Juwon Montael Lewis, 24, of Lumberton is charged with: 2 counts of first degree murder, 2 counts of first degree kidnapping and 2 counts of felony conspiracy. Identify Fallen Richardson Officer & Accused Gunman   RICHARDSO,
Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Police have released the name of the Richardson
police officer who was killed along with a civilian on Wednesday
evening. Officer David Sherrard
was shot after responding to a call about a disturbance at the
Breckinridge Point Apartments, near Renner Road and North Star
Road.During a morning news conference Richardson police Chief Jimmy
Spivey said when officers arrived they found the injured civilian
and began rendering aid. “In the course of their investigation they
were led to an apartment where they made an entry and immediately
encountered gunfire.” The Chief said Officer Sherrard fell back out
of the apartment and was immediately helped by other officers.After allegedly shooting Officer Sherrard, accused gunman Brandon De McCall barricaded himself inside one of the apartments for more than four hours. The wounded 37-year-old officer was rushed to Medical City Plano but died from his injuries. He had been shot in the neck. Chief Spivey said, “I can tell you that Officer Sherrard is a brave, tenured police officer who died in the service of his community.” Early Thursday morning police also identified the civilian victim killed as Rene Gamez. Police say the 30-year-old lived in the apartment where McCall held police at bay and that (Gamez) knew the accused gunman. The exact relationship between the two men, if any, isn’t known. Last summer he was committed to a mental hospital for threatening to jump off a bridge and telling the arresting officers that he wanted to be taken to a doctor and “put to sleep permanently.” - (Black-on-white) |

Tempe fire captain shot, killed (by unprovoked EVIL black) in
road ("rage") incident in Scottsdale  Scottsdale
police Sunday evening arrested a 21-year-old man they say fatally
shot a Tempe fire captain several hours earlier. Hezron Michri
Parks faces second-degree murder charges in the death of
34-year-old Captain Kyle Brayer,
police said. Brayer was riding in the back of a golf cart with
a few others in downtown Scottsdale about 2:30 a.m., heading south
on Civic Center Plaza, according to Sgt. Ben Hoster, a Scottsdale
police spokesman. Hoster said the group was approaching Stetson
Drive when a man driving a red Scion TC coupe began driving behind
the golf cart and bumping the rear of it. Brayer got off the
cart and approached the Scion driver, later identified as Parks,
Hoster said. Parks shot Brayer in the head with a .40-caliber
handgun before fleeing east on Stetson and south on 75th Street,
hitting other cars along the way, according to police and court
records. Brayer was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Snellville man now faces a murder charge after he shot and killed
his neighbor during a home invasion, Gwinnett County police
said. Kyle Rubio’s
family took him off life support and donated his organs Wednesday,
according to a post on a GoFundMe page, just days after police say Brannon
Walker shot him at the victim’s Loganville home.
“The lead detective has secured a warrant for felony murder against
Walker.” Walker, 35, claimed self-defense in the Sunday
afternoon shooting, but Gwinnett police said the evidence determined
that wasn’t the case. He also faces a charge of first-degree
home invasion. Family and friends who witnessed the
shooting said that Walker was there to confront Rubio, 24, about a
$200 debt the victim owed him. “He was trying to kick
the door down and Kyle heard it, so from what I hear, Kyle grabbed a
baseball bat and the gun went off faster than he could swing,”

Kansas City mother takes action after 3 (black) armed robbers
pistol-whipped her     RAYTOWN,
MO (KCTV) - A Kansas City mother helped police track down the
suspects who pistol whipped and robbed her and her son at
gunpoint. She found an online ad and hoped to buy clothing for
her son but instead became the target of armed thieves. After the
suspects took of with the mother's purse, Carrie called 911 and
reported their location to police. They tried to run, but officers
say they found them near 350 Highway and Raytown Road. There,
police arrested 27-year-old Christin Sirls and 17-year-old Markquinn
Jones and Josie Jefferson. Carrie came to apartments off Buckingham Lane in Raytown to meet a young man who had posted basketball shorts for sale online. That sale never happened and she said the three suspects ambushed her car from behind. "They got the door open and when they did, I had one of them with a gun sticking it to the back of my head," she said. A second suspect was pointing a gun at her son. "He ripped my door open," she said. "He hit me with an AR-15 in my mouth on the side of my face. He called me real nasty names and told me, 'give me everything you've got!'" Carrie says that suspect grabbed her wedding ring. "He was ripping my ring off my finger," she said. "Which he got it off. When he got it off, that's when I bit him because that was my only defense." The suspect dropped the ring during the struggle, but took off with her purse. She followed the suspects, staying several hundred feet back and reported their every move while on the phone with police. TN (WSMV) - The man accused of a 2015 rape and murder near MTSU has
accepted a plea deal. According to the Rutherford Co. Criminal
Court Clerk, Brandon Bowling will spend 40 years in prison
for raping and killing Heather
Maples. Bowling was charged with six counts of rape, two
counts of sexual battery, two counts of aggravated rape and two
counts of first-degree murder. In the deal, he pled guilty to 2
counts of aggravated rape and one count of first-degree murder,
which was lowered second-degree murder. All other charges were
dismissed. Bowling will serve two concurrent sentences of 40
years at 100 percent for murder and 15 years at 100 percent for

Bartow woman gets 35 years for killing (black) ex-husband  BARTOW
– Sherri Fugate Gammons, who faced up to life in prison had
she gone to trial this week on charges of first-degree murder, has
pleaded guilty to a lesser second-degree murder charge in exchange
for a 35-year prison sentence. Gammons, 47, was charged with fatally
shooting her ex-husband, 56-year-old Aundra Gammons, whose
body was found Aug. 26, 2015, in the yard of the home they shared in
Bartow. An autopsy would show a single gunshot had pierced his heart
and left lung, according to Polk County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Deputies reported that in the days and weeks leading up to Aundra
Gammons’ death, his ex-wife had made several references to friends
and family about killing him. In a conversation overheard by her
nephew, John Fugate, Gammons told her ex-husband, “I should just
kill you for the insurance money,” reports stated. |

Suspect identified in deadly officer-involved shooting in
Colorado Springs
     COLORADO
SPRINGS - The man who fatally shot an El Paso County deputy and
injured two other deputies, a Colorado Springs officer and a nearby
citizen has been identified. Manuel Zetina, 19,
of Colorado Springs was killed in the crossfire with El Paso County
deputies and a Colorado Springs officer at Murray Hill Apartments on
Monday night. Beat Auto Theft Through Law Enforcement task
force detectives were in the 4200 block of Galley Road at just
before 4 p.m. investigating a stolen vehicle. While the
detectives were trying to make an arrest on Zetina, he drew a
gun and began firing. Deputy
Micah Lee Flick was killed while Deputy Scott Stone, Sergeant
Jake Abendshan, and Officer Marcus Yanez were wounded and
rushed to the hospital. Thomas
Villaneuva was walking in the area and was shot
through the chest. He is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. |

church service stabbing leaves at least one dead; Hispanic
suspect in custody
At least one person died after a knife-wielding man went on a
stabbing rampage during a church service at a private home in Texas
Wednesday night, police said. Corpus Christi police Lt. Chris Hooper
said 12 to 20 people were in the home when an apparent member of the
congregation pulled a knife and stabbed four men. A
61-year-old man died of his injuries, while the
church’s pastor was hospitalized in serious condition. Hooper
declined to identify the victims. The other two people stabbed were
expected to survive. The suspect, Marco Antonio Moreno,
28, surrendered to congregants. He is being held at the Nueces
County jail on murder and aggravated assault charges. |

SMITH (KFSM) -- A man is facing charges in connection with the death
of a 20-month-old girl after a medical examiner said he thinks the
cause of death was "blunt force abdominal trauma," according to
court documents. The manner of death is listed as homicide, the
documents state. The motive has yet to be released.Tyree La'Mont Williams, 25, is accused of first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 20-month-old Kylah Mikel Woodard, according to police. Williams was the live-in boyfriend. He was arrested Wednesday (Jan. 31) on an unrelated warrant, but after speaking with investigators Thursday (Feb. 1), Williams faces first-degree murder. Williams reportedly told investigators he punched Kylah more than once in her stomach. He told them he has hit her during past occasions, the documents state. Investigators were dispatched to Sparks Regional Medical Center at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 30), regarding a couple entering the emergency room carrying a dead little girl, according to police. She died at the hospital about 30 minutes after arriving. There were "obvious signs of physical abuse... ," Prosecuting Attorney Dan Shue said. Police said Kylah had bruises on her body. "She was the center of everyone's life. Kylah was a wonderful, brilliant child and we are going to miss her terribly," said Grandmother Bobbie Jones and Great-Grandmother Diane Thomas. "She was our fourth generation in both families and we are all grieving for her. She was the joy of our lives." The family also spoke about Kylah's biological father and mother. They said they are both relying on support from family to get through this tragic time. In Arkansas, first-degree murder is a Class Y felony, and Williams could face life in prison if convicted. He will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Sebastian County Courthouse. While being escorted by investigators to the Sebastian County Detention Center from the Fort Smith Police Department, Williams said he's "sorry". He is in the detention center without bond. charges after allegedly shooting, killing 18-year-old Kole
Jopek.Spears is facing charges of First Degree Reckless Homicide and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon following the January 25 homicide near 44th and North. Officers spoke with a witness who lives in the home where Jopek was killed. The witness told police that he has a cousin who arranges for him to purchase drugs from a supplier. The witness said he was contacted by his cousin about purchasing "lean" for $85. The witness said his cousin showed up at his house along with the drug supplier who stated that he now wanted $20 per ounce of the drug. The witness said the drug supplier then produced a pistol and said: "You know what time it is!" before allegedly pushing Jopek against the wall. The witness said he heard gunfire and ran out of the home. Police made contact with the cousin who said that he and the drug supplier, known as T.I. went to the home together to conduct the drug deal. The cousin told police that while inside the home, T.I. produced a semi-automatic pistol and fired at someone who was on the floor before chaos ensued inside the home. The cousin said he ran out of the home with T.I. in the same vehicle that they arrived in. The cousin told police that T.I. threatened to kill him and everyone he cares about if he went to police about the homicide. An additional witness also told police that he saw a man walk over to Jopek before hearing multiple gunshots being fired. Jopek was able to flee the home before he collapsed and died outside. Gautier man sentenced to 60 years in sexual assault of child JACKSON
COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A Gautier man will spend the next 60 years
behind bars for sexually assaulting a child. Jerome Mack Austin,
41, was found guilty Wednesday of two counts of sexual battery. His
sentence will run day-for-day, with each count running consecutively
to each other, for a total sentence of 60 years. Upon his release,
he will have to register as a sex offender. According to
authorities, the abuse was of a
12-year-old girl and occurred between Nov. 1, 2010,
and May 31, 2011, in Jackson County. The victim told her mother
about the abuse, which led to an investigation by Gautier Police
Department.After an indictment was returned against Austin, authorities were able to locate him in Oregon and extradite him back to Mississippi. Officials say they hope Austin's long sentence will serve as a warning to other criminals. |

of a 16-year-old girl, the
Edgecombe County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday. The charge
stems from an incident that occurred on Feb. 1, when the Edgecombe
County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a rape. A
16-year-old girl reported that she was forcibly raped while at an
address on King Avenue in Princeville. The teen was taken to Vidant
Edgecombe Hospital where a sexual assault exam was performed.

A 62-year-old Lady’s Island man faces a rape charge after being
accused of repeatedly assaulting a woman in Beaufort over a two year
period, according to a Beaufort Police Department report.Johnnie Jackson, identified in the report as an apartment manager at Mossy Oaks Village Apartments on Johnny Morrall Circle, is charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct, according to online Beaufort County Detention Center records. He was brought to the detention center early Monday morning. Jackson is accused of forcing his way into the apartment of a female tenant and raping her, according to the report. The victim, with the help of an employee of the Beaufort County Disabilities and Special Needs Department, reported the incident to police in early December 2017, according to the report. She said Jackson attacked her “routinely” once a month from September 2015 through the end of November 2017, according to the report. |

investigator visited the couple. The investigator accused Brenda of attempting to suffocate her 74-year-old husband and hiding his hearing aids. The protective order was vacated after Edwards died last Thursday at a hospital from complications due to meningitis. Brenda denied the accusations in a statement on Monday. |

Belair was fired after video surfaced showing him using profanities while threatening to beat a driver and telling him to leave the country. The News-Times reports the arbitration panel said a 90-day suspension would have been more appropriate. dead in 'planned killing spree' across metro Detroit; (black)
suspect in custody   OAKLAND
COUNTY, Mich. (WJBK) - A man is in police custody after two fatal
shootings at a pair of businesses across metro Detroit Thursday
morning. The first fatal workplace shooting happened at a
business in Taylor around 10:30 a.m., according to police there. The
suspect walked into BSD Trucking with a semiautomatic weapon and
started shooting. One man was struck and killed. Taylor Police then
say the suspect held his gun to a truck driver's head, stole the
semi and drove off. The second fatal shooting happened at a business
in Pontiac just about an hour later. Oakland County Sheriff
Michael Bouchard says one person was shot and killed at Aluminum
Stamping Inc. The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Eriberto
Perez. Bouchard said this was "clearly, a planned killing spree." Authorities recovered an AK-47 from the vehicle, as well as "multiple, multiple" rounds of magazines, Bouchard said. Taylor Police say the suspect was a former employee of BSD Trucking. Wednesday, the Toledo man was sentenced to eight years in prison for
failing to tell his late girlfriend of his status.Kimberly Klempner, 51, died from acquired immunodeficiency syndrome, or AIDS, last year. “No one deserved to give my mother her death sentence. No one,” Joshua Klempner told the court in a statement read by his mother's sister, Michele Dail. “The defendant did just that. A selfish act that could have been avoided if the defendant would have just spoke up and told the truth about the disease.” Murdock, 52, of the 3200 block of Craigmoor Avenue had been indicted for murder but pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of involuntary manslaughter. Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Stacy Cook found him guilty and immediately sentenced him to prison. Murdock, who faced up to 11 years in prison, apologized to Ms. Klempner's family. “Me and Kim had a great friendship,” he said. “I took her everywhere. I was her transportation. ... I apologize if I harmed her, did anything to her. I cared about Kim a whole lot.” Judge Cook asked Murdock if he informed his wife that he was HIV-positive. He said that he had but admitted he did not tell Ms. Klempner. The judge said Ms. Klempner's death “was avoidable had disclosure been given. It would have been her choice then. If she chose to still engage in a relationship, it would have been done with full knowledge.” Drew Wood, an assistant county prosecutor, told the court Murdock and Ms. Klempner had engaged in a sexual relationship between June 1, 2011, and Oct. 1, 2016. She learned she was HIV-positive in August, 2016, and died Feb. 5, 2017. Before her death, Ms. Klempner told Toledo Police detective Diana Trevino that when she told Murdock about her test results, “The defendant did not seem to react in any significant way. The women, who are sisters, according to the Brockton Enterprise,
also allegedly poured a substance over the girl’s eyes which

Hernando man accused of asking girl for sex on Snapchat, watched
students at K-8 school PRING
HILL, Fla. (WFLA) – An accused child predator was caught in the act
again in Hernando County after deputies say he sent graphic images
to a girl on Snapchat and asked for sex. Deputies say Jordan
Waters, 20, would stand outside of Explorer K-8 school on
Northcliffe Boulevard in Spring Hill where the victim, 14, went to
school and watch kids as they were dismissed. He lives a block away
and could see the driveway of the school from his home.
Deputies say Waters somehow got the girl’s Snapchat username and
admitted to sending her graphic pictures and videos. The
girl explained that she was only 14, but deputies say
Waters told her he didn’t care and that he was 20. Investigators say
deputies used the girl’s phone to arrange a meeting with Waters at
Delta Woods Park on Deltona Boulevard for a hook up. Deputies
arrested him when he arrived. Waters was already on probation for a
similar crime against a child in 2016. |

mother of five was stabbed and killed over the weekend by a man who
police say caused a disturbance at a bar where she worked in St.
Joseph. Court records reported by the St. Joseph News-Press said the
woman had been stabbed in the neck early Saturday morning after she
asked the man to leave the bar. She was identified as Terra
M. Reents, 38. The man accused in the incident, Eliseo
Hernandez-Sebastian, 26, of St. Joseph, is now facing
murder and assault charges after police say he stabbed two bar
employees, including Reents, at Legend’s Sports Bar and Grill.
Reents later died from her injuries. The Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney’s office charged Hernandez-Sebastian with second-degree murder and first-degree assault on Monday. A GoFundMe account was created Monday for Reents and more than $3,900 has been raised to help cover funeral expenses. The bar is also scheduled to host a benefit Feb. 14 for the victim’s family. Attorney Omar Escobar. The offenses are a Class A misdemeanor and a
state jail felony, respectively. The Starr County Elections
Department discovered that an application for a ballot by mail

had died.There was at least one other case of an application that was submitted for a deceased voter, but that one is still being investigated. Ernestina Barron, 50, was the first arrested in the case. crash that killed an Illinois Tollway worker last year on the
Tri-State Tollway near south suburban Alsip.Christian Andrew Davon Hannah was arrested Thursday for the crash that killed Tollway maintenance worker David Schwarz on Sept. 18, 2017, according to a statement from Illinois State Police. He was charged with a felony count of reckless homicide. Schwarz, 48, was picking up debris at 12:23 p.m. from an earlier crash along the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 294 near 127th Street when a semitrailer sideswiped him and his vehicle, according to the Illinois Tollway and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. Schwarz’s truck was parked on the shoulder with its emergency lights activated and a caution board sign was set up warning motorists to slow down at the time of the crash, state police said. CITY (KOKH) — A former Oklahoma City pharmacist has passed the
first step in getting his sentence reduced.
Jerome Ersland was sentenced to life with the possibility of
parole on a first degree murder conviction after killing would-be
robber Antwun Parker in May 2009 at Reliable Pharmacy.
Surveillance video showed Ersland shooting and wounding Parker
during the robbery and then returning to the pharmacy and firing
five more shots into his body. Ersland has been granted a hearing to
explain why he thinks his sentence should be commuted. Of the 52
prisoners who requested a hearing last month, only Ersland made it

48, was found guilty of murder and possession of a weapon during the

Another suspect, 38 year-old Kelvin Armstrong, is still being sought by police. Once inside, police say the men held the boy against his will and raped him. Walker was quickly taken into custody following the incident while Armstrong remains on the loose. CITY (KOKH) — A man faces a complaint of indecent exposure after
police say he was caught masturbating in the emergency room of a
metro hospital. Oklahoma City Police Department reports show that at
approximately 4:30 a.m. Jan. 26 officers were called to St. Anthony
Hospital for a disturbance in the cardiac emergency room waiting
area. Police arrived on scene and found 28-year-old Alex
Cornelius Duru reportedly sitting in a chair naked and
masturbating. On the table next to Duru was a bottle of lotion.
Hospital officials say that several women from the cleaning crew
discovered Duru and notified police. Duru allegedly continued to masturbate while the officer waited for backup. Transit train ended with gunfire Friday morning. The shooting
happened around 5 a.m. near the Pearl Street Station at Pearl and
Bryan streets in Downtown Dallas. DART police say 19-year-old Travonte
Martin shot a man after an argument. Witnesses say Martin's
pants were sagging and the victim told him to pull them up.
About 50 other commuters were on board when the shooting started.
"The suspect pulled out a gun, shot him twice, ran off the train and

Okla. - Police in Muskogee seized ecstasy pills, marijuana and guns
after serving a warrant on a man wanted for burglary. Muskogee
police assisted the U.S. Marshal's Office in serving the warrant for
Tevan Adams. He was wanted for possessing a firearm after a
previous conviction. When the warrant was served at a house on 37th
Street, police said they saw the drugs, weapons and paraphernalia in
plain sight. Adams was hiding in the attic and fell through the
ceiling, according to police. Laquinta Anderson and Antonio
Gardent Jr. were also arrested on harboring and possession

suburban Dolton has surrendered to authorities. Deandre Jones,
39, was taken into custody Friday after turning himself over to

“a special needs man” to death with a gun on Nov. 10, 2015,

Albany woman charged with stabbing dog during domestic incident ALBANY
-- Police arrested a woman Friday afternoon, saying she stabbed her
mother's dog during a domestic incident. Officers responded to a
home on Kent Street at around 1 p.m., for a report of a domestic
incident.Arriving officers learned that "Princess" Thompson, 33, had threatened to harm her mother with a knife during an altercation. They said that at some point during the incident, Thompson stabbed her mother's dog in the nose and the back of its neck, causing lacerations and bleeding. A 3-year-old child was also present. The dog sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and was taken to a veterinarian for evaluation. |

dead and a man injured Saturday night in Orlando, according to the
Orange County Sheriff's Office.Witnesses told deputies that Kelly Darish, 50, was at her home on 23rd Street arguing with an unknown man about $10 when she asked Kenneth Russell, who was in the kitchen, to intervene, an arrest warrant said. Deputies said witnesses who were at the home heard gunshots and then saw a man, later identified as 39-year-old Darroll Bugg, run out of Darish's bedroom and into a maroon 1999 Dodge Ram van that had been parked outside the residence. Darish then emerged from the bedroom bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound to her thigh, and Russell was found suffering from gunshot wounds to his right bicep and right leg, according to the report. Both victims were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where Darish died and Russell underwent surgery. Based on information provided by witnesses, Bugg was identified as a suspect in the crime. NC couple wanted in connection with beating of elderly (White)
couples arrested in Myrtle Beach      MYRTLE
BEACH, N.C. (WFMY) — “Rest easy tonight.” Those are the words
Randolph County Sheriff Robert Graves gave his community after Jeremy
Hayes and his girlfriend Kennedy Boggs were taken into
custody in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on Tuesday night. Hayes is
wanted in connection with several robberies and assaults, including
assaults on two Triad elderly couples. The first attack happened
last week at a home on Ingram Drive in Asheboro. An elderly couple
was attacked in their home after opening their door to a man
claiming to be with the water department. Hayes is believed to have
attacked the couple who are both in
their 80s. Emergency crews treated the couple for
various injuries. Investigators believe Hayes’ girlfriend,
Kennedy Boggs, is related to the victims.Sunday, Graves confirmed they believed Hayes attacked again. This time it was a person working at a rest stop in Seagrove. The 21-year-old victim was robbed and beaten so badly that he needed 35 stitches and 42 staples. Deputies say they think he committed another assault and robbery Saturday night of an elderly couple on the 5000 block of Old Randleman Road in Guilford County. McInnis said his grandparents received multiple stitches and staples for their injuries. His grandfather’s nose is broken and both of the victims are badly bruised.
