from a nearby bodega.The victim was accosted as he was crossing the street by a black teenager carrying a wooden stick. When the victim realized he was about to be assaulted he attempted to flee. The victim ran into the cleaners owned by R’ Shloime Junik, whose son tried opening the door to provide shelter to the victim, though not fast enough. The attacker managed to swing and strike the victim over his back and shoulder causing the stick to break in half. The perpetrator then threw the second piece into the store and striking both the victim and another bystander and causing further injuries. |

hands.A scared 11-year-old pulled out what appeared to be a firearm from his waist and tossed it. The gun broke into pieces on a sidewalk on the north side of Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday. It was then Casuccio said he realized the weapon was a BB gun. In that split second, the officer showed restraint in the encounter, which was captured on a body camera video released Monday by Columbus police. He didn't fire his weapon. Instead, Casuccio, who is a father, said he went into "dad mode" and used the moment to teach the 11-year-old, who is African-American, a lesson. Korean brothels in Manhattan.Kwang “Kevin” Kyu Kim, his wife Hyun “Jay Hee” Kyung Han, and Hong “Diane” Nae Yi allegedly gave out hundreds of thousands of dollars in high-interest loans to several brothels and their employees from 2012 through 2018, according to a Manhattan federal criminal complaint. Kim allegedly went to great lengths to recoup his money when he “tracked down Korean sex workers who fled to Korea in order to escape their debts in New York,” and in one case he allegedly told one prostitute “he would come to her brothel and kill her if she did not make a payment,” the complaint alleges. NY -- The girlfriend of a driver accused of killing a bicyclist in
Clay has pleaded guilty to trying to cover up the crash and agreed
to cooperate with authorities, a judge revealed today.Ashley Cuozzo, 30, could face a short prison sentence for conspiring with Vontelle Sparks to cover up Sparks' June crash that killed bicyclist Lawrence Maturo, 27, of Clay. Today, Sparks was due in court to decide whether he wanted a plea deal that would send him to prison for 3 2/3 to 11 years. County Court Judge Thomas J. Miller told him that Sparks faced up to 7 5/6 to 18 years in prison if convicted of vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene and tampering with the crashed vehicle. (That's 2 1/3 to 7 years for leaving the scene, plus 3 1/2 to 7 years for vehicular manslaughter, plus 2 to 4 years for tampering with evidence.) That's when the judge added that one of the co-defendants -- later identified as Cuozzo -- had pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate against Sparks if he goes to trial. Cuozzo admitted to being part of a frantic series of events that morning that led to the crashed vehicle being hidden in some bushes on the city's North Side. Cuozzo's mother, Michelle Livingston, is mulling over a plea offer herself for tampering and conspiracy. And Cuozzo's father, Sylvester Livingston, still faces a misdemeanor charge, accused of calling in the crashed car as stolen as part of the cover-up. Sparks' sister, Lakeya, 39, was originally charged as part of the cover-up, but was later determined not to be criminally liable, prosecutor Frank Pelosi said. Lakeya was accused of driving Cuozzo around during the cover-up, but did not play a direct role herself. Miller, the judge, had set today as the deadline for Sparks to decide whether to take his plea offer or go to trial. But Sparks' lawyer couldn't make court, so Miller agreed to delay the decision until Wednesday. Sparks remains in jail. The other suspects are all free as the case continues. - (Black-on-white) |

A jailhouse informant testified that Medina admitted he sexually assaulted the baby while high on methamphetamine. The baby's mother, Lisa Montoya, also testified. She pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering a child. An unrelated family adopted the victim and her two siblings. The girl is now 4 and is doing well. |

was driving a silver 2002 Lexus GS300 when she hit 73-year-old

Ellwanger died approximately two hours after being transported to
the hospital with life-threatening injuries.Moreno was booked into Pima County Jail and faces one count of second-degree murder, one count of leaving the scene of a collision causing serious injury or death, and three counts of endangerment. building on the 1100 block of Lombard where he assaulted her.
The woman, who is from Spain, has been staying at the Women of

Charged With Homicide By Vehicle While DUI In West Mifflin Crash PITTSBURGH
(KDKA) — An Avalon man is behind bars, accused of driving drunk and
causing a crash that killed a 19-year-old girl last month. Robert
Darrisaw Jr. is accused of homicide by vehicle while driving
under the influence.Allegheny County Police said Darrisaw’s blood-alcohol content was twice the legal limit when he crashed into a car carrying three young women and killed one of them. Marlee Anne Hill’s life was cut tragically short on Sept. 23, 2018. The 19-year-old, who is from McKeesport, was riding in the backseat of the car that police said was hit by Darrisaw. According to police accident reconstruction experts, Darrisaw failed to negotiate a curve, driving through a grass median and hitting a large rock and a sign post before crashing into the side of the vehicle that Hill was riding in. violently attacking an employee after they were asked to leave,
according to police. The men were part of a group that was bowling
at Apollo Lanes, on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville, around 11:45 p.m.
Wednesday, police said.While they were bowling, the group became unruly and started causing a disturbance, officials said. They were asked to leave by a 28-year-old Roseville man who works at the bowling alley, police said. Several members of the group surrounded the bowling counter where the employee was standing, officials said. One man reached over the counter and punched the employee in the face while a second man stepped behind the counter and began to violently beat the employee, according to authorities. The first man picked up a bar stool during the fight and struck the employee on the head, police said. He then picked up a blue bowling ball and smashed the employee on the back of the head, according to officials. The second man punched and kicked the employee in the face and body, police said. When the employee fell to the ground, video shows the men continuing to kick him in the head. The employee was taken to a hospital for treatment. The second man is in his early 20s and has been identified by detectives. Louis WM, 36 shot in head by colored boy dies - soulless black

LOUIS – The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office charged a
17-year-old Thursday in connection with a murder that took place
earlier this month. According to Sgt. Keith Barrett, a spokesman for
the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the murder happened
around 9:50 a.m. Police found the victim, 36-year-old Jacob Hudson, at the scene with a gunshot wound. Hudson was pronounced dead at the scene. During their investigation, homicide detectives identified and apprehended the suspect in Hudson’s murder, Jarvis Campbell. Campbell was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. Aaron Lee, known as “Hix,” and his girlfriend were both
robbed, and then he was shot. It happened at about 10:30 p.m. Friday
in an active area of northeast Minneapolis. The couple was on their
way to the 331 Club where Hix’s band, the Red Daughters, was just
about to play a gig.Officers are looking for the person who did this. Hix is a server, electrician in training, and a keyboardist for the Red Daughters band. His bandmate and longtime friend Charles Murlowski says he is, “Talented, he can play any instrument he picks up. He’s just one of those guys that he’s got the magic touch with everything.” Friday night, he and his girlfriend were almost to a Red Daughters gig when someone robbed the couple. They gave the man their wallets, and then the suspect shot Hix in the stomach. doughnut shop in Northeast Philadelphia    PHILADELPHIA
(WPVI) -- Police are asking the public's help in identifying a woman
who drove into a group of people hanging out in front of Dunkin'
Donuts following an argument in Northeast Philadelphia. Surveillance
video captured the moment when the woman accelerated right toward
the group and plowed into a man in the group of friends, 29-year-old
Vince McCreary."Seeing the video, it just takes your breath away," said Philadelphia Police Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum. Police released surveillance images Thursday of the woman they say was behind the wheel. She was wearing scrubs and a work ID when she entered the Dunkin' Donuts at Roosevelt Boulevard and Welsh Road around 10:30 a.m. on October 6th. As she left the shop, police say the woman got into an argument with the group standing outside the front door. "There was some words exchanged about them standing in front of the door of the store," Rosenbaum said. Samantha Remer was there. She said the woman started making threats. "I said, 'Please, you don't have to throw coffee in my husband's face,' and she started calling me all types of names," Remer said. As the group walked away, police say, the woman got behind the wheel of a white Dodge Challenger with two black racing stripes and drove into McCreary, who suffered serious injuries. Action News spoke to McCreary by phone from the hospital to get his side of the story. "She came from behind us, flying up with her car. Tried to hit us all. I didn't see her coming and she hit me," McCreary said. "I thought I was going to die." Police spotted and impounded the car, which was being driven by a man, in Center City later the same day. So far, the car owner has refused to identify the woman, who is now wanted for aggravated assault. "So, we're looking for the public to step up and give us a little help in identifying this female," Rosenbaum said. Police say the owner of the car could face charges for interfering with the investigation and refusing to identify the woman driving his car. exposing himself to a young girl and touching her at a mall in
Moreno Valley on Monday. Surveillance video shows the suspect,
Juan Alvarez, fondling himself with one hand before
placing his other hand on a little girl at the Rio Rancho Mall.Eddie Puga, a security guard at the mall, said he was at his post when the young girl's mother approached him to notify him of the incident. "She said 'This guy just touched my daughter, and he was exposing himself,' and sure enough he was kind of picking his pants up," Puga said. Video shows the mother walking with her child through the store. Unbeknownst to them, Alvarez was following them. Alvarez turns down the aisle and encounters the mother and daughter with his pants down, exposing his genitals and fondling himself. The suspect is seen approaching the girl and touches her while continuing to fondle himself. The mother then ran up to the security guard to ask for help. "She was crying, and she was upset, she was shaking," Puga said. |

police have arrested a Torrington man who is accused of “performing
an act of sexual depravity” on a woman at a shop in Winsted.Police said 30-year-old Jean Leconte, of Torrington, is accused of approaching a woman in a local shop and “performing an act of sexual depravity on her while she was picking up items from the floor.” Leconte, who police said was previously arrested in connection with similar incidents in Fairfield and Trumbull, was identified by his picture in the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry. The sex offender registry said Laconte masturbated in public in department stores on numerous occasions between 2010 and 2013 and on at least two occasions masturbated and ejaculated on victims while their backs were turned toward him. |

Fort Wayne man was sentenced today to 40 years in prison for raping
a disabled woman.Jared L. Haynes, 48, denied the charges and said he would appeal the conviction. He also told Allen Superior Judge Fran Gull the victim and her family lied. "It is astonishing to me that you accuse these folks of lying to you," Gull told Haynes. A jury found Haynes guilty last month of two counts of rape. He was accused of raping a woman who has the mental capacity of a kindergartner in April. "No one ever dreamed you would hurt her," the woman's guardian testified today, looking at Haynes. "You turned her whole world upside down in just a few hours." |

Charged With Murder After Driving Off With Woman Atop His Car  IRVING
(CBSDFW.COM) – A man is in the Irving Jail, charged with murder
after surveillance video showed him driving off with a woman atop
his car who was found dead on North State Loop 12. Police said Xaziver Deshun Williams, 23, stole a backpack from the victim, April Vera’s room. As Williams was leaving the parking lot, police said Vera climbed onto the car. The 22-year-old woman eventually fell off the car onto the roadway and was killed, police said. Williams’ bond is set at $1,000,000. Police initially thought they were investigating a hit-and-run when they found Vera’s body on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. But surveillance video gave police more insight into how the young woman ended up in the middle of the roadway. |

spilled a cup of piping hot water, which the family had requested to
sterilize utensils, a family spokeswoman told The Post.Employees did not call 911 for over 20 minutes, the family’s attorney is now claiming. But Applebee’s is countering that security footage shows staffers acted “with urgency.” Customers at the Applebee’s on Friday agreed that the parents were the ones responsible for protecting the child from the hot water — and for getting him immediate aid. “It’s not their (Applebee’s) fault. She asked for the hot water… She should have been more aware of the child and the hot water,” Jennings said, adding, “I don’t understand how she can be suing them for a mistake she made.” |

New Jersey man wanted for killing a woman in her home has been added
to the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list. Lamont Stephenson is wanted
for the 2014 strangulation killing of Olga
DeJesus and her dog
in Newark, the FBI announced, saying that Newark police officers
found DeJesus and her dog unresponsive in bed at a residence.
Stephenson, 43 and a Newark resident, hasn't been seen in New Jersey
since the killing but is known to have contacts in Virginia and the
Carolinas. Stephenson is considered armed and dangerous. He is
described by the FBI as being between 5’6” to 5’7” and 220

former Atlanta police sergeant was indicted Wednesday on multiple
charges in connection with the shooting of a tourist near the
Georgia Dome in 2017. Mathieu Cadeau faces charges of
aggravated assault and reckless conduct as well as two counts of
violation of oath by a public officer, according to a statement from
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard’s office. Cadeau, 52, is
accused of shooting Noel Hall as the
North Carolina man left the Atlanta Supercross, one of the final

possible road rage shooting  OPA-LOCKA,
FLA. (WSVN) - Police have released new details regarding a fatal
shooting in what may have been a road rage incident in Opa-locka.
Miami-Dade Police have identified the victim of the shooting as
24-year-old Caleb Smith
and the suspect as 22-year-old Jahsie Mahoney.According to investigators, Mahoney and Smith were traveling eastbound on Northwest 135th Street when Mahoney got out of the car, pulled out a gun and shot Smith. Smith was rushed to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. Officers said Mahoney called 911 and stayed on the scene. He has been charged with second-degree murder and his being held without bond. - (Black-on-white) |

NEWARK,
N.J. -- A grieving daughter is looking for the man accused of
killing her mother. It's a man she never expected would turn her
life upside down. Family members say Olga Dejesus was head
over heels in love and engaged to be married to Lamont
Stephenson. She was the happiest they can remember. But
Essex County prosecutors and Newark police say the man she
planned to grow old with took her life. "Everything I do reminds
me of her. I couldn't look myself in the mirror, but I would
just see her," said Cassandra Dejesus, the victim's daughter. "I
feel like that wasn't supposed to happen, at least not that
way."
“There’s
no love in this world no more,” said the victim’s brother, who
did not reveal his name. “We tried to take a left-hand turn, and
some [explative] cut me off and shot my brother in the
head.”
