Mother of (white) 6-month-old burned to death has been arrested -
new charges expected against black woman  NATCHITOCHES,
La. (KNOE) - Authorities say the mother of a
6-month-old who died after suffering severe burns has
been arrested. According to the Natchitoches Police Department,
22-year-old Hannah Barker on Wednesday after claiming that
someone maced her and then kidnapped her baby. She has been charged
with Principal to 1st Degree Murder. "Earlier this week,
(black) Natchitoches resident Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith was
arrested for 1st Degree Murder in the case. An additional charge
is expected to be brought against Smith." Investigators
have not disclosed the relationship between Hannah Barker and
Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith. |

on Friday night in connection with the stabbing death of a real
estate developer in Rittenhouse Square. Michael White,
20, is accused of killing 37-year-old Sean
Schellenger during an incident that happened 20 hours before
on Thursday just before 11 p.m. at the intersection of 17th and

says (interracial) couple dead following murder, suicide by
black estranged "husband" in Mississippi  ALCORN
COUNTY, Miss. — A Mississippi couple was found dead inside their
home after shots were fired late Sunday evening. The incident
reportedly happened on County Road 268, which is just outside of
Farmington. According to the Alcorn County Sheriff's Office, both of
them sustained gunshot wounds. Family members identified the woman
as 37-year-old Tanya Machado, and
the man as her estranged husband Phillip Alfred.

Makayla, are devastated. Alfred shot Machado in
Raylee's bedroom, set it on fire and then shot and killed himself in

2-year-old boy found dead KYLE,
Texas (KXAN) — The parents of a 2-year-old boy who died this month
in Kyle have been arrested and charged with causing his death as
well as allegedly injuring their
8-month-old girl.Stevie Dwayne Williams, 24, and Dazrine Ruth Chagoya-Williams, 20, were arrested Monday and charged with capital murder of a person under 10 years old and injury to a child. According to an affidavit, it appeared the boy was physically abused. Kyle police say they responded to the family's home on the Fourth of July holiday. When they arrived, officers found the child in the front hall. He was not breathing. They also found the toddler had "bruising on his left and right rib area, bruising on his back and bruising on his forehead." Williams told police "something not worldly" had hurt the boy, elaborating that it could be "Demons, Evil," the affidavit said. The boy been previously removed from his parents' care for almost a year after he was found with cracked ribs, a fractured wrist and burns to his "foot, leg and genitals from hot water." |

Ex-school security guard convicted of child sex assault MEDIA
COURTHOUSE >> A former Chester High School security guard has
been convicted on charges of sexual assault and sexual abuse of a
child. Namar Ikeam Plummer, 28, of the first block of Plaza
Street in Marcus Hook, was convicted on two charges of sexual
assault and sexual abuse of a child for creating child pornography
following a jury trial last week. Police launched an
investigation in August 2017 after a video appeared on Snapchat and
Facebook depicting a sexual act involving an adult male and a minor.
Investigators determined Plummer, had nonconsensual sex with a 16-year-old victim in his home in Marcus Hook and recorded the encounter. The victim told authorities she knew Plummer as “Mar,” a security guard at the high school. She said Plummer sexually assaulted her in July 2017 and threatened her with a gun if she did not comply. |

Garcia and Larry Gallegos posed as the victim's parents
on Feb. 22 and dragged him from a San Antonio park to a nearby

which he was allegedly taken. At the apartment, Gallegos brandished
a knife and threatened to cut the boy if he wasn't quiet, according
to his arrest affidavit.Garcia then held the boy down while Gallegos sexually abused him, the child told police. Investigators believe Garcia injected the boy with drugs, as he told investigators he "began to feel very sleep" after the injection, the affidavit says. |

she was standing in front of the Gas Mart store at 5745 Delmar

other man comes back outside and as the dispute continues, he kicks

The 22-year-old suspect’s family initially rallied behind him, pulling together assets in order to get Razzaq released on $1 million bail. But the he landed back behind bars after he was accused of attacking one of his sisters — allegedly threatening to kill her — in May 2016. He was then slapped with charges of criminal mischief for that incident. If convicted of murder, he faces up to life behind bars. |

suspects her daughter's BLACK 'boyfriend'  What
first appeared to be a traffic wreck that killed a Dothan woman
could turn into a murder case. Investigators plan to present
evidence related to the death of 37-year old Jeanine
Gravette to a Henry County Grand Jury next month. “On
June 24, the Ford Fusion she was driving ran off County Road 7 near
Newville and went into some trees,” said Henry County Sheriff’s
Investigator Keith Cauthen.Badly hurt, emergency crews rushed Gravette to a Dothan hospital where she was on life support until she died several days later. However, an accident report obtained by WTVY shows a state trooper concluded that Gravette’s injuries were not caused by the crash. The more investigators examined evidence, the more they became suspicious. Her body was found several yards away from the car, near the side of the roadway. While the report doesn’t suggest murder, the case was turned over to county investigators who say they have worked up to 70 hours a week seeking answers. However, Gravette’s mother thinks she already has the answer, believing her daughter’s longtime boyfriend, LaFelix Thomas, killed her daughter. “She was in a domestic violence situation (with Thomas) for about 10 years,” Tina Rodgers said. While he declined to discuss whether she had been sexually molested Rodgers, in the protection order, claimed Thomas is under investigation for raping and beating her daughter who suffered three skull fractures. - (Black-on-white) |

– A Moorhead woman is accused of sexually molesting a minor this
month at a motel here.Shaniese Latrice Davis, 42, is charged with a felony count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 13. According to court documents, police went to the motel at 12:19 a.m. July 11, after a report of a sexual assault that involved two children. One of the children told police her brother was bit and touched inappropriately by Davis. A breath test given to Davis showed her blood alcohol level was 0.25 percent, court documents stated. Separate interviews with the victim and his sister were done by a specialist from the Red River Children’s Advocacy Center. In her interview, the victim’s sister said she told her brother to go sleep in Davis’ bed because he kept falling off of hers. The victim said during his interview that Davis bit him on the back and showed the injuries. The victim told the specialist Davis tried to take off his pants and touched his penis, court documents stated, and forced his hand to touch her breast and vaginal area. Davis acknowledged to officers that she was in the same bed with the victim, according to court documents. |

woman was raped and assaulted with a baseball bat while being held
against her will for hours by her ex-boyfriend, police said.
Officers were called to a home in northwest Decatur on Sunday around
10:15 a.m. and found the woman naked and severely beaten, court
records state. She escaped and called 911 when her ex-boyfriend fell
asleep, said police spokeswoman Emme Long. The ex-boyfriend,
36-year-old Tony Lamar Boyd, is held in the Morgan County
jail without bail, records show. He's charged with rape, kidnapping,
burglary, sodomy and domestic violence. He's also accused of
violating a protection from abuse order that was issued in May,
according to court records. |

boy raped 12-year-old pleads guilty to lesser charges, sentenced
to 4.5 years 
An 18-year-old man accused
of raping a 12-year-old girl in early 2017 pleaded guilty to
lesser charges last week and was sentenced to more than 4 years in
prison Monday (July 23). Kendrick
Perkins had just turned 17 when he raped a young
girl near her 7th Ward home on Feb. 26, 2017. The girl was a few
weeks shy of her 13th birthday, according to court records. Perkins
was arrested on May 22, 2017 and booked into Orleans Justice Center
jail on first-degree rape charges, court records show. He remained
in custody while awaiting trial, in lieu of a $1,000,000 bond.
Instead of going to trial Friday as scheduled, Perkins pleaded
guilty to an amended charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Had he been found guilty of first-degree rape, Perkins would have
faced a mandatory life-sentence because the victim was under the age
of 13. |

HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (WABC) -- Police are searching for the man who
allegedly bit off another man's lip during a fight in a Brooklyn
subway station last month. The incident was reported inside the
Utica Avenue subway station at 10 p.m. on June 9, but the NYPD just
released surveillance images of the suspect on Monday. Apparently
the suspect and a 37-year-old man got into a physical fight, and
during the altercation, the suspect
bit off a piece of the victim's lip. The victim was
taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition. The suspect ran
out of the station and is described as 35 to 45 years old, 5 feet 11
inches and bald. He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue jacket and a
black and purple backpack. |

police responded to a St. Paul townhouse Monday, they found a
16-year-old girl had survived a brutal physical and
sexual assault. Police also found a relative dead in the home and
are investigating the case as a homicide.Officers arrested a man known both to the teen and the 39-year-old woman who died. Police arrested Ivan Dan Walker, 33, on suspicion of kidnapping and criminal sexual conduct. He is a person of interest in the homicide investigation, police said. The case is “one of the most disturbing and heartbreaking scenes we’ve seen in awhile,” said Steve Linders, a St. Paul police spokesman. |

men have been convicted of raping a German tourist on a secluded
rooftop in Hollywood, prosecutors said Monday. A jury found
29-year-old Kenneth Mack and Otis Barway, 25, guilty in the
2016 attack on Friday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s
Office said in a news release. Mack was convicted of two counts of forcible rape in concert, while co-defendant Barway was found guilty of one count of forcible rape in concert. The two were tied to the crime by DNA evidence following the assault in the early morning hours of Dec. 5, 2016. After meeting the victim, the defendants allegedly lured her to an isolated rooftop, where Mack knocked her to the ground. Both men then proceeded to rape her, prosecutors said. Mack was arrested about a week later on Dec. 13, while Barway was arrested on Dec. 26, inmate records show. |

charge of first-degree murder in the death Tuesday of Levi
Cole Ellerbe. The burned baby was found more than an
hour after his mother reported him kidnapped Tuesday night. The
mother told Natchitoches police two strangers banged on her door and
sprayed her with a chemical. Police say she ran away and came back
to find her son was gone. He was found after a woman reported a fire

Hong Nguyen was found guilty Monday of murder and arson
in the deaths of Kansas City firefighters Larry
Leggio and John Mesh. The 46-year-old
lit a fire among flammable liquids in a storeroom of her nail
salon that destroyed a three-story building in the 2600 block
of Independence Boulevard on Oct. 12, 2015. Mesh and Leggio were
among more than 100 firefighters battling the three-alarm blaze. The
two men were in an alley when the east wall of the building
collapsed, burying them in bricks. Two other firefighters were
seriously injured. Nguyen was also found
guilty of another count of arson in the first degree for setting a
separate fire in a nail salon she operated in Lee’s Summit in 2013.
The prosecution painted a picture of Nguyen as someone who had a
habit of burning her businesses for insurance money. Nguyen listened

building and arrested the following afternoon. Choul
approached the children near the apartment building where he chased
them and hurled his threats. Witnesses said the man threatened to "cut

children that "he had a bag of salt and would put salt on them as
seasoning after he cut them into pieces.”The report says Choul also approached a mother with her 1-year-old baby and told her he would kidnap the child. CITY (KOKH) — Oklahoma City police are searching for two
suspects involved in an armed robbery on Saturday. Police say
two people stole money and miscellaneous items from a Family
Dollar store located at 113 S.W. 44th St. in Oklahoma City. The
suspects held two Family Dollar employees at gunpoint and exited
the store after stealing money from a cash register and safe
box, according to the police report.

LAKE CITY – The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the
public’s help identifying three individuals wanted for an
alleged robbery at a Family Dollar store. The suspects
were described as one African American or Polynesian female
in her 20’s with a white top and black spandex shorts, one
African American female in her 20’s wearing a brown
leather faded jacket and faded jeans with cuts, and a male
or female with dark corn rows down the center of their
head, with loose hair on the sides, with a moustache and a faded
backpack.

York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday pardoned seven more
criminals who are facing deportation for previous “minor
criminal convictions.” It marks the third time Cuomo has used
his power to grant clemency to immigrants facing ouster
from the US — including last December, when he pardoned 18
