are searching for two suspects they believe were involved in the
stabbing of 17-year-old Jodie
Chesney in east London. Jodie died at the scene of
the attack in St Neot's Road, Harold Hill, at about 21:30 GMT on
Friday. The Metropolitan Police said Jodie had been playing music
with five other teenagers in a park when two males walked up to the
group and one stabbed her once in the back. They ran off
towards Retford Road. Officers said the pair had been seen in the
park about half an hour earlier but had not spoken to Jodie or her
group of friends. The force said Jodie's attacker was a black
male in his late teens but gave no further details, and said

Shreveport Negro convicted of multiple rapes while victim held
baby CADDO
PARISH, LA - A Shreveport man has been convicted of raping a woman
multiple times while she held her infant. On Friday, a Caddo Parish jury found 20-year-old Travionne Dewayne Bradley guilty of raping his victim, then aged 18, five times December 8, 2015. That was after he had pushed his way into the victim's home on Earl Street in the Caddo Heights neighborhood and armed with a handgun, had duct-taped her wrists and mouth. The trial began Monday, February 25, 2019, and the jury heard testimony from the victim, investigators, and a DNA analyst, and reviewed physical and DNA evidence. Deliberations Friday, March 1, 2019, lasted two hours, with the jury returning a verdict of guilty-as-charged on one count of first-degree rape and guilty of four counts of second-degree rape. Bradley will be sentenced on April 2 and faces life in prison. |

31-year-old man faces criminal charges after police found his four
sons — who are all 5 or younger and appeared to have
"limited contact" with the outside world — living in squalid conditions
at his South Dallas apartment. Robert Preston was booked
into the Dallas County jail late Saturday on four counts of
abandoning or endangering a child with the intent to return. Police
were called to the Rosemont at Meadow Lane apartments around 6:30
p.m. after a resident reported finding a young child running around
in a road at the complex. The 3-year-old boy was wearing a T-shirt
and shivering — the temperature at the time was around 40 degrees —
and had only one shoe, the woman told police. Police
determined that there was an active parole-violation warrant
out for Preston and arrested him.The door to Preston's apartment was unlocked, police said, and his three other sons — a 2-year-old, 5-year-old and the 3-year-old's twin brother — were sitting on the filthy floor. There was no furniture, no table or anywhere to eat other than the floor, and a number of open bottles of alcohol were on the floor. The entire home "reeked of feces," an officer wrote in the affidavit. Officers also noted that the kitchen sink was nearly overflowing with stagnant, opaque water that had food floating in it and "smelled like a dead animal," and that the toilets in both bathrooms did not look liked they'd been flushed in weeks, despite the apartment having working water. In one feces-laden closet, an officer found a malnourished puppy that didn't have access to food or water. "The children reacted to the dog as if they had never seen it before, screaming, and running around," the affidavit says. The officers observing the boys playing together wrote that their language patterns seemed "off" and that they primarily communicated with one another with gestures, body language and screams. They called one another "Robert" and did not know their own names |

Lamar Mayor Darnell Byrd McPherson, who reported that on
February 7 at 10 p.m. local time, someone sprayed her 2017 Symphony
Silver Hyundai Elantra Sport and her husband’s soft-top 1998 Buick
Roadmaster with a residue outside of their home. “My
husband went out to the car to get some things out of the garage,”
she told Newsweek. “He says, ‘Somebody’s painted your
car!’” The report went on to detail how the mayor and her husband streaked a finger over the tarnished parts surfacing the car and "realized it was not paint and that the substance could be removed with a finger; similar to pollen." She explained in the interview with Newsweek that there were no words or symbols drawn on the cars. Though the possibility was raised that the car’s mysterious coating could have been pollen and not the result of foul play, McPherson remained convinced someone was behind it. Kilgo explained that once the mayor was intent that she had been attacked, the local agency referred the matter to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division or SLED. SOUTH CAROLINA HATE CRIMES TASK FORCE WOULD NOT WASTE THEIR TIME ON IT.... “Due the suspicion from her of it being a hate crime, we couldn’t say no,” he said. entice middle school students for sex at a METRO bus stop. Police
arrested 52-year-old Byron Garrick and he is being charged
with criminal solicitation of a minor.Garrick tried luring several students towards him by throwing money in their direction at the Kashmere Transit Center. "These were some very smart kids that did not take the bait he was trying to entice them with," said METRO Police Chief Vera Bumpers. METRO Police heard about this through a bus driver who reported what she saw. They were able to identify the kids through Houston ISD and in turn, those kids were able to identify Garrick. Garrick has several prior convictions including Indecency with a Child dating back to 2015. He is also on parole and police say he was wearing an ankle monitor at the time of the incident at the bus stop. |

N.C. — A Mecklenburg County detention officer was charged with
second-degree rape and second-degree sexual assault, according to
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. CMPD said Vanquez D. Petty
met a 19-year-old woman on Thursday, and they exchanged phone
numbers. When they met later that evening, the woman said Petty
attacked her. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. Petty was

crimes committed during time with Fresno church
FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Fresno Police have arrested an Anglican
Church priest for a series of sex crimes during his more than a
decade with the local church. Jesus Antonio Castaneda Serna
was arrested early Sunday at the Central Fresno church he started --
Holy Spirit. 22 parishioners have come forward to say they'd been
victimized by the Anglican Priest but according to police many of
the victims are undocumented and afraid to report the crimes to law
enforcement. "He would be facing a maximum of 11 years and six
months. That's why is so important for others to come forward and
talk to law enforcement," said District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp. Two victims did speak to detectives and say Serna would invite them to his Shaw Avenue office where he would perform what he called a "healing ritual" that involved a massage table, oils and would then turn into sexual contact. The two male adult victims said Serna told them the repeated rituals would remove a curse or earn them forgiveness for their sins. Detectives dug into Serna's history and found he came to Fresno from Washington state, where he was a Catholic priest from 1997 to 2006 at St. Juan Diego in the town of Cowiche. |

Victoria Azarigian while the two were in a car riding
down Augusta Road on February 21. A passenger and the driver
told deputies Henry threatened to kill the woman, then shot her. Henry
was taken into custody a short time after the shooting and charged
the next day with attempted murder and possessing a weapon during a
violent crime. After Azarigian died, investigators sought new

New Jersey man is accused of stabbing his neighbor to death outside
his home. Jeffrey Vasquez-Calderon, 37, of East
Windsor, is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an
unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.On Wednesday around 8:30 a.m., police responded to the home of Luis Sanchez on Bennington Drive in East Windsor. When they arrived they found Sanchez on the back patio area of the home suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say Sanchez and Vasquez-Calderon were acquaintances who both lived on the first block of Bennington Drive. Prior to Sanchez’s death, the two men left a nearby liquor store and lounge together, according to officials. After they both returned to Sanchez’s home, Vasquez-Calderon allegedly stabbed him several times with a knife. Vasquez-Calderon was arrested Friday and is currently behind held in Essex County on an ICE detainer, officials said. He will eventually be brought to Mercer County and the prosecutor’s office will file a motion to have him detained pending trial. |

Charges say that the victims met Johnson on the 300 block of Bluff Drive for a business transaction involving cellphones. Johnson attempted to steal the property, causing an auto accident, charges say, and he then shot both victims in the head. Four shell casings were found inside the car, charges say. According to the charges, Johnson admitted the killings to police. Afterward, he and an accomplice stole the victims’ property, charges say. The accomplice has not been charged, police said. The couple’s family called police on Nov. 30 and said it was not like the couple to leave without a word. That victim in that case told police he had asked the teens to turn down the music they were playing on the train before they attacked him at the Lloyd Center stop. The victim's jaw was broken in two places and he lost several teeth in the attack. His wife and 10-year-old daughter witnessed the attack. Rogersville Woman Sentenced for 2017 Murder of (White) Man  TANEY
COUNTY, Mo. - A Rogersville woman has been sentenced in connection
to a 2017 murder case. Najee Donson pleaded guilty to
voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action. She was sentenced
to 18 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the
voluntary manslaughter charge and 10 years for the armed criminal
action charge. Donson previously pleaded guilty to involuntary
manslaughter, but the judge rejected the plea agreement. The
original charge was second-degree murder. Donson was accused of
shooting Chad Deadmond,
32, in the face during an argument in June 2017. The incident
happened near Highway 65 and Rose O'Neil Road, north of Branson.

(CBS) — A man was arrested in December for the 1988 murder of a
Philadelphia woman. Charles Maitland was arrested in
Fayetteville, North Carolina, on Dec. 21 for the murder of Debra
Wiggins. Maitland was Wiggins’ ex-boyfriend, according
to Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. Wiggins’ body was
found down an embankment off the southbound lanes of Route 309 in
Lower Gwynedd Township on Nov. 1, 1988. She was suffocated. More
than 30 years later, the arrest offers possible closure for Wiggins’
family. Maitland claims he doesn’t know anything about Wiggins’
murder, but police aren’t buying it. “The victim, Ms. Wiggins and
the defendant were living together in Philadelphia at the
time. That’s where she was last seen,” said Anthony Voci, the chief
of Philadelphia DA’s Office Homicide Unit. Maitland was also
involved with the 1989 death of his landlord. Police say
Ronald Alston was found strangled on April 21, 1989, in the same
area where Wiggins’ body was found. |

money to the men. She was forced to ingest drugs, deprived of food
and sleep, and was physically assaulted during a four-day period,
the police report.Charlton Sealy 35, was arrested on nine charges, and Shabaka Reid, 36, was arrested on six charges, including sexual assault, child pornography, and trafficking someone under 18 years-old. obtained a warrant and arrested him Tuesday morning at ECMC.
Detectives were able to interview her Monday night. She told

Brooklyn DA Eric "Gordo" Gonzalez plans to announce
Friday that he’ll become the first in the state to support giving
driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. “I have placed a
strong emphasis on road safety, which undoubtedly improves when all
drivers are properly licensed, road-tested and insured, and when all
vehicles are subject to inspection,” he said in a statement.
Gonzalez argued that licensed drivers are more likely to follow the
law. There is already state legislation pending, and the Fiscal
Policy Institute estimates 265,000 immigrants would be eligible to
apply if the measure passes. Twelve states plus the District of
Columbia already allow undocumented immigrants to get driver’s
licenses. |

Hispanic, 2 Mexican Victims killed driving around railroad

A manager at the Fine Fare Supermarket on Old Country Road in
Westbury identified the victims as Jesus
Hernandez, Miguel Luna and Saul Martinez.
Hernandez, a native of Mexico, worked as a dairy manager at
the grocery store, while Luna and Martinez worked in the meat
department. Martinez was from El Salvador and Luna was from
Mexico, the store manager said. The trio of men were inside
the vehicle, driven by Martinez, Tuesday night when it got into a
minor accident with another car and then went around the security
gate onto the train tracks. While on the tracks at the Westbury grade-level crossing, the truck was struck by a Hicksville-bound train carrying 800 people — and seconds later, it was hit by a Penn Station-bound train carrying about 200 people, traveling in the opposite direction. deadly Niles shooting Sunday morning  NILES,
Ohio - Niles police are investigating after a shooting early Sunday
morning left one woman dead. Niles police report the victim is
33-year-old Britney Ann Mazanec.
Police said the incident happened at the Hideaway Lounge bar and
grill on Route 422 at around 2:30 am. The suspect has been
identified as Ryan Mykel Daniels, 28. Daniels
was booked into the Trumbull County Jail just before 10 am Sunday on
a charge of reckless homicide. Daniels bond has been set at

Carolina  GREENVILLE,
South Carolina -- A (black) South Carolina man whose allegded "act
of kindness" toward some local Girl Scouts made him a viral hero has
just as quickly fallen from grace after his arrest on drug
trafficking charges. The photo of the man buying $540 worth of
cookies so the girls could get out of the cold was shared thousands
of times. The man first bought seven boxes of cookies from the girls
outside a store near Greenville, S.C., then came by again and bought
the rest so they wouldn't have to stand outside shivering. He posed
for pictures with the (little White) girls but no one got his name.But authorities knew who he was. The man, now identified as Detric Lee McGowan - known as "Fat" - was arrested by federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents on Tuesday, according to South Carolina station WSPA. Authorities accuse him of multiple drug trafficking charges, saying he and nine others named in a 22-count federal indictment were involved in smuggling heroin, cocaine and fentanyl to the United States from Mexico. He's also accused with three others of trying to smuggle more than $1 million cash out of the country. |
