Rep. Dan Crenshaw blasted Minnesota’s freshman Democrat Ilhan
Omar for describing the 9/11 terror attacks as “some
people did something.”“First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as ‘some people who did something,'” Crenshaw, of Texas, wrote in a tweet. “Unbelievable.” In a speech last month at a fundraiser for the (5th column) Council on American-Islamic Relations, Omar urged Muslim Americans to “make people uncomfortable” with their activism and brought up the al Qaeda attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people. “CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties,” said Omar, one of two Muslim women serving in Congress. Others besides Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL who lost an eye while fighting in Afghanistan, denounced Omar’s comments. “Ilhan Omar isn’t just anti-Semitic — she’s anti-American. Nearly 3,000 Americans lost their lives to Islamic terrorists on 9/11, yet Omar diminishes it as: ‘Some people did something.’ Democrat leaders need to condemn her brazen display of disrespect,” wrote Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel on Twitter. |

Police said Wednesday afternoon that they were interviewing him and would book him into the Douglas County Jail afterward. He is accused of killing Dylan M. Kenney early Sunday near 13th and Center Streets. Kenney was found by police officers with multiple stab wounds in his chest. He later died at Nebraska Medical Center. after attempting to sell a gold Ford Contour, the vehicle seen in
surveillance images released by investigators, on Craigslist. Sloan
has been charged with second-degree assault in the March 24

a traumatic brain injury and severe hearing loss after he
was attacked with a baseball bat. Pieczynski continues to
recover at Harborview Medical Center. Sloan is facing his third
strike if he is convicted in the assault and will face a life
sentence. That's because he has prior convictions for two
counts of first-degree robbery in King County and one count of
attempted bank robbery. |

and sexually assaulting a girl more than eight years
ago did so with the active participation of the girl’s day care
provider, according to court documents filed Monday.Robert F. Jones, 46 — who’s been with the police department for nearly 12 years — had sex with the girl three times and sexually assaulted her on another occasion, said a criminal complaint filed in Newport News Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court. Kristi Lynn Cline, 43 — who police say ran the day care business out of her home in the 1200 block of Springwell Place, off Denbigh Boulevard in Denbigh — turned herself in on Monday night and was charged with eight counts related to the investigation. Cline is charged with with two counts of object sexual penetration, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, three counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and one count of carnal knowledge. In 2008, when the the girl was 12 years old, her mother hired Cline to watch her after school, according to a criminal complaint filed by Police Detective Kathryn L. Riley. The woman who said she was assaulted, now 22 years old, reported the incidents to the Williamsburg police last June, triggering a 10-month investigation by the Newport News police. According to Riley’s complaint, Jones was a sexfriend of Cline’s, “and would frequently stop by the residence to visit.” That’s how he met the (innocent virgin) girl, Riley wrote. The complaint said that on two occasions between 2008 and 2009 — when the girl was still 12 — Jones had sex with her as Cline took part in the sexual activity. Another time, the complaint said, Jones and Cline were having sex and had the girl participate. |

A Mexican national accused of killing four people in Kansas and one
in Missouri in 2016 died Tuesday after being found unresponsive in
his St. Louis jail cell. Pablo Serrano-Vitorino was
found alone in his cell at 2:02 a.m.He was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later, said Koran Addo, spokesman for St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson. No further details were released. The state attorney general's office has recommended that he get a four-year prison term when he's sentenced July 2. good Samaritan was fatally shot over the weekend while handing out
$20 bills and paying for meals at a Florida restaurant, according to
police. Police arrested Ezekiel Hicks, 25, on murder charges
early Sunday morning in the death of 41-year-old
Craig Brewer, who was shot and killed at a Waffle
House, in Gainesville, Florida, located just a few miles west of the
University of Florida.Officials with the Alachua County Sheriff's Office said the restaurant's surveillance camera captured an altercation between the two on video. Witnesses said they saw the victim arguing with a female acquaintance of the suspect, who was reportedly upset because Brewer's generosity didn't include her. Hicks intervened and got into a physical altercation with the victim, police said. At one point, Hicks left the Waffle House and retrieved a 9mm Glock pistol, which was later recovered at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. The altercation "lasted only a few seconds" and ended with Hicks firing multiple shots towards the victim's head, killing him on the scene, the sheriff's office said. |

Man wanted following stabbing death of (white) girlfriend in

Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who police said
stabbed and killed his girlfriend in Pitcairn on Sunday. Allegheny
County police said they were called to the 600 block of Broadway
Boulevard around 6 p.m. for a report of a woman stabbed. The victim
was found on a porch on Hillside Avenue and taken to the hospital
where she died. Police say that during their investigation they
learned the victim was involved in an argument with her boyfriend, Derrick
Avant, 59, during which police say Avant stabbed the victim
and ran off. The victim was identified by the Allegheny County
Medical Examiner's Office on Monday morning as Alison

Woman dead, (BLACK) man charged after Rockbridge County deputies
find victim shot in car wreck  ROCKBRIDGE
COUNTY, Va. - A woman is dead and a man is facing second-degree
murder charges after Rockbridge County deputies found the woman shot
in a wrecked car, according to the Rockbridge County Sheriff's
Office. Authorities say they received a call around 5:40 p.m.
Friday reporting that a woman was being held at gunpoint at a home
in the Collierstown area around the 100 block of Hayslette
Road. Before deputies arrived, the suspect, Charles Holman,
a 47-year-old man from Madison Heights, stole a car and left the
scene. A responding deputy was flagged down by people at a car wreck in the 3600 block of Collierstown Road, about 5 miles from where the victim was reportedly being held at gunpoint. The deputy found two women in the wrecked car, one of whom had a gunshot wound. The deputy and the other woman started CPR. The victim was taken to Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital but she died from her injuries. She was later identified as Christina Martin, 38, from Buena Vista. An investigation revealed that Martin and Holman were in a domestic relationship. Authorities believe Holman abducted the second woman in an attempt to lure Martin to his location. Authorities say Martin ran away from the scene once she found out that Holman was there. Deputies believe that Holman chased her and caused Martin to crash before he shot her. |

Man sexually assaulted woman, left her unconscious in street BROKEN
ARROW, Okla. — Broken Arrow police have arrested a man who they say
sexually assaulted a woman and then left her unconscious in the
street. Officers said they responded to the 1700 block of North
Firewood Avenue at 1 a.m. on Tuesday. Police say the suspect, Franklin Atkinson, 28, met the victim at a bar in the 1300 block of North Aspen. He offered to give her a ride home, and the woman said when she got into his vehicle, he sexually assaulted her. Police said Atkinson drove the woman to the location on Firewood Avenue and struck her once, which left her unconscious. He left her in the street and drove off in a light-colored sedan, police said. Once the victim regained consciousness, police said she crawled to a nearby home for help. Atkinson was located just a few blocks away. He was arrested on felony counts of aggravated assault and battery, sexual battery and a misdemeanor charge of interfering with an emergency call. |

Mass. — Officials at North Shore Community College are investigating
after a woman said a man was on the floor watching her when she was
in a bathroom stall. College officials said a faculty member
reported that at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday she was in the women’s bathroom
on the second floor of Lynn McGee Building when she saw a man on the
ground in the stall next to her staring at her while she was in the
bathroom stall. North Shore Community College officers heard the
woman yell for help and tried to stop the man, but he was able to
flee before officers could get him into custody.North Shore Community College police and Lynn police were able to identify the man and college police will be taking out a warrant for his arrest, the college said. Anyone who sees the man should not approach him and contact law enforcement, police said. |

police released more details Thursday about an incident in which
they say two East Texas men raped a woman with a mental disability
at a Bellmead hotel in February. With help from the U.S. Marshals
Service, Bellmead officers arrested Mark Lipscomb, 44, of
Omaha, Texas, on Tuesday, and Aundre Leron Walker, 39, of
New Boston, turned himself in Wednesday at McLennan County Jail,
each on a first-degree felony charge of aggravated sexual assault,
according to a press release from Sgt. Brenda Kinsey. Police were
called to a hotel in the 700 block of North Interstate 35 at about
1:30 p.m. Feb. 13, and a 25-year-old woman reported Lipscomb and
Walker had raped her, Kinsey said. They had provided a "substance
capable of impairing" her mental ability, and she later tested
positive for a drug, according to an arrest affidavit. The document
does not identify the drug. |

sexually assaulting a female student at an elementary school
playground in Torrance, police announced Monday. The girl told one

166th Street, last Thursday morning, according to a Torrance Police
Department news release. The parent reported the incident to
Torrance Unified School District officials, who then contacted
police. Investigators began looking into the case as an alleged
indecent exposure incident, according to the release. Authorities
reviewed surveillance footage during the preliminary investigation,
where they discovered the suspect — identified as 31-year-old Dalan
Johnson — had been on campus less than a minute, police said. |

15-year-old girl in New Jersey and sexually attacked
her in a minivan -- the woman holding the girl down throughout the

officials said. Oscar Baker and Stephanie Charles fled the tri-state area, taking a train out of Penn Station in Newark to the south, after the March 16 attack in Union County, the U.S. Marshals Service said Monday. Woman says she was attacked and assaulted outside Little Rock

He was arrested by Little Rock Police and faces a number of charges. Kendra Golden says she came face to face with Coleman as he was going through her car. She jumped into action and stopped him before he ran towards War Memorial Stadium. Now's she trying to get back to her normal life after injuries to her hand and fingers. "If I accidentally hit something it will make me cry," Golden said. Kendra Golden says she's still in pain. "I can't even open bottles right now," Golden said. She says it all started after a chaotic field trip to the Little Rock Zoo Friday. "It was my son's very first time to ever go to the zoo," Golden said. Golden says she forgot something in her car and ran back to the parking lot. "I kind of stopped when I noticed my passenger door was open and my trunk," Golden said. She says she saw Curtis Coleman going through her stuff. "He threw his hands up in the air and said I didn't take nothing," Golden said. Golden said she screamed for help and Coleman started to run towards War Memorial Stadium. Golden says she grabbed Coleman's shirt. "I didn't even feel him bit me," Golden said. She says adrenaline kicked in and she fought back. "He was about 6 foot tall. He's twice my size at the only thing that I came out with was a broken finger and a bite on my finger," Golden said. Little Rock Police arrived and Coleman was taken to jail. "When they did arrest him had a string of over 30 plus keys on him for different vehicles that he would use to jiggle locks," Coleman said. Golden took to Facebook live and shared the madness. "I had a lot of people say I'm brave, I'm a hero," Golden said. Scarred from the experience Golden says she won't be visiting the zoo anytime soon. "It's supposed to be a safe haven and it turned into a living day time nightmare," Golden said. Golden says she's now left with more than a thousand dollars in medicine, blood work and doctor visits from Gurdon to Little Rock. Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman wanted for a 2017 murder was arrested
Saturday morning while naked
and waving a gun inside of a busy South Nashville restaurant, Metro
police say. Montessa Tate-Thornton, 19, was taken into
custody at the Waffle House on Harding Place near I-24 on charges
including public indecency and public intoxication.Police said they responded to a report of a naked man and woman with a weapon inside of the business. When officers arrived, they said they observed Tate-Thornton wearing no clothing inside the Waffle House, which was open for business, and waving around a gun while acting erratically. Tate-Thornton was "screaming, sweating excessively and making incoherent statements," an arrest report states. Police said the 19-year-old admitted she had used marijuana and cocaine. The other naked suspect allegedly involved in the same incident was identified as Larico Nixon, 34, and he was charged with public indecency, public intoxication and being a felon in possession of a weapon, authorities said. Police stated Nixon was observed running with a gun, also wearing no clothing, and chasing Tate-Thornton, while admittedly under the influence of marijuana, cocaine and crack cocaine. Once Tate-Thornton was in custody, investigators said they discovered she was wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the December 10, 2017 shooting death of 23-year-old Maxime Assem. Assem was killed during a robbery at University Court Apartments, police said. James Gilchrist, accused of firing the fatal shot, was arrested in March on charges of first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and unlawful gun possession by a convicted felon. Police said Tate-Thornton knew Assem and conspired with Gilchrist, 26, to rob him. |

Suspect arrested in killing of man outside Las Vegas bar LAS
VEGAS (KSNV) — A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a
deadly stabbing reported last month outside a Las Vegas bar. Las
Vegas Metropolitan Police say Reshard Vargas was taken into
custody and booked into Clark County Detention Center on Tuesday,
April 2, in connection with the case. No other details on the
investigation were provided. Officers responded Saturday, March 23,
to a report of a man bleeding on the side of a building in the 900
block of N. Las Vegas Boulevard, near Stateside Lounge. A spokesman
for LVMPD described the stabbing as an apparently random act of
violence. The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the man

26-year-old Milwaukee man was charged Friday with first-degree
reckless injury-use of a dangerous weapon for allegedly stabbing a
60-year-old parking enforcement officer who ticketed the man's
cousin's car, according to a criminal complaint. Tony
Bornes Jr. beat, kicked and stabbed the officer about 2:30
a.m. March 29 in the 5200 block of North 67th Street, where the
vehicle was blocking a sidewalk, according to the complaint.The officer, who had been assaulted previously during his 22 years with the Department of Public Works, suffered three stab wounds to his right flank, one which nicked his liver, causing internal bleeding that required exploratory surgery, according to the complaint. Another man who did not participate in the attack was with Bornes. Prosecutors on Friday charged Isaac J. Ali, 21, of Milwaukee with obstructing an officer. Ali told a detective that he was asleep during the assault, but investigators later realized Ali was with Bornes during the stabbing. After Ali and Bornes left the scene, the parking officer was able to drive to the 4th District police station, where he collapsed after noticing he was bleeding and realized he had been stabbed, according to the complaint. Bornes, who has a past conviction for battery, also faces a previous charge of possession of cocaine. |

SC (WBTW) - Randall Scott Watson and Jodi Breanna
Holden were arrested by the Darlington County Sheriff's
Office after a toddler was taken to the hospital for severe
injuries. Both are currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell
Detention Center in Darlington. Holden is the mother of the
(dead) little boy. Investigators with the Special Victims Unit
are investigating the case and plan to seek unlawful conduct towards
a child charges. According to the autopsy, the cause of the
child's death was blunt force
trauma to the head. Investigators also reportedly
discovered that he had old signs
of abuse and say the suspects failed to seek medical

The men, who were members of the Gangster Disciples street gang, killed 33-year-old Christopher Dean at an Atlanta home after discovering that he was once a police witness in California, authorities said. Investigators said Dean was tortured, sodomized and shot twice in the back of the head before his body was stuffed into the trunk of a Toyota Camry and left at the H.E. Holmes MARTA station. Prosecutors said Lockett lured Dean to a home he shared with his brother on Sandy Creek Drive in October 2016 under the guise that he was there for a drug transaction. Several men then attacked Dean, beating him with a 2-by-4 and a crowbar for more than an hour in an effort to “show other gang members that working as a police witness would not be tolerated,” the DA’s office said. Investigators also said Dean was sodomized with a handle-like object and that seminal fluid was discovered inside his rectal cavity. Rooks then drove from the scene to pick up two men —Green and Lamar Almon — who he paid to clean up the murder scene and dispose of Dean’s body, prosecutors said. was killed by a car in Randolph County on March 15, and now Highway
Patrol has arrested a man they believe is responsible.Tracey Bryant Cheek, 37, of Ramseur, was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony hit and run resulting in a fatality, driving while license revoked for an impaired driving revocation and failing to report an accident by the quickest means necessary. He was brought to Randolph County Jail and received a $150,000 secured bond. Bullins, a 28-year-old from Asheboro, was fatally hit at about 9:19 p.m. March 15 on U.S. Highway 64 near Loflin Pond Road. Bullins was trying to cross U.S. Highway 64 when he was hit by a silver vehicle that left the scene, according to a Highway Patrol press release. Another vehicle, a Nissan car, hit Bullins before the roadway was closed and the driver left the scene, according to authorities. That driver later returned and was charged. The victim’s mother told FOX8 that Bullins was a kind-hearted person who leaves behind three daughters and one son. Darrin Bullins’ brother, Dustin, said the crash happened as Darrin was going to the store after finishing dinner at their father’s home. “He had just turned his life around, he was doing so good, he was working, getting his life together and now he is gone forever,” Dustin said. “I’ll never be able to speak with my brother again because of someone else’s carelessness.” - (Black-on-white) |

19-year-old James Stephan Phillips, of Cedar Rapids, was
charged with murder in the first degree. Phillips was also charged
with first-degree theft, conspiracy to commit a forcible felony and
going armed with intent. Police say Phillips was already booked in
the Linn County Jail on non-related charges.Investigators determined Phillips was allegedly a passenger in the backseat of a vehicle Harris was in. Phillips was allegedly armed with a firearm and shot Harris from the backseat, killing him. Phillips then, allegedly shot Harris two more times, after pushing him out of the vehicle and stole Harris’ wallet and cellphone. connection with the Valentine's Day shooting death of his wife.
Christopher Ray Jones, who told police the shooting was
accidental, was indicted in the shooting death of his wife, Olivia
Jones, on February 14, 2019, at their home in the
5500 block of Pine Burr. Officers found Olivia Jones' body on
a bedroom floor after responding to a shooting call at the home.

death.Jones told police a disturbance started after he had threatened his wife with divorce. At some point a loaded handgun was (magically) "produced". While the two fought over the gun it went off hitting her in the back of the head he told investigators. Xu, spiking her water. Xu, 34, was arrested
on March 28 and has been charged with three felonies: premeditated
attempted murder and two counts of poisoning with enhancement. The
last two counts stem from suffering experienced by Yuan's
relatives, who drank from her water bottle after she brought
it home from the office. All three alleged victims' blood samples
contained elevated levels of cadmium. Xu, also an engineer,
