registrar threatens to drop anti-immigration website SILVER
SPRING, Md. -- An internet registrar is threatening to delist a
website that is a leading promoter of white nationalist and
anti-immigration views, a move that could make the site accessible
only to diehard users willing to use a special browser to find it on
the dark web.Network Solutions’ parent company, Web.com Group, notified a civil rights group on Friday that it has “taken steps" to terminate the company’s account for VDARE.com, which would make it unreachable on the public internet unless it can find another provider willing to register the domain name. VDARE remained online Monday. The website has until Thursday to transfer the domain before Network Solutions may delete its services, a parent company lawyer said in a letter to a VDARE attorney last week. In April and in May, the head of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law sent letters urging Network Solutions to drop VDARE. Kristen Clarke, the Washington, D.C.-based group’s president and executive director, wrote that VDARE peddles “anti-immigrant and anti-Black hate,” spreads misinformation about the coronavirus and encourages violence against migrants. “This is part of our ongoing work to confront the ways in which hate activity festers online,” Clarke said Monday. “We know that many white supremacists and extremists are not organizing in basements. They are using these platforms and websites to spread their dangerous ideologies, target victims and incite violence.” In Friday’s response to Clarke, a company attorney said VDARE’s content “does not represent the values of our organization” and violates its “Acceptable Use Policy.” The policy bars customers from using its domains “to display bigotry, racism, discrimination, or hatred in any manner whatsoever,” the same company attorney said in a letter to a VDARE lawyer last week. VDARE founder and editor Peter Brimelow said his site’s content hasn’t changed in the 20 years that it has been a Network Solutions customer. “Censorship is just intensifying,” he wrote in an email on Monday. “We’re still working on a replacement, but there is certainly a chance we’ll have to go dark for at least a couple of days. And anyway we have no confidence that any US-based site will stand up to the PC lynch mob for long.”  Many websites that publish white nationalist, white supremacist or anti-Semitic material have struggled to stay online or been booted off mainstream internet platforms, often after violent attacks by far-right extremists. Google and GoDaddy yanked The Daily Stormer’s web address after the neo-Nazi website’s founder, Andrew Anglin, published a post mocking the woman killed when a man drove a car into a crowd of counterprotesters at a 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. Social media platform Gab, where the suspect in the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre spewed anti-Semitic messages before the 2018 shooting rampage, was briefly knocked offline after registrar GoDaddy and others dropped the site. Gab returned after a Seattle-based company, Epik, agreed to register it. Users spewed anonymous hate on 8chan, an online message boar d, until a string of mass shootings by gunmen who posted manifestos on the site led to it getting forced offline in August 2019. The disruption ended when the imageboard relaunched in November under the new name 8kun. This isn’t the first time VDARE has been dropped by a technology company. Facebook announced last month that it removed accounts linked to VDARE and other groups, including pages devoted to the QAnon far-right conspiracy theory. Brimelow sued The New York Times Company in January, claiming the newspaper defamed him by referring to him as an “open white nationalist.” The suit seeks at least $5 million in damages. Last Thursday, newspaper lawyers urged a federal court in New York to throw out the lawsuit, accusing Brimelow of playing “word games about how his fringe views should be characterized.” “Brimelow has promoted theories at the heart of white nationalism and white supremacy, including that certain races are predisposed to commit crime and that IQ is linked to race,” they wrote. Brimelow has denied that his website is white nationalist but acknowledged it publishes works by writers who fit that description “in the sense that they aim to defend the interests of American whites.” |

Man gunned down stepson, shot step-grandson in neck during
Father's Day fight over parking spot: JPSO

parking dispute at a West Bank home devolved into tragedy on
Father's Day when a man shot and killed his
stepson and critically wounded his step-grandson, Jefferson
Parish authorities said. Mark Jones, 58, was arrested and booked with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder, said Capt. Jason Rivarde, a spokesman for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. Jones' stepson, Tyrell Washington Sr., 40, of Marrero, was taken to University Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. He later died of his injuries, according to Mark Bone, chief death investigator for the Jefferson Parish Corner's Office. Washington's 21-year-old son was in critical condition Monday afternoon with a gunshot wound to his neck, Rivarde said. The shooting occurred about 10:45 p.m. on Father's Day at Jones' home in the 900 block of North Clark Lane near Westwego. Jones and Washington were arguing over parking at the residence, Rivarde said. The argument got physical as the two began fighting. That's when Jones allegedly grabbed a gun and shot both Washington and his step-grandson. |

and left naked, tied to a tree, police said. Ariel
Dupuis, 29, is believed to have helped Ronald Betances, 37,
kidnap the victim at knifepoint from his home in Manchester on
Friday, the Manchester police said. The victim said he was forced
into a car, where his wallet and phone were taken, according to
police. He said he was driven to several places before he was taken
to Derry, N.H., and ordered to take off his clothes, said police. He
told authorities his wrists and feet were bound and that he was tied
to a tree and assaulted, police said. The victim later freed himself
and called police. His injuries were not life threatening, according
to Heather Hamel, a Manchester police spokesperson. Authorities said
the suspects and victim know each other. Police said the
alleged crime was not random, but Hamel declined to comment on a
potential motive. |

N.C. (WBTV) - Three people are dead and
11 people are injured after a block party that led to a
shooting and several people being hit by vehicles in north Charlotte
early Monday morning. Police are calling the incident a “mass
casualty” and say over 100 rounds were fired into a crowd of
around 400 people.Just before 12:30 p.m., officials identified the two people killed as 29-year-old Kelly Miller and 28-year-old Christopher Antonio Gleaton. Police say some of the other people who were injured are fighting for their lives. Just before 4 p.m., CMPD said a third person had died from the shooting. That person was identified as 39-year-old Jamaa Keon Cassell. The violent scene unfolded around 12:30 a.m. on Beatties Ford Road near Catherine Simmons Avenue following a neighborhood party. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they were initially called to the area after hearing a pedestrian may have been hit. Officers arrived to find hundreds of people in the streets as shots went off. “It was a very, very chaotic scene,” police said. “We’re talking about 400 people in one spot, not one witness, not one,” police said, calling it “very disappointing.” WBTV received video from the event from the moments the gunfire erupted. Just as an ambulance pulls up to the scene, multiple gunshots can be heard as people scream and run from the scene. One woman was found lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead on scene. A second victim struck by gunfire was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, police say. Police say they had to pull people off the backs of firefighters as they worked to get to the injured. Nine people were shot, CMPD says, and two of them - Miller and Gleaton - were killed. The other seven people were taken to the hospital, along with the 5 people who were hit by vehicles. At least five of those shot were hospitalized with serious injuries, according to officials. Police say the people struck by vehicles suffered minor injuries. |

Native One Of Victims In MUSLIM Terrorist Attack In England

England (CBS/AP) — Eyewitness News has learned one of the victims of
a stabbing rampage that killed three people as they sat in a British
park on a summer evening is from Philadelphia. Joe
Ritchie-Bennett was one of three people killed Saturday in
what British investigators are labeling an act of terror.Ritchie-Bennett was a graduate of Father Judge High School. He lived in the United Kingdom for the past 15 years. His family still lives in Philadelphia. His father, Robert Ritchie, told Eyewitness News, “The family is heartbroken they have lost their brilliant and loving son. This was senseless.” A 25-year-old man who is believed to be the lone attacker was in custody, but officials said the motive for the carnage was unclear. Authorities said they were not looking for any other suspects and they did not raise Britain’s official terrorism threat level from “substantial.” Ritchie-Bennett and two other people were killed and three others seriously wounded in the stabbing attack that came out of the blue Saturday in Forbury Gardens park in Reading, a town of 200,000 people 40 miles (64 kilometers) west of London. Police have not identified the suspect, but Britain’s national news agency, Press Association, and other media outlets named him as Khairi Saadallah, a Libyan asylum-seeker living in Reading. A Reading man of that name who is the same age as the suspect was sentenced to two months in prison last year for assaulting an emergency worker. The same man was also charged last year with assaulting a judge who had sentenced him. Robbers Punch Man In The Face During Harlem Theft, Police Say
HARLEM,
NY — A man was punched in the face while being robbed on Harlem's
busiest street, police said. A 34-year-old was walking on West
125th Street and Morningside Avenue just after midnight on Tuesday,
June 2 when he was approached by a man and a woman who demanded his
belongings, police said. After the verbal threat, the male robber
pushed the man to the ground and punched him in the face while
wrestling away the victim's backpack, police said.The victim suffered pain and bruising to the face, but refused medical attention at the scene. Police valued the stolen items at about $220. Police released photos of two suspects Thursday. The alleged robbers fled the scene by entering the subway system, police said. |

(OCSO) arrested Christopher Lucas (37), who is accused of randomly striking women around the Orangeburg area. MAWR, Pa. - Authorities in Montgomery County have announced child
sex assault charges against a former Bryn Mawr Hospital employee.
Kaseef Festus, 30, has been charged with institutional sexual
assault of a minor, corruption of a minor, and related charges
following an incident that occurred at the hospital last month.On May 6, police say a 16-year-old girl was taken to the hospital by her parents and treated in the emergency room. She remained in the emergency room until a proper placement facility was located for her. During the early morning hours of May 8, police say Festus, an aid assigned by the hospital to look after the teen sexually assaulted her. The victim reported the incident, prompting the investigation. Festus was arraigned earlier this week and released on his own recognizance. |

Ill. -- Two men have been charged with killing a 72-year-old man
during a failed carjacking Sunday in south suburban Dolton.Treyante Maxwell, 19, and David Johnson, 18, allegedly tried to carjack the man about 8 a.m. in the 14600-block of Lakeside Avenue, according to a statement from Dolton Police Chief Ernest Mobley. Johnson was scouting the neighborhood for a car to steal when he found 72-year-old Carl Kosmos sleeping in his car with the engine running behind his home, according to the Cook County state's attorney's office. He then went to get Maxwell from a home they were staying in a few blocks away. Johnson tapped on the driver's window with a 9 mm pistol while Maxwell stood by the passenger door, prosecutors said. Johnson ordered Kosmos to get out of the car and hand over his money. Kosmos tried to get away by reversing away from the suspects and then driving forward, prosecutors said. Johnson fired multiple shots through the windshield and passenger-side window. He was hit once near the left side of his ribcage and was able to drive around to the front of his house, the state's attorney's office said. He got inside and his wife called 911 while the suspects ran away. Kosmos was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died during surgery, Mobley said. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide. Investigators used security footage to identify Maxwell and Johnson, prosecutors said. They were arrested about 12:30 am. Monday at Maxwell's home. Johnson admitted to the shooting during interviews with police and identified himself in surveillance video from the area, according to prosecutors. Maxwell also allegedly admitted to going with Johnson to rob Kosmos. Both men were ordered held without bail Wednesday on charges of first-degree murder and attempted aggravated vehicular hijacking, according to court records. - (Black-on-White) |

Brosey. He was killed just before 11:30 p.m. Monday in
Crawford Village in McKeesport.Investigators say when first responders arrived at the scene, they found Brosey, who had been shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are calling this a targeted shooting. When McKeesport Police arrived, they requested the assistance of Allegheny County Police’s homicide unit. A large police presence was at the scene of the shooting for several hours. Police say surveillance video shows Brosey walking up to the stoop of an apartment when a black male wearing a light-colored hoodie approached Brosey between Building 47 and Building 48 and shot him. Police say two other black males were standing on Pirl Street nearby and fired multiple shots in the direction of Brosey. “Surveillance video is always helpful. Augusta man faces murder and elder abuse charges after his
78-year-old mother died from being “eaten alive” by ants due
to neglect, authorities said.Kenneth Bernard Leverett, 58,
was arrested Wednesday after his mother was found unresponsive in
their Wrightsboro Road home, according to the Crimes Against the
Vulnerable and Elderly (CAVE) task force. The woman was found living
in “terrible conditions,” authorities said. “The victim was
covered in rashes, blood and insect bites,” the task force
said in a Facebook post. “Ants were observed to be going in and
out of the mouth and ears of the victim who appeared to be being
‘eaten alive.’”The victim, identified as Vivian Marshall by Augusta-based news station WRDW, was also severely dehydrated and underweight. the killings of three homeless people this month. Some photos APD
circulated of the man shows him at the Chamblee MARTA Station.APD has described the suspect as a black male, approximately 5-feet-10-inches to 6 feet tall, and weighing 170 to 200 pounds. In the MARTA station images, he is wearing a dark ball cap, dark pants, and a blue T-shirt that appears to read, “Do you know what would look good on you? Me!” Another photo shows him wearing similar clothing except for a long-sleeved white shirt and a backpack. APD says the three shooting deaths it believes to be connected all occurred within the city of Atlanta. Toledo man is accused of raping and physically assaulting a woman at

beginning in January 2017 and ending just this month when the foster
child came forward. According to court documents, the 40-year-old
started assaulting the then-16-year-old
shortly after he was placed in his care. Evans was arrested after
the victim came forward. Charles Hoffman, of Bristol Township, was arrested Wednesday and is charged with assaulting one boy. It’s the same boy who the DA says was assaulted by 57-year-old Louis Aiello, of Penndel. Aiello was arrested Tuesday at his home on the 400 block of Rumpf Avenue. He was charged with assaulting two boys. The DA says Aiello sexually assaulted one of his victims from 2001 to 2007, beginning when the boy was just 11 or 12 years old. That victim was as young as 5 when authorities say he was assaulted by Hoffman beginning in 1995. Both Hoffman and Aiello were friends of the victim’s family, but the DA says it’s not clear if they know each other. |

Police found the girl in the courtyard. They also spoke with a woman who said she'd been unable to reach Burns on her cellphone after hearing arguing in the apartment, Musella said. arrested for March shooting of a 19-year-old (white) girl at
Charlotte traffic light     CHARLOTTE,
N.C. (WBTV) - A suspect has been identified and charged in an
alleged March drive-by shooting that left a 19-year-old
woman dead. Brianna Stephenson was
shot on the morning of March 8 while inside a car at a traffic light
at the intersection of Tuckaseegee Road and Freedom Drive.
Police say Stephenson was in a car, stopped at the light, when
someone in another car started shooting. The family says a
friend they didn’t know was in the car with Stephenson.
Stephenson died at Atrium Health just days later due to her
injuries.Wednesday, police said they charged 18-year-old Christopher Chisholm in Stephenson’s killing. Chisholm was identified as a suspect and warrants were issued for his arrest. He was already in custody at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s office, police say. He faces charges of murder, discharging a firearm into occupied property and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. “Bri is a beautiful young woman, for whom life just started,” James Debusk, Brianna’s grandfather, told WBTV. “I lost my granddaughter because of something stupid. 36-Year-Old Akhenaton Jones Wanted In Connection To Murder Of
Black Transgender Freak Dominique Fells PHILADELPHIA
(CBS) — The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office has released the
name of the suspect wanted in the murder of Dominique
Rem’mie Fells, a black transgender freak. Officials
are searching for 36-year-old Akhenaton
Jones.Officials found Fells’ dismembered body last week in the Schuylkill River, near a Southwest Philadelphia dock. Police sources tell CBS3 dismembered legs, dry blood stains, trash bags and a knife with blood on it were found throughout a home on the 3900 block of Powelton Avenue. Sources also say the home had a strong odor of decomposition. Activists said her murder is part of a disturbing trend. |

Pa. (CBS) — Authorities say a Bucks County school bus driver has
been arrested and charged for raping two
teenage boys, including a foster child in his care. John
Michael Evans, of Tullytown, is facing charges of rape, child
pornography, sex trafficking and other related offenses.Evans worked for the Pennsbury and Bristol Township school districts. Investigators say he also had involvement with youth sports. Prosecutors say the 40-year-old abused the boys between January 2017 and June 2020, when the foster child told police of the abuse. The 16-year-old foster child told officials Evans began abusing him in April, shortly after he was placed in his care. The teen told police the abuse occurred “too many times to count,” according to a criminal complaint. |
