Mass. — A pregnant woman’s pained screams could be heard in a Quincy
courtroom Thursday as Judge Mark Coven watched a video that
prosecutors say shows the woman being beaten by two Quincy teenagers
outside a downtown post office. The Patriot Ledger reported that
after watching the video, Coven ruled that the two defendants, Tyrese
D. Johnson-Nurse, 19, and David D. Russell, 18, could pose a
danger to the public and ordered that they adhere to additional
conditions, including wearing a GPS monitor, if released. The two
had been held behind bars since their arrest Tuesday on charges of
aggravated assault and battery on
a pregnant woman and assault and battery. “This is two guys involved in a very brutal incident,” Coven said from the bench. ”(Russell) was beating the hell out of this poor pregnant woman.” The victim, Leanne Hindy, said she remembered being thrown to the ground quickly and suddenly.Police said she was walking with her boyfriend at about 6 p.m. Tuesday when she felt sick because of her pregnancy and began to throw up outside the post office at 47 Washington St. Johnson-Nurse and Russell were laughing at her and spit on her. Police said the teenagers got into the couple’s faces and began punching the woman in the head as she screamed that she was pregnant. The men also attacked the boyfriend, who stepped in to defend his girlfriend, police said. Hindy told police that Russell had kicked her in the stomach and said, “I hope he dies.” (ATTEMPTED MURDER OF PREBORN WHITE BABY) Hindy said she cannot understand what triggered the violence. She was grateful for the good Samaritans who came to help. "Thank God for the citizens, if it wasn't for them I don't know if I would be ok," Hindy said. car denied bond   ANDERSON,
SC (FOX Carolina) – The Anderson County Coroner’s Office said
a teen was found shot to death in a car at an Anderson apartment
complex Thursday morning. Deputy Coroner Don McCown said the victim
was found at Anderson Crossing Apartments on E. Beltline Boulevard.
The victim was identified as Hunter
Eston Sizemore, 19. Sizemore was from
Pendleton and, per the coroner, did not live at the apartment
complex. McCown said Thursday the death is being investigated as a
homicide. On Friday, April 12, Anderson police announced they made
an arrest in Sizemore's killing. APD said 26-year-old Jaleel
Terrance Moore of Williamston was arrested for the shooting,
and has since been charged with murder and possession of a firearm
during a violent crime.Warrants released by APD say Moore allegedly used a handgun and was positively identified by a witness. Moore was denied bond at his hearing in Anderson Saturday morning. Both his, and Sizemore's families were in attendance. - (Black-on-white) |

TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Allegheny County Police have issued an arrest
warrant for a suspect in connection with Wednesday night’s fatal
shooting in Stowe Township. A warrant has been issued for
18-year-old Tomichael Sherrell. He is accused in the fatal
shooting of 23-year-old Bradley
Lucier of McKees Rocks. According to police, Sherrell
allegedly attempted to rob Lucier inside a home on Dohrman Street in
Stowe Township. A shot was fired during the incident and Lucier was
struck in the neck by the bullet.He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. Sherrell is described as being 6-foot-1-inch tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He is facing criminal homicide charges. - (Black-on-white) |

VEGAS (FOX5) - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrested a suspect in
the Mar. 26 murder of a man in the east valley. Kejuan
Davis, 21, faces charges of murder and attempted murder. Just before 11 p.m. March 26, a caller reported their friend had been shot, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Police responded to the scene in the neighborhood northeast of East Tropicana Avenue and South Nellis Boulevard. The victim, identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as Randy Griffin, 31, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Metro said. The coroner determined the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso, and ruled his death a homicide. Another man was at the scene with Griffin during the shooting, but wasn't injured, police said. Police later said the two victims were riding their bikes when they encountered a group of men walking on Sacks Drive. For an immediately unknown reason, one of the men pulled out a rifle and shot at the victims as they rode away. Police arrested Davis Wednesday after they responded to a fight on the 2500 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. They found bench warrants on an unrelated event, arrested him, then told homicide detectives he was in custody, before booking him for murder. - (Black-on-white) |

(CBSLA) — A naked 29-year-old man brandishing a knife was shot and
killed by a security guard after a bizarre series of events Sunday
afternoon in which he reportedly plowed his car into a Palmdale fast
food restaurant, and then stabbed an elderly man at an adjoining
eatery. The incident played out at around 4:30 p.m. in the area of
25th Street and East Avenue S.It began when the suspect, crashed his car into into the wall of a Carl’s Jr. restaurant, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He then got out and ran across the street to a nearby McDonald’s, during which time he undressed completely. Deputies said the man, now naked, entered the McDonald’s and stabbed an 88-year-old man who was eating with his grandson. As the suspect was coming out of the McDonald’s, he was confronted by an armed security guard, the sheriff’s department said. When he tried to assault the guard, the guard shot him at least once, hitting him in the upper torso, deputies said. Both the suspect and the stabbed customer were taken to local hospitals. The suspect was pronounced dead, while the stabbing victim was listed in stable condition and was expected to survive, officials at the scene told CBS2. - (Drudge) |

South Carolina father is being accused by police of letting
his 1-year-old daughter burn to death inside the back
of his flaming vehicle while trying to flee officers on foot after a
highway chase.Imhotep Osiris Norman, 26, of Spartanburg, is now facing a homicide by child abuse charge stemming from the incidents alleged to have unfolded Friday. If convicted on the felony charge, he could be sentenced anywhere from 20 years to life in prison, The State newspaper reports. The South Carolina Highway Patrol says officers first attempted to pull over Norman at around 10 p.m. in Greenville County after he was clocked doing 67 mph in a 45 mph zone. When Norman reportedly failed to stop, they gave chase and noticed that smoke and sparks were coming from his vehicle while it was barreling along Interstate-85. The car eventually caught fire and Norman abandoned it, taking off on foot, according to Fox Carolina. The station reported firefighters who arrived on-scene shortly afterward extinguished the blaze and found the body of a toddler in the car’s back seat. Spartanburg County Coroner Rusty Clevenger identified the victim as Xena Rah'Lah Norman, the suspect’s 1-year-old daughter. Norman later was tracked down and arrested by police, and a bag that he allegedly threw out of his car’s window during the pursuit was found to contain illegal drugs, Fox Carolina reported. - (NNN Burned Alive!) |

Aurora West dean arrested again after posting bond DENVER
— The dean of Aurora West College Preparatory Academy who is accused
of bringing a gun to the school and threatening staff was
arrested again shortly after posting bond. Tushar Rae
posted his $200,000 bond Wednesday.On Saturday morning, court records showed Rae had been arrested again on Friday and was being held in the Denver County jail. The Denver Police Department said Rae was arrested for felony menacing and false imprisonment. Police said the Denver case is separate from the Aurora case. However, it would not elaborate on the circumstances that led to Rae being charged. According to the affidavit for the Aurora West case, Rae, 30, had an argument with principal Taya Tselolikhin on April 2 because he felt like he was “not receiving acknowledgement and recognition he felt he was owed.” The next day, Rae did not show up for work but allegedly texted Tselolikhin around 2 p.m. asking her to meet him in his office. When they got to his office, he shut the door and pulled out his handgun, put it on the desk and said “Try to f— with me,” according to the affidavit. “You shouldn’t have said what you said. I don’t want to hurt you, I’m going to hurt all the people around you,” he threatened, according to the affidavit. Rae then allegedly threatened to “shoot the knee caps off” two other school administrators, adding that he had two extra rounds in his pocket. Following the threat, the affidavit said that two students came to his office, at which point he put the gun away and they had a brief conversation with them before Tselolikhin also left. She put the school on lockdown and Rae was later taken into custody at his home without incident. |

POINT, N.C. — A High Point dentist lost her license after two
patients died, according to a Final Agency Decision report from the
N.C. Board of Dental Examiners.Shawana Neopi Patterson, who was first licensed in 2011, was an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at her practice Patterson Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in High Point. The dentist reportedly took little action when one patient reportedly turned "bluish-gray," and only called EMS for a second patient once she had no pulse. The report revealed two cases in which patients provided medical histories that indicated they should have only undergone surgery under emergencies. Nevertheless, the dentist was accused of conducting the surgery without regard for those histories, administering "excessive" levels of sedatives and not taking proper action to prevent the patients from dying. The board found the dentist responsible for acts of malpractice and negligence, and they determined the root cause was not a lack of training and that further training could not remediate her violations. The board also reported that she "failed to demonstrate genuine remorse or accept full responsibility for her violations." Patterson allegedly told employees to fake patient records to hide the violations and avoid responsibility. |

Balcony Was ‘Looking for Someone to Kill’: Complaint
  The
man charged with throwing a 5-year-old boy off a third-floor balcony
at the Mall of America told police he was angry at being rejected by
women at the Minnesota mall and was “looking for someone to kill”
when he went there last week, according to a criminal complaint
Monday. Emmanuel Aranda, 24, of Minneapolis, is charged with
attempted premeditated first-degree murder in Friday’s attack . The
child plunged almost 40 feet and is fighting for his life in a
Minneapolis hospital with head trauma and multiple broken bones.Aranda has two past convictions for assaults at the mall, both in 2015, including one in which he threw a glass of water and glass of tea at a woman who refused to buy him something. Aranda at one point was banned from the mall. Court records show that Aranda had been ordered to undergo psychological evaluation or treatment after the earlier mall assaults. The boy’s mother told police that Aranda came up very close to
her group as they stood outside the Rainforest Cafe restaurant.
She said she asked him if they were in his way and should move,
and he picked up the child without warning and threw him off the
balcony, according to the complaint. |

man armed with a knife and wooden stick was shot dead by a Bronx cop
after a Taser failed to subdue him, police said Monday.Two cops responded to a 911 harassment call at Hill House, a social services center for people struggling with addiction and other issues, on Grand Ave. in Morris Heights around 10:50 p.m. Sunday. When they reached the building’s fourth floor and confronted the 32-year-old suspect ― a resident identified by friends as Kawaski Trawick — he charged them, a large knife in one hand and a long stick, similar to a stickball bat, in the other, police said. One officer fired his Taser. The electric jolt slowed Trawick momentarily, but as the officers moved to take him into custody, he came at them again, cops said. The officer who fired the Taser fired one shot from his gun, striking Trawick in the upper body, authorities said. Trawick was rushed to Bronx Lebanon Hospital but could not be saved. Anthony Smallwood, 22, who said he and Trawick were friends for the past 13 years, broke down in tears when he learned the news Monday morning. “He was fighting a lot, there were a lot of physical fights. His family threw him out because of his sexuality," Smallwood said. "He was bisexual. We’re both bisexual. He’s the one that helped me come out.” |

Mo. — Police have reunited a Florissant couple with one of their
dogs, but another dog and the couple's car are still missing after a
thief struck over the weekend. The dogs named Louis (pronounced Louie) and Gryffin were in the back seat of the car when the thief jumped in and drove away. "They're never gonna come back and I'm never gonna see them again and I won't know what happened to them, that's my biggest fear," said Jaime Morton. Half of that fear was quelled Monday evening when Gryffin, the black dog, was found in the O'Fallon Park neighborhood. Police said they are still on the lookout for Louis and the car. It happened Saturday morning on Carmelita Lane in Florissant. Jaime said she was driving when she spilled coffee on herself, she then went home, parked her car in her driveway, and ran quickly inside. "I was in the house maybe 30 seconds getting a paper towel, soon as I walked into my garage, he had shut the door and that's when I grabbed it," said Morton. Gripping the door handle of her 2012 Kia Soul, Morton's arm was injured as the suspect drove away. "I held on as long as I could until I was drug to the ground," said Morton. "I went on pure instinct. I probably should not have grabbed the door and held on like I did, but that's the only thing I could think of was getting to them, getting to them."  For

say was murdered by her father - 'She was a little angel'  ALBUQUERQUE,
N.M. — A man has been arrested after police say he beat his
5-year-old daughter to death. According to a criminal
complaint, 36-year-old Brandon Reynolds told police he
became enraged after his daughter, Sarah
Dubois-Gilbeau, didn’t want to do her homework, that
“he didn’t know what came over him” and “that’s when the discipline
set in.” He told police he started spanking her and “blacked
out,” the complaint states. He eventually called 911 and reported
that Dubois-Gilbeau had gone into cardiac arrest. When emergency
crews arrived, they attempted to revive the girl before she was
transported to UNMH, where she was pronounced dead.
Rescue personnel contacted Albuquerque police to alert officers of
the situation. The complaint states that when officers
arrived, they noticed blood stains
on the living room wall and carpet. When
officers arrived to the hospital, they observed severe bruising
all over the Dubois-Gilbeau's body. The bruising, police said, was
consistent with the tread from a shoe. |

on Wednesday busted the man who broke into a sleeping teenager’s
Bronx bedroom and told her he had a gun as he forced her to touch
his groin, authorities said. Jamel McIver, 26, was arrested
shortly before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday after neighborhood residents
recognized his photo and called 911, cops said. McIver allegedly
pulled his vehicle to the front of the girl’s building on Beck
Street near Avenue St. John in Longwood and slipped into her
apartment through a fire escape window shortly before 4 a.m. Monday,
authorities and law enforcement sources said.
The 16-year-old girl told police she woke up to find
him standing over her bed.“I want you to touch me, ” the stranger told her, according to police sources. “Don’t scream. I have a gun.” He then grabbed her hand and placed it on his pants, over his genitals, police said. The terrified teen was able to free herself from his grasp, prompting the man to flee from the room through the same fire escape window. |

lobby in gasoline and set it ablaze, authorities said Wednesday.Waldo Mejia, 23, was busted Tuesday after he was caught on surveillance footage allegedly walking into a Bailey Avenue apartment building early Sunday morning and pouring gasoline throughout the entrance vestibule before lighting it up, cops said. The shocking video, obtained by FOX5, shows the lobby engulfed in flames. Mejia was arrested around 11 p.m. Tuesday and charged with burglary and arson. It’s not his first run-in with the law. He has been arrested twice before for criminal possession of a weapon, cops said. |

Jersey 
New Jersey officials have finally shut down butt butcher Ayman
Shahine. Shahine, a gynecologist turned plastic surgeon,
agreed to surrender his medical license in the face of disciplinary
action by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners. The April 1
action came after The Post revealed a disciplinary lag that allowed
New York doctors who had their licenses revoked to keep practicing
in New Jersey and the reverse to happen in New York. New York
authorities yanked Shahine’s license on Jan. 9, sustaining 16
allegations of misconduct. More than a dozen patients have sued him
for botched butt lifts and other surgeries since 2013.

BLACK arrested after 41-year-old WHITE man fatally shot at 18th,
West Broadway   LOUISVILLE,
Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police have arrested a 20-year-old man after another
man was shot and killed in the California neighborhood on April 9.
Metro Police responded to the intersection of 18th and West Broadway
just before 10 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man’s body. The man
was identified as 41-year-old Gary
S. Sallee Jr. According to a police report, a
surveillance video caught on camera the man who was shot in an
altercation with a 20-year-old Cedell Harraway. It was
during the altercation Harraway appeared to be hit with the shooting
victim's cane and it was at that time Harraway pulled out a handgun
and shot several times at the other man. Harraway then ran from the
scene. It was later on Tuesday night the police received a report
that a woman's foster son was "jumped" and had a cut on his face.
The subject of this report was Harraway. The police report states
Harraway was "evasive" with officers about the assault. Harraway was treated for his injury at university hospital. Harraway's clothes, shoes, and handgun were recovered. Police said the handgun was of the same caliber as the casings recovered from the scene of the shooting. - (Black-on-white) |

— A woman was able to fight off a man who allegedly tried to
sexually assault her on a south Phoenix street.Phoenix police report that on April 6 about 9:30 pm. Ciruai William Deng, age 27, was allegedly exposed when he approached a woman near 16th Street and Broadway Road. He made statements about wanting to have sex with the woman, according to police. The victim told Deng to leave, but instead, he allegedly grabbed the woman's breasts, pushed her to the ground and punched her several times. Police say he was trying to sexually assault the woman when witnesses arrived, causing Deng to run. Deng was spotted about two hours later, walking down the street. Witnesses pointed Deng out to police who arrested him. |

cleaner that is allegedly a front for illegal gambling.An April 1 lawsuit, which asks a judge to padlock the Melanie Fashion Cleaners on Broadway for one year, says three undercover officers who have visited the establishment talked to a counter woman about placing “a sports gambling bet on some of the current basketball games.” The plainclothed cops placed wagers of up to $40 on the Chicago Bulls, Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks with the woman, who then “printed an illegal gambling slip from a laptop,” the suit says. pleads guilty to criminal vehicular homicide   A
Minneapolis teen accused of hitting a vehicle, killing three people,
after a police pursuit in September has pleaded guilty to criminal
vehicular homicide.The Hennepin County Attorney's Office said Tuesday that Dayquan Hodge, 18, entered the plea to three counts of criminal vehicular homicide on Friday. According to a criminal complaint, a Minnesota State Patrol trooper saw a vehicle that was reported stolen at about 1:15 a.m. on September 23 of last year on Interstate 94. After following the vehicle to a stoplight, the trooper turned on his lights to get Hodge to pull over, but he sped away, running red lights and reaching speeds between 80 and 90 mph, the complaint said. Troopers terminated the chase, but Hodge continued to speed through red lights, traveling five more blocks before crashing into a truck at Cedar and 35th Street East, authorities said. The three people in the truck - Kenneth Carpentier, 64, and his wife, Sheryl Carpentier, 65, of Bullhead City, Arizona and their close friend Kimberly Gunderson, 48, of Minneapolis - were pronounced dead at the scene. During his plea hearing, the attorney's office says Hodge admitted to knowing the vehicle he was driving was stolen and that he intentionally fled at high speeds to avoid being stopped by police. He also admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. Hodge had four juvenile passengers in his vehicle, each of whom suffered serious injuries but survived. - (Black-on-white) |

Police charged 18-year-old Joseph Earls with capital murder
in connection with the Tuesday night shooting on Hillwood Drive. The
victim, identified as 19-year-old Samantha
Coyner, died of her injuries. According the Huntsville Police,
officers responded to a call of a shooting in progress at Hillwood
Dr. at Chicamauga Trail. When they arrived, they found Samantha
Coyner laying in the road. She was taken to Huntsville Hospital in
critical condition, where she dies Wednesday afternoon.Lt. Michael Johnson with HPD says that witnesses say the two were attempting a drug transaction but left before completing the transaction. The offenders followed Ms. Coyner and the witnesses in a maroon Chevy Malibu to the intersection of Hillwood and Chicamuaga Trail. When the witnesses got out of the vehicle to confront the offenders, someone from inside of the Malibu started to shoot at them. Ms. Coyner attempted to drive off but was shot while in the vehicle. Washington's record show he has been fined several times for illegal parking and also received a speeding ticket. Korves, of St. Jacob, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was a 10-year veteran of the Swansea Fire Department, according to a post on their Facebook page. He was a third generation firefighter. suspect, Christopher Leonard, is charged with online
solicitation of a minor.The girl told investigators that she met the suspect on the city light rail a few weeks before the incident, which occurred on Nov. 2, 2018, court documents say. Leonard gave her his phone number, and they began contacting each other through text messages and phone calls. She said he knew that she was only 12 years old. Police later checked Leonard's phone and found sexually explicit messages. According to court documents, Leonard showed up uninvited to the home while the girl's father was away, telling the girl that he wanted to speak with her. Meanwhile, the girl's father told detectives that he had stayed the night at the house of a friend who had recently been burglarized and felt unsafe because she lived alone. Court records show that he said he would periodically call home to check on his youngest daughter and the 12-year-old to see how they were doing. The morning of Nov. 2, he got up early to head home and get ready for work. When he got home around 5:30 a.m., the front door was dead bolted. He went to the youngest daughter's window and got her to open the door. When he went to his closet to change, he found Leonard inside, with no shirt on. |

Donald Giusti, 38, was critically injured in a large

last June. A 17-year-old monkey boy from Lewiston was
arrested in Limestone on Thursday morning on a charge of

Belizaire's coworkers notified police just before 5 a.m. Dec. 13 after they couldn't find her for nearly two hours. When officers arrived, she was getting dressed in the patient's bathroom, according to arrest reports. Police said the patient was suffering from various medical ailments at the time. The man told officers Belizaire "sexually battered" him and a subsequent sexual assault kit and DNA test confirmed his claims, police said. She is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person and abuse of an elderly person and was booked into the Brevard County Jail. |

grave at West Aurora Cemetery, police said.Jeremy Rivers, 33, has been charged with desecrating human remains, Aurora police said in a statement. The headstone indicated the grave belonged to a Victoria E. Vittetow, who was born in 1866. Aurora officers went to the cemetery at 607 Wilder St. around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after cemetery workers reported they saw Rivers digging up the gravesite. One of the workers approached Rivers, who allegedly told him he was “moving the body” at the request of family members. After workers challenged Rivers, he left the area, police said. Officers located Rivers at his home nearby and he was taken into custody, police said. While Rivers did not remove any of Vittetow’s remains, it appears her body had been disturbed, police said. He has not given police any explanation for his actions and it is currently unknown if there is a connection between Rivers and Vittetow, police said. |

female customer found the phone and attempted to take it to the bank

from her and fled the building.The incident happened on Dec. 27 at the Citizens Bank located at 791 E. Route 70. Investigators then issued search warrants at Tucker’s home and found he was using his phone to record unsuspecting females in bathrooms. |

his wife, two young daughters and a man he believed was having

Tommy Thompson said the suspect, identified Friday as 30-year-old Austin Smith, has been booked for the murders of 29-year-old Dasia Patterson, 7-year-old Mayan Smith and 5-year-old Nasha Smith, who were found at their home near 67th Avenue and Camelback Road on Thursday night. Ron Freeman, 46, whom Smith believed was having an affair with his spouse, was found at a different location. Patterson and Nasha Smith died of gunshot wounds, and police believe Mayan Smith was killed by blunt force trauma. Smith told police God told him to commit the murders. |

ID's deceased in Chesterfield Co. triple shooting  
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Three
people have been shot and killed Tuesday afternoon on
Society Hill Road in Chesterfield County, according to Chesterfield
County Sheriff James Dixon. Dixon said they are still trying to
unravel what happened. Wednesday afternoon, the Sheriff's Office
identified the deceased as 29-year-old
Hailey Brown, a 3-year-old child and 27-year-old Cordarius
Foster. It's not
clear how the deceased are related. Dixon says no one
is in custody and they are not looking for a suspect. |

of Rolling Hills Mayor Patrick Wilson has been arrested in the
violent caught-on-camera assault of a man with autism.Declan Bell-Wilson, 18, was arrested along with Korey Streeter, 18, of Palos Verdes Estates, at their respective homes. They were booked at the Lomita Sheriff's Station for the charges of conspiracy, assault and robbery and are each being held in lieu of $80,000 bail, according to a press release by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. On March 25, sheriff's deputies became aware of a video posted on social media. The video shows a violent attack that occurred in the parking structure of a shopping center. The cellphone footage shows two men violently beating another man as he lay on the ground, defenseless. They punched the victim in his upper body before kicking him and stealing items from his pocket, the press release stated. The suspects did not stop their attack despite the presence of several witnesses. They even mocked the victim while doing it, sheriff's officials said. A second recording of the attack shows the victim standing shirtless and being ordered to strip down to his underwear in front of others. Following an investigation, detectives identified the victim as a young man with autism. He suffered bruises to his body and had two cellphones stolen. Officials said the victim did not report the crime, and his parents were not aware it happened. The suspects were also identified as Bell-Wilson and Korey Streeter. |

Two police officers in Kentucky are on administrative leave after
they fatally shot a shooting suspect in the parking lot of an
apartment complex Tuesday who could be seen on a bodycam running at
them. Louisville Metro Police said the shooting took place Tuesday
around 3 p.m. at the Spring Manor Apartments in Louisville when
officers arrived and confronted the man, identified as 33-year-old Terry
Davis Jr. "His behavior was described as erratic

he intentionally ran over a dog, killing it. Douglas Smith
faces charges of extreme cruelty to animals and conspiracy to commit

complex near Unser and McMahon Monday in response to a disturbance.
When they arrived on scene they found
a dog named "Chubs" on the ground with "obvious injuries."
An officer took Chubs to a local animal hospital where he later
died.According to the criminal complaint, officers were able to interview three witnesses, all of whom told police they believed Chubs was run over intentionally. They reported seeing Smith and a woman arguing with Chubs' owner before getting into an SUV and running over Chubs. All three witnesses told officers they heard Smith and the woman both yell "Kill the dog" prior to hitting him with the vehicle. |
