COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man
has been charged with felony murder,
weeks after a 20-year-old was shot and
killed while she slept in her bed.Andre Colson, a 26-year-old man, was charged Saturday in connection with the Sept. 13 death of Sierra Rhodd in the Cypress area. Colson is in jail and is expected to appear in court Monday. He's being held on $80,000 bond. [Texas Statewide - Race: African American - Harris County Jail] - (Black-on-White) A week after Rhodd's killing, her father, Mike Rhodd, was shot to death during a fight at the home of his in-laws. His father-in-law said the shooting was in self-defense, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. No arrests were made in that case. |

charges and booked into the Multnomah
County Jail, KATU reported. He’s
listed as homeless in court documents,
according to Fox 12 Oregon. Leo Khoury, the owner of Habibi Restaurant, said Friday he’s still shaken after the incident and wore bandages covering two- to three-inch gashes on his lower back and left shoulder, Fox 12 reported. "I just start shaking if I see anybody walk inside the restaurant, I just get scared," Khoury said. Police responded to Habibi Restaurant, a Lebanese eatery on Southwest Morrison Street, around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officers arrived at the scene to find Trujillo-Rodriguez sitting in the bushes about two blocks away from the restaurant, surrounded by several employees. KY.
Tiffany L. Kidwell, 32, of Walton, had pulled into the driveway of her home with her two children in the backseat when, according to investigators, John C. Gentry approached the vehicle. Gentry, 34, had been in a sexual relationship with Kidwell, according to investigators, but she left him and began staying with family on Winchester Drive. A domestic violence order was in effect against Gentry, the Boone County Sheriff's Office said. On Friday night, Gentry followed Kidwell home, engaged in a brief verbal exchange, and then shot her multiple times. Kidwell died at the scene. A 3-year old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen and was transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where he in stable condition. A 6-year old boy was not injured. After the shooting, Gentry was located by deputies on Grand National Blvd. as he attempted to flee the subdivision. Deputies tried to stop Gentry's vehicle, but the suspect fled on foot. Soon after, deputies heard gunshots nearby and found another man wounded in the leg near the neighborhood clubhouse. That man and a woman were driving on Grand National Blvd. at Overland Ridge when, deputies said, Gentry pulled his gun and demanded their vehicle. Lawrence Ward, 30, was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center to be treated for his leg wound. Haley Lane, 24, was not injured. Deputies said that when interviewed, Gentry told detectives that he was out driving around after work and saw Tiffany Kidwell and followed her to confront her over seeing their children. arrested after he tried to carjack
four separate drivers on Friday.Christopher Henrix, 32, crashed his truck around 7:45 a.m. as he was fleeing a hit and run on I-4, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said. After crashing, he ran to a Marathon gas station and tried to drive off in a Chevy Colorado that was at one of the pumps. A woman pumping gas sprayed Hendrix with gasoline when she realized he was trying to steal her truck. Hendrix jumped out and ran to another vehicle, a burgundy Town and Country minivan. The driver, who has a permit to carry a concealed firearm, was standing out front. The man drew his handgun, aimed it at the suspect and demanded he get out of the minivan. Investigators said Hendrix then ran from the gas station. When Hendrix was put into the back of a patrol car, he tried to kick out the window and escape. Hendrix was arrested and charged with carjacking, grand theft auto, two counts of occupied burglary, felony criminal mischief and escape, the sheriff’s office said. Hendrix has previously been convicted of six felonies and four misdemeanors. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison for aggravated battery in 2009. He was released in 2017. “This violent, convicted felon was bound and determined to forcibly steal a car this morning, but our citizens said, ‘Not today,’” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said. “While I’m grateful nobody was seriously injured, I’m also very proud of these four victims for keeping their wits about them and refusing to allow this man to take what’s theirs.” |

raping a woman inside her home last
week, according to police.The suspect was identified as 47-year-old Shahram “Rick” Mokhtari. San Carlos police said officers and San Mateo County Sheriff’s deputies learned on September 28 that Mokhtari entered the victim’s home in San Carlos three days prior at around 1 a.m. and raped her. The victim told investigators she has known Mokhtari for about a year, police said. Mokhtari was arrested on September 28 and booked at the main jail without incident. La. (KPLC) - Two people were
stabbed to death at a residence on the
corner of W. Division and Down streets
in Jennings early Wednesday morning,
authorities say.The stabbing was reported to 911 around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jennings Police Chief Danny Semmes said. It is believed that an argument over money led to the incident. Arriving officers found Kristin Thibodeaux, 24, in the driveway with a stab wound to the side of her body, Semmes said. She was unresponsive and officers began giving her CPR. As more officers arrived, they saw numerous people going in and out of the house, Semmes said. Officers cleared the house and found 33-year-old David Authement stabbed once in the chest in a back bedroom. Officers also performed CPR on Authement, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, Semmes said. Thibodeaux died at a local hospital. a woman and injuring his brother in

year.A jury in Mississippi County, Arkansas convicted Andra Crockett, 34, of first-degree murder in the shooting death of Priscilla Aldridge. He was also convicted of first-degree battery for shooting and injuring his brother, Kevin Thomas. Prosecuting attorney Scott Ellington said Aldridge and Thomas brought home a fast-food order to Crockett on March 5, 2019. Prosecutors say when Crockett opened his bag of food, a neighbor heard him say to Aldridge, “B****, you know I don’t like mayonnaise on my hamburger.” Police said Crockett then shot Thomas three times and Aldridge once. Crockett could serve a maximum sentence of 130 years. |

There were three other men involved with the crime but Steven Beckly, Demetrius Hall (Orlando’s brother) and Marvin Holloway all plead guilty to kidnapping in exchange for a more lenient sentence according to the Associated Press’s reporting in 1995. County Sheriff’s Office says two
people have been arrested in
connection with a child abuse death
investigation of a
15-month-old toddler named
Aiden. The child was
in foster care at a Pueblo West
home.The sheriff’s office says Ramando Jones and Dacey Spinuzzi were arrested and both were booked into the Pueblo County Jail. According to deputies, the two were in a relationship. According to prosecutors who spoke at a court appearance for Spinuzzi on Wednesday, the child had damage to his spine and brain bleeding. Prosecutors added the child had bruising throughout his body and they believe the suspects were trying to keep the injuries hidden before a child services visit. Spinuzzi’s bond was set at $500,000 and if she makes bond she can’t have contact with anyone younger than 18 once released. The sheriff’s office says Jones was arrested Monday night on a warrant for first-degree murder of a child in a position of trust, but was already in custody at the Pueblo County Jail at the time on an unrelated charge. In a statement released by the sheriff’s office, they add Spinuzzi was taken into custody Wednesday morning on a warrant for child abuse resulting in death. These two arrests stem from what happened back on Sept. 16, when deputies responded to a home in the 400 block of S. Coral Drive on a report of an unresponsive child. The child was taken to a hospital but died two days later. At the time of Aiden’s death, he was a foster child in the custody of Spinuzzi. Deputies add there were three other foster children who were living there, along with one (illegitimate mixed-race) biological child she had with Jones. The child had been with Spinuzzi since July 23. The sheriff’s department adds an autopsy showed Aiden died from injuries from the child abuse. - (Black-on-White) |

According to the affidavit, the victim said that Mitchell started to apologize to her and told her not to tell anybody. Police say the victim then told the family member. After interviewing Johnson, his daughter and his ex-wife, the officers went inside the residence to arrest him. Authorities say Johnson became angry and started yelling at his family upon being told he was under arrest, and the officers reportedly tried to deescalate the situation. Johnson then grabbed a loaded .45-caliber handgun from his bedroom closet, which he fired three times when approached by the officers, wounding deputies Timothy Iversen and Katherine Grimley. Johnson shot Grimley in the leg and Iversen in the leg and the arm, permanently injuring both. In August 2019, a Loudoun jury convicted Johnson of attempted capital murder, malicious wounding, discharging a firearm within an occupied building and two other weapons-related charges. |

woman found with gunshot wounds to

South Lake Union apartment.Joseph Demon Gongora, 33, was charged Monday with second-degree murder domestic violence, The Seattle Times reported. His bail, originally set at $1 million, was increased to $2 million. Police said a man later identified as Gongora walked into the King County Jail on Wednesday around 4:40 p.m., and told an officer on duty that he wanted to turn himself in. Gongora was handcuffed and jail staff called the Seattle Police Department, authorities said. Officers were then sent to the man’s apartment where they determined the woman had died, the charges said. The department received a search warrant and investigators searched the apartment where they found a handgun, ammunition and two spent shell casings, authorities said. Gongora was then arrested and booked into jail. Police identified the woman as Crystal Rohre, 28. Her relationship with Gongora was not detailed in the charges but police believe they were intimate. “Currently, investigators are not aware of any evidence suggesting there was a physical struggle or verbal argument prior to the killing,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Jason Simmons said in the charging documents. “Rather, the currently known evidence suggests Gongora retrieved a firearm then executed Crystal Rohre.” - (Black-on-White) |

The woman told police that she was working on yard work when she heard a loud noise from inside her home. When she went to check it out she discovered Jones in her home armed with a knife. Jones threatened her with the knife before she shot him once in the chest. Jones was taken to a hospital. Once discharged he was charged with first degree burglary and aggravated assault. rape a woman in the Boston
Public Garden.The woman was walking in the park around 6 a.m. Monday when a man suddenly put his hand over her mouth, threatened her and tried to take off some of her clothes. She broke free and escaped. The man ran off. Boston Police said they found the suspect, 30-year-old Luan Maxwell, Tuesday morning on Boylston Street. When officers approached him, he fled, but was caught on Harrison Avenue. Maxwell did not show his face in court but he could be heard muttering behind a door after his attorney said he was incoherent and needed a psychiatric evaluation. Maxwell was arraigned on a charge of assault with intent to rape. Police say he tackled a woman who was walking through the Boston Public Garden early Monday morning, held his hand over the victim’s mouth and told her he wanted sex. The victim was able to escape to a nearby Starbucks. Police reviewed surveillance video from the park and determined the suspect was Maxwell who is a homeless person known to frequent the area. Police caught up to him when they got a call from the St. Francis House. Police said Maxwell has previously exposed himself to children and he has an open charge of assault with a dangerous weapon. He’s being held on $20,000 cash bail and will be evaluated by a doctor. |

two counties is now in jail and one
of his victims has died, according
to police.Karl Jordan, 26, is booked in the Henry County jail. He's accused of shooting a woman in the head at a Waffle House in Henry County, GA Thursday morning and is also the suspect in a triple shooting in Clayton County Wednesday night. One of the three people who were shot at a home in Hampton, a woman police said had a prior relationship with Jordan, has died, police announced Thursday afternoon. None of the victims have been identified. Police and the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force worked on leads throughout the night and tracked down Jordan to a home in Stockbridge. He was arrested late Thursday morning without incident. The U.S. Marshals told CBS46 Jordan was in the car he's accused of stealing from the Waffle House after shooting an employee. He also had a gun with him. The Waffle House shooting happened around 6 a.m. Thursday off Highway 155 near Eagles Landing Parkway in Henry County. Police said Jordan demanded money, shot an employee and stole her car. The night before, Clayton County Police said the triple shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Glyn Court in Hampton around 8:50 p.m. There were three victims, a (White) 4-year-old child, the child's (white) mother and (White) grandmother. are locked up in the Oakland
County Jail, accused of cutting four
fingers off of a man's right
hand.The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. on September 21. Police say the victim was observed by a Sheriff's Deputy who was driving in the lot of the Pontiac Substation when the SUV the victim was driving drove up onto the curb in front of the Waterford Regional Fire Department station, which is right across the street. Then man then fell out of his vehicle as a firetruck pulled up behind the SUV. The firefighters say the man, who was covered in blood, had waved them down and they followed him to the fire station. The victim, a 38-year-old Pontiac resident, told deputies that he was outside of an apartment on Mechanic Street to meet up with a woman and her boyfriend. Deputies say the woman later told them she had (sic) her boyfriend had planned on buying drugs from the victim. According to what they were told, once inside the woman's apartment to complete the sale, there was a knock at the door and the suspect was let in. Once inside, police say the suspect began to assault the victim with what was called a large crescent wrench. That led to four of the victim's fingers being severed. Police recovered three of his fingers inside the woman's apartment and the fourth was recovered in a grassy area. It was determined that it had been in the woman's purse. Doctors were only able to reattach one of the fingers. A crescent wrench was not recovered. However, Police say the did recover a blood-covered knife, which is more consistent with the victim's injuries. The suspects have been identified as 40-year-old Partick Fredrick-Deon Leak, 56-year-old Patricia Deneen Osborn, and 32-year-old Henry Rahsaun Simms. All have been charged with Armed Robbery and Assault with Intent to Do Great Bodily Harm Less Then Murder. |

complaint, on September 23, Cortez Lamont Edwards of Louisville went live on Facebook brandishing an AR variant pistol. In the video Edwards says he is seeking $30,000 to shoot Louisville Metro Police Department officers on scene for a disturbance in the street in front of his house. An investigation into Edwards revealed he is a convicted felon and is therefore not permitted to own a firearm. A search warrant was executed without incident Sunday by agents from several law enforcement organizations, including Homeland Security. Edwards has been federally charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. If convicted, he faced a maximum sentence of ten years, a $250,000 fine, and three years supervised release. |

Sheriff Hill’s office announced Williams was one of four suspects who allegedly robbed and sexually assaulted a woman on May 5th during a home invasion in Jonesboro. “A two-year-old child was present and a gun was held to the child’s head during the home invasion robbery”, the release stated. Money and person items were taken during the alleged robbery. Clayton’s sheriff office reported Williams is facing several charges including armed robbery and sexual assault. |

N.C. — A man is facing multiple sex
offense charges after being arrested
by Winston-Salem police on Saturday
in connection to a rape
investigation, according to a
Winston-Salem Police Department news
release.Around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, officers with the WSPD were dispatched to an apartment in the 200 block of Stone Ridge Drive on a reported rape.Based on the investigation, officers determined that a young woman had returned to her apartment and was opening her apartment door, when a young man approached her from behind and forced his way into her apartment. The suspect was a stranger to the victim. Once inside the apartment, the suspect strangled the victim while forcing the her to perform or engage in various sex acts against her will. At some point following the assault, the victim was able to flee the apartment and call 911 from a cellphone belonging to a person at the apartment complex. At 11:36 a.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Woods Road. The responding officers encountered a young woman in her early twenties. She reported that she had just returned to her apartment and was unlocking her door while using her cell phone when she noticed a young man a short distance behind her. She opened the door and proceeded into her apartment. The man followed her and forcefully prevented her from closing the apartment door before forcing his way into her apartment. Once inside the apartment, he began to physically assault her by grabbing and hitting her while attempting to take the cellphone that she was using. She was able to fight back against the assailant and was eventually able to flee the apartment while screaming for help. These patrol officers were provided with a description of the suspect and were actively monitoring these areas for the suspect. The patrol officer initiated contact with the man and during that encounter, and he tried to flee from the officer. After a foot pursuit and physical struggle, the officer was able to take him into custody. He was identified as twenty 20-year-old Tavon Demaris Taylor. Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, authorities charged Taylor with numerous crimes. |

home invasions happened in Wheaton
and Lombard, one of the suspects
removed an electronic monitoring
device and eluded capture by
authorities in Cook County,
authorities said.Three people have been charged in connection with the two break-ins that occurred early Aug. 23 and left two men with gunshot wounds, including one of the suspects. A 74-year-old grandmother also was injured. Malik Pitts, 22, of Broadview, Isaiah Johnson, 21, of Blue Island and Keytori Jackson, 22, of Broadview have been charged with attempted murder, home invasion and aggravated battery with a firearm. Pitts and Johnson are held in the DuPage County jail without bail. Jackson is held on $500,000 bail. This week, DuPage County officials said Pitts was awaiting trial for a charge of unlawful possession of a vehicle in Cook County when he cut off his electronic monitoring device back in June. On May 22, a judge released Pitts on a personal recognizance bond with electronic monitoring, according to Tandra Simonton, speaking for the Cook County state's attorney's office. Pitts was outfitted with an ankle bracelet that uses radio frequency to monitor him during home confinement. But according to the Cook County sheriff's office, which operates the county's pretrial monitoring program, Pitts' device sent an alert June 21. Authorities say that shortly after 5 a.m. Aug. 23, Johnson and Pitts entered a home in Wheaton and attacked the residents, including a grandmother who was injured when she was struck in the face while trying to protect her granddaughter. About 20 minutes later, authorities say, Johnson and Pitts attacked a family in Lombard. During that encounter, Johnson shot a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun twice at the homeowner, with one shot hitting the ground and the other going through the man and striking Pitts. |

Kansas City, Missouri, man who led
police on a chase and was ultimately
shot, faces rape and domestic abuse
charges.Pierre A. Bey-Crawford entered an apartment Saturday in the 7600 block of Monroe, where a woman he had been in a relationship with lives, and after demanding to see her phone, began beating her, according to charging documents. Bey-Crawford also sexually assaulted and strangled the woman, then left the residence in her vehicle, documents state, and led Kansas City, Missouri, police on both a vehicle and foot pursuit. Police took Bey-Crawford into custody after he was shot by an officer near East 63rd Street and Swope Parkway on Saturday. He was transferred to Research Medical Center due to injuries. He also had prior convictions and "domestic violent incidents involving the victim," according to a news release from the Jackson County prosecutor's office. Other charges include armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm. |

Numerous anonymous tips lead them to believe Banks was one of the shooters involved, and it was a retaliation shooting for the 2018 killings Melly and Henry were arrested for. |

bleachers.Around 300 people attended a Marietta City Schools football game where Alecia Kitts, of Marietta, was filmed getting handcuffed on Wednesday in the city of Logan. Kitts, as well as several other families and children, were sitting in the bleachers at the time and footage taken by witnesses quickly spread across social media. Footage of the incident shows Kitts sitting next to her mother while in a heated verbal altercation with a police officer over face masks. It's unclear what was initially said, but Kitts repeatedly resists arrest as the officer struggles to handcuff her. 'Let go of me!' Kitts yells. 'Get off of me, sir! What the f*** is wrong with you?'
