borchard heard testimony from medical personnel regarding their report that the 24-year-old Pulliam is mentally competent and can be held criminally responsible.

    2 Inmates Escape from Youth Detention Center
Hakeem Walls and Jermaine JacksonTwo inmates who escaped a youth detention center in South Jersey are still at large, according to officials. Police say 20-year-old Jermaine Jackson and 18-year-old Hakeem Walls, both of Bridgeton, NJ, escaped the Cumberland County Juvenile Detention Center in Hopewell Township Saturday night.

Shiquan Bellamy of Jersey City received three concurrent 25-year terms during a recent court hearing. He had pleaded guilty earlier this year to aggravated manslaughter charges in the shooting deaths of three city residents
   

    Walmart employees attacked during theft, black suspects sought
Walmart thiefSouthwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying two men who they say stole several hundreds of dollars in water filters, and went on the attack when loss prevention officers tried to stop them. One employee was thrown to the ground and struck in the arm. During the altercation, another employee retrieved the cart filled with stolen filters, which deputies say prompted the suspects to hurl chairs and large landscaping bricks at the employee, causing minor injuries. The two men then quickly fled the scene in a black two door vehicle, deputies say. One of the men is described as having long dreadlocks...

Dr. Ana Maria Gonzalez-Angulo is accused of poisoning her lover, fellow cancer researcher Dr. George Blumenschein. The breast cancer oncologist laced Blumenschein's coffee with ethylene glycol, a deadly chemical used in antifreeze, last year, say prosecutors. When Blumenshein told Gonzalez-Angulo he thought his coffee tasted "sweet," she allegedly told him it just was Splenda, according to court documents.

    Police charge black man in connection with stabbing attack on White woman
Elswart Richard BoddenAnnika Horn LANCASTER, Pa. —Lancaster police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a stabbing on Sunday in the city. Elswart Richard Bodden, 23, of Columbia, is now charged with attempted homicide. According to court documents, fingerprints on a pack of cigarettes found at the scene helped them identify Bodden. Police say Bodden broke into the home on the 400 block of West Orange Street just after midnight, stabbed a 29-year-old Annika Horn in the neck, arms and other parts of her body. He then stole cash and a gun. On Sunday night, police identified Bodden as the driver of a black Honda Civic that fled the scene. He was arrested Sunday night and charged with fleeing and eluding police. Investigators say Bodden took off and hit an unmarked police car as he left the scene. Police chased him down Columbia Avenue, but called off the pursuit near Stone Mill Plaza because of safety concerns. Amir was arraigned Friday afternoon. Richards, 27, was the brother of a Luzerne County assistant district attorney, Justin Richards. Police captured Edwards Thursday evening following a day-long investigation. A 17-year-old boy who lives at the Cleveland Street home told police that Edwards, who is a friend of his sister’s, was at their home around 4:30 a.m. Thursday when he began to argue with his sister and push her. Richards, who had been staying at their home, woke up from the noise and told Edwards to leave. Edwards left the house but said he would return. About one hour later, Edwards returned and the argument resumed, police say. Police arrested Michael Taquarius Rancher, 18, and charged him with murder. Rancher went to the apartments where the victim was visiting. The victim and Rancher exchanged words, which led to a fight. The recent arrests have the victim and his family breathing a sigh of relief. On Friday, officers from the North Ridgeville Police Department, along with the U.S. Marshal's Northeast Ohio Violent Fugitive Taskforce, arrested three males in connection with the felonious assault and robbery of a 16-year-old boy on Aug. 9. The investigation revealed that this was a random act of violence and the victim had no connection to any of the suspects involved. While walking home from the city's Corn Festival, the teen was approached by a group of males who asked for his phone memory card. They ended up punching and kicking him. The suspects then took off with his money, clothes and shoes. Jon Vincenzo's son stopped at a nearby gas station bloody, bruised and half-naked, but he was told to leave. "It is documented. People yelled at him, told him to put some clothes on, but there were some Good Samaritans that actually were coming out of the gas station and realized he needed help," said Vincenzo. Moss pleaded guilty Monday to a first-degree felony charge of burglary of habitation. He admitted to breaking into the home of Rachel Poole and stabbing her several times while she was nine months pregnant because he didn’t want to pay back money he owed her. Authorities say the 15-year-old girl and another teen stole Margaret Smith's car, shoved her in the trunk and kept her there without food or water for two days. Texas high school chemistry teacher arrested with date rape drug ‘recipes’ in her backpack
Haivan BuiTexas high school chemistry teacher was taken into custody Friday afternoon before she taught her last class of the day, following a drug raid at her apartment. Haivan Bui, who teaches chemistry at both Oak Ridge High and Lone Star College in Conroe, Texas, reportedly had notes on how to manufacture so-called ‘date-rape drugs,’ in her backpack at the time of her arrest. Police took the teacher into custody following a raid on her Woodlands apartment where police discovered more recipes, as well as methamphetamine, marijuana, numerous prenoscription medications, and Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate, a compound used in the manufacture of date rape drugs.

An Oakland County jury deliberated for a little more than an hour Friday before returning its verdict against Peter Gerard Jones. The 47-year-old faces mandatory life in prison after being convicted of first-degree felony murder and first-degree murder in the death of Bernice Schaufele. Schaufele’s body was found Jan. 13 in her home in the 20900 block of West Glen Haven Circle at the Country Place condo complex, about 20 miles northwest of Detroit. Schaufele’s daughter had come to check on her after she failed to show up for a doctor’s appointment. Authorities say Jones, an ex-convict whose criminal history includes two murders, killed Schaufele and then stole money and jewelry to buy crack cocaine. Schaufele died of “near strangling and a stab wound to the neck. Jones, who lived two doors down from Schaufele, was out on parole at the time of the killing for another violent crime. He pleaded no contest to manslaughter after authorities say he fatally stabbed a Detroit man in 1997. - (Black-on-white)

The suspect was taken to a hospital to be examined, Redmon said. Slain: Michael 'Eli' Mahoney was killed in his home after trying to protect his mother from her estranged boyfriend, Sheriff Dewayne Redmon said. Mother: Kim Thomas, Mahoney's mother was reportedly abducted by estranged boyfriend Terry Froman Froman's vehicle was stopped by Ohio authorities, who found 34-year-old Kim Thomas dead inside, the sheriff said. According to WHIO, Froman had shot himself. Thomas 'was found naked and bloody, and likely was shot multiple times,' the affiliate station reported. Earlier Friday, authorities found the body of her 17-year-old son, Michael Mahoney, in the front part of their home in Mayfield, Kentucky, Redmon said. There were signs of a struggle, he said. 'What we believe, apparently the son intervened and tried to protect his mother, and it cost him his life,' the sheriff said. Prosecutors played surveillance video of the attack frame by frame, as victim Rebecca Stafford described what she remembered. "I remember him reaching into my car, and grabbing me, and I said, 'Are you going to hit me?' And then it was like lights out, and then I don't remember anything until I woke up," said Stafford. Stafford, 47, told prosecutors what she experienced when she was repeatedly punched last September. Firefighter Ian Eulian and his mother Lonieta Fontaine are accused in the attack. Pictures of her bruised and battered face were shown in court. At one point, Stafford broke down in tears while looking at the surveillance video. Officials say 25-year-old Christopher Rossing has not been seen or heard from since Friday, Aug. 22. On Wednesday, Sept. 10, deputies arrested 28-year-old Robert Otis Nuttall on kidnapping charges. Thirty-two-year-old Gwen Maria Butcher was then arrested Friday, Sept. 12, on felony obstruction charges. Both were connected to Rossing’s disappearance, officials say. According to the investigation, Rossing was involved in some sort of physical altercation with Nuttall along Highway 12 in the city of Howard Lake before his disappearance. Anyone who witnessed the altercation or has information about the case is asked to call the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 763-682-7637. When police arrived, they found the teen's mother holding Kessler. Kessler told police that he and the boy met four times, had oral and anal sex and used protection every time except once. HarringtonCharles SoukupJACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A man convicted in the 2010 murder of an 83-year-old man lost his appeal before the First District Court of Appeal on Thursday. According to the District Attorney's Office, Raymond Matthew Austin Jr., 21, and three others kidnapped Charles Soukup from the Jacksonville International Airport in a stolen rental car. Austin, who was 17 at the time, reportedly choked the elderly man before taking him to a wooded area and shooting him in the forehead at close range. Austin and the three other defendants fled in the stolen car. The DA's Office said later in the same day Austin shot one of the co-defendant's ex-boyfriends in the chest. In 2012, a jury convicted Austin of first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, kidnapping with a firearm and armed robbery. Austin was sentenced to 90 years in prison for Soukup's murder and 45 years in prison for the second-degree murder conviction. The sentences will be served consecutively. - (Black-on-white)

He said the money was his portion of the $300 taken during the beating, robbery and murder of Bilal Berreni last year, according to statements read by Detroit police homicide investigator Ira Todd. The teen, who is not being named because he is a juvenile, was in Wayne County Juvenile Court for his preliminary examination before Judge Virgil Smith on murder and robbery charges. The teen and three other defendants are accused in Berreni’s death after confronting him on the basketball courts of the abandoned Brewster public housing projects at St. Antoine and Alfred the afternoon of July 29, 2013. Berreni, 23, was looking for scrap materials to salvage for an art project he was working on, Todd said. The four were part of a violent street gang called the Young Brewster (racial epithet), which, police say, have robbed and terrorized areas where Wayne State University students have frequented. They also have attacked and robbed others in the St. Antoine/Chene and Interstate 75/Mack areas. According to the 14-year-old’s statement to police, the four teens approached Berreni and asked him for money. When he refused to give up his cash, he was attacked and shot in the face. One of the defendants found $300 in Berreni’s pant leg. The group also took his Bridge and ATM cards. The teen identified “Tae” as 17-year-old Dionte Darryle Travis, one of the three older suspects in the case. SoellerDodge County Sheriff’s officials have identified a 30-year-old Milwaukee woman as a suspect in the murder of 43-year-old Michael Soeller of Randolph. They say Kriscilla McHenry was identified after her image was released to the public late last month. A sketch and photo were released of a possible suspect. Authorities say she should be considered armed and dangerous. She is described as a black woman who stands 5 foot 5 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, but is known to wear wigs. She was the last person seen with Soeller before his body was discovered in his Town of Fox Lake apartment on August 24th. She was last seen in the City of Milwaukee. There is currently a warrant out for her arrest on a stolen vehicle charges. Anyone who knows of her whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement office or the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office at 920-386-3748. - (Black-on-white)

As further proof, these critics point to the inelegant remark made by a black woman who watched and videotaped the crowd of black teens pouring across a Kroger parking lot. As several teens kicked a white Kroger worker who curled into a fetal position to protect himself, the woman can be heard on the video laughing and saying, “They got a white dude.” The 11 alleged assailants arrested to date are black. - (Black-on-white)
   

    Black South Jersey Man Accused of Molesting Children at Late Wife’s Daycare Center
Dennis AlstonWILLINGBORO, N.J. — A Willingboro man is in custody, charged with molesting two children in a daycare center his wife had operated out of their home. Dennis Alston, 54, is being held in lieu of $300,000 bail after a probe indicated problems at Home Sweet Home, the daycare center his wife ran out of their Timber Lane home. “We were approached by one of the parents of one of the children at the daycare center who indicated that, after speaking with her child, she learned that her child had been sexually assaulted by Mr. Alston on more than one occasion,” says Burlington County prosecutor Robert Bernardi.

   

ILLEGAL ALIEN Charged With Stabbing Woman With Kitchen Knife
Baldomero Velasco-LopezAn illegal immigrant was arrested early Wednesday in Chambersburg, after police said he stabbed a woman three times with a large kitchen knife. Baldomero Velasco-Lopez, 37, who was living in the 700 block of Broad Street in Chambersburg, has been charged with attempted criminal homicide and aggravated assault. He was denied bail and is being held in Franklin County Prison. The 35-year-old woman he is accused of stabbing was first brought to the Chambersburg Hospital before she was airlifted to the York Hospital Trauma Center.  - (Invasion!)

Grieving loved ones hope this case serves as a wake up call to others and helps save someone else's life. A "Sons of Arthritis" type rider, his name is Thomas Holloway but he was more than that to 15-year-old Seth Bonetti, who is now grieving sudden loss. "Well, he ... he loved us that's one thing," Seth said. Tuesday afternoon Holloway was on his Harley on Shelby Drive heading home from work when a car trying to turn left onto Swinnea Road pulled in front of him. "His pelvis was shattered. His shoulder was shattered. There were broken bones," Seth noted. "And the doctor's told them there was nothing they could do to stop the bleeding on his brain." The longtime navy veteran died at the hospital. Christopher Franklin, the other driver, is in jail charged with, among other things, driving under the influence. According to an affidavit of complaint, Franklin's license has been revoked since October 2007 after what was then his fourth DUI. - (Black-on-white)

Najee Bilaal, 15-year-old Zaria Estes, and 15-year-old Kanesha GaineyA 15-year-old girl who allegedly hit a Temple University student across the face with a brick -- breaking her jaw and dislocating her teeth -- in one of several random assaults near the North Philly college campus will be tried as an adult. Philadelphia Judge Benjamin Lerner denied a request made by Zaria Estes' attorney to send her case to Family Court, even though he agreed to allow the cases of her alleged accomplices, who are also juveniles, to be moved. Initially, all three teenage girls were charged as adults for the random, gang-style attacks when they were arrested in March. Hardy was released on $17,000 total bond as well as the order to attend three Alcohoic's Anonymous classes per week and have no contact with Holder. Hardy and Holder met in late 2013 while she was working as a waitress. They have been on and off since, including a brief period of living together earlier this year.     Ann and George Taylor die from injuries suffered in attack by black killer

Police announced the death of 86-year-old Ann Taylor, whose desperate 911 call alerted authorities to a crime spree in south Kansas City. Taylor died Tuesday at an area hospital, Kansas City police announced Tuesday afternoon. They said Taylor's family had notified them of her death. "Our condolences continue to be with all families involved," the police department said in a news release. In a separate news release, the Taylors' family announced the death of both. "George and Ann died peacefully and we are blessed that they left this Earth together. They were married more than 40 years, and loved each other dearly," the statement said. "They lived life fully, and while many might say they were old, they were healthy, vibrant, independent and extremely active in the community - a community they loved and gave back to generously." Brandon B. Howell was previously charged with assaulting the couple, brutally beating and leaving them in the basement of their South Kansas City home. He is accused of gunning down the Taylors' neighbors as they caught Howell trying to steal the Taylors' antique Jaguar. When he was unable to start the vehicle, he then stole their Toyota Highlander, police said. - (Black-on-white)

But on Wednesday, barely 24 hours and an “all-hands-on-deck” police investigation later, authorities announced that they had charged a 34-year-old former convict in the crime. Brandon B. Howell, acquitted five years ago in the killings of two teenagers, now faces apotential death sentence for Tuesday’s spasm of violence against three separate families in a quiet south Kansas City cul-de-sac. Wednesday was not the first time Howell has been accused of murder.
    Nick Travis and Tabitha BrewerA Jackson County jury in 2009 acquitted him in the killings of Johnson County teenagers Tabitha Brewer and Nick Travis. Howell also spent time in prison for a 1999 home invasion robbery in Gardner in which a pet cat was beheaded. He was paroled in 2011. Brewer, 16, and Travis, 18, were last seen by their families in April 1998. Several days later, Brewer’s partially burned purse was found near 55th Street and the Paseo. Four months after they disappeared, Travis’ body was discovered buried in the yard of a duplex in the 5400 block of the Paseo. The duplex was being renovated at the time by Howell’s father, according to later testimony at his trial. Brewer’s body has never been found. - (Black-on-white)
