15-year-old Ohio girl dies in Nevada hospital after running away from home with a 19-year-old black male and another white 15-yr-old female runaway
PAINESVILLE, Ohio (WOIO) - Painesville Police Department on Saturday announced the death of 15-year-old Kathryn McGuire, who was reported missing on Nov. 26. McGuire died on Dec. 8 at Dignity Health Saint Rose Hospital in Henderson, Nevada. The Clark County Coroner’s Office in Nevada tells 19 News the cause of McGuire’s death will not be released before Monday morning. Henderson, Nevada Police confirm that they are investigating the death and say no charges have been filed in McGuire’s death. 19 News previously reported on McGuire’s disappearance. Police said it was believed Haylie Vance, 15, Haylie Vance, 15, and McGuire ran away together. Vance was found safe and detained by Long Beach California police on Dec. 4. Vance told police she, McGuire and 19-year-old Aaron Larkin voluntarily left Ohio to go to California.- (Black-on-White) |

Cops are looking for a woman who left an unsuspecting 86-year-old lady with a fractured hip after flooring her with a vicious punch to the face in Queens last month, police said.
The unprovoked assault took place Nov. 11 at about 10:30 a.m. in front of 229-01 Linden Blvd in Cambria Heights, in the 105th Precinct, authorities said. The suspect is a woman between 50 to 60 years old, cops said.

A paroled gang member has been arrested in connection with a Manhattan subway slashing, police said.
Robert Bazemore, 34, was arrested Friday near the 110th Street and Lexington Avenue stop — the same location where he allegedly cut a man in the face on Monday, according to police.
The 51-year-old victim was on the mezzanine level around 5:10 p.m. when Bazemore attacked him, police said.
A cop who recognized Bazemore from a wanted poster took him into custody late Friday; he had not been charged with the assault as of Saturday night, police said.
Arresting officers found a stun gun on him and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon, police said.
Bazemore, of Queens, is a reputed gang member out on parole, NYPD Transit Chief Kathleen O’Reilly said Saturday on Twitter. |

A former baggage handler at Newark Liberty International Airport was sentenced Friday to 15 years in prison for using his position to smuggle cocaine into the country, authorities said.
Tyrone Woolaston of Orange, NJ, was convicted at trial in 2019 of conspiring to distribute more than 5 kilograms of cocaine and using a firearm in furtherance of cocaine trafficking.

Los Angeles suspect arrested in Mexico on 2017 murder charge
 LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man wanted in the 2017 killing of the mother of his young child in South Los Angeles has been arrested in Mexico, authorities said.Andres Zambrano, now believed to be 30 years old, had been sought by the FBI for his alleged involvement in the March 16, 2017, death of the woman, who was the mother of his then-2-year-old child, officials said. Zambrano allegedly shot the victim in the street in front of her home. Zambrano had been considered one of the FBI Los Angeles field office's most wanted fugitives and his case had been highly publicized by authorities in an attempt to determine his whereabouts. |

A Georgia mother is accused of fatally stabbing her two young children before seriously injuring herself with a knife on Friday, authorities said. Berenice Jaramillo-Hernandez, 26, is facing two counts of murder for the alleged afternoon attack on her 5-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter at their home outside Gainesville, the Hall County Sheriff’s Office announced. The children — Mateo Miranda Jaramillo and Katherine Miranda Jaramillo — were found dead at the scene. Jaramillo-Hernandez was hospitalized from her stabbing wounds and will be charged when she is released, authorities said. The mother will also be charged with aggravated assault, the sheriff’s office said. |

man brawled with and pinned down a 19-year-old man who dragged
him out of his car during an attempted carjacking Friday.The suspect, Jayln Moore of Hazel Crest, didn’t know the victim and chose him essentially because he “just saw the victim” and it “looked like a nice car,” prosecutors said. Judge David Navarro on Saturday ordered Moore, who has no criminal record, held on $10,000 bond, meaning he will need to come up with $1,000 to go free until his next court appearance in the case. This was “basically a crime of opportunity” that places “individuals at risk,” Navarro said before setting the bond. Moore is accused of two felonies, attempted vehicular hijacking and unlawful vehicle invasion, in connection with the incident on Friday about 1:25 p.m. in the 300 block of South Wabash Avenue. The victim was talking on his phone while sitting in his car when Moore “flung the door open” and started punching the man in the face with his fist, prosecutors said. He told the victim, “Give it up,” and kept on hitting his chest, while grabbing his body and pulling him out of the car. They began wrestling on the street while the victim “fought back” and screamed to bystanders for help as he pinned Moore to the ground, prosecutors said. |

allegedly beat a man and broke his ankle during a robbery in North

Police say the 20-year-old victim was skateboarding when the suspects in a silver Ford Focus almost hit him. They then got out of the car and began beating him, kicking him in the head and breaking his left ankle. Suspect Nabbed After Man Found Fatally Shot In Stamford
Roadway 
Police have arrested a suspect after finding a
man lying in the roadway following a reported shooting. The
killing took place around 5:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 7 in Stamford at
the intersection of Henry Street at Cedar Street, police said.
When officers responded to the location they found Jeffrey
Vanech, 49, of Stamford, lying in the roadway.
Medical care was rendered and he was transported to Stamford Hospital where he later died from his injuries, according to Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin.
Stamford Police Major Crimes Unit and
Crime Scene Unit investigators responded and were assisted at
the scene by a Stamford Assistant State’s attorney. The
preliminary investigation revealed that Vanech was shot while he
was seated in a parked vehicle. |

a man in a woman’s homicide. Tiffany Osborne’s
body was found in April in an area off Lakeshore Parkway and Turin
Drive by some utility workers. Her body was wrapped in fabric and
had been dumped at the end of a road in an industrial area.

Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives suspect Jamal Harris shot and killed Jessica Troulliet and her father, Robert Templet Jr., leaving their bodies in her SUV in Marrero, after his internet date with the woman didn’t go as planned. Investigators can’t say for sure what set off their suspect in the October double homicide. But from text messages and a statement that Harris, 36, gave them, they pieced together that the pair argued at Troulliet’s home during the date after she tried to get rid of him by pretending she had a rendezvous planned that night with another man, homicide detective Steven Keller said during a court hearing. “She said he did not look like his profile pic, and she [said] he looked like a pumpkin head,” Keller testified Tuesday of Troulliet’s texts. “She told him she had another date, and he had to leave.” Harris, a New Orleans resident, is facing two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Troulliet, 35, and Templet, 56, both of Westwego. released gruesome new details in the case of a Lancaster man accused
of decapitating two of his children as they announced charges in the
case on Wednesday. Maurice Jewel Taylor Sr., 34, was charged with two counts each of murder and child abuse, according to a Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office news release. Taylor is suspected of fatally stabbing two of his children, a 12-year-old son identified as Maurice T. and a 13-year-old daughter identified as Maliaka T., on Nov. 29, prosecutors said. He’s also accused of abusing his two other children, 8- and 9-year-old boys. Taylor allegedly showed his youngest sons the bodies of their decapitated siblings sometime in the five-day period between when they were killed and when they were discovered dead. For several days, the boys were forced to stay in their bedrooms, where they did not receive any food, prosecutors said. Deputies were initially called out to the home in the 45000 block of Century Circle last Friday morning after receiving a report of a gas leak, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department reported. That’s when they found the two slain children, suffering “some type of a sharp trauma,” according to sheriff’s Lt. Brandon Dean. The trauma was from “either a stabbing or slicing device,” he said. |

Two men, including an off-duty police officer, are improving after a
shooting at a Jackson nightclub early Saturday morning, Jackson
Police Department Chief Deputy Deric Hearn said Monday morning. The two gunshot victims were identified as Eddie Colbert, an investigator with the Vicksburg Police Department, and Eric Williams, a security guard for 4th Avenue Lounge. Williams was shot five times after an argument, while Colbert was hit in the face by a stray bullet, Hearn said. The suspect, 29-year-old Jaqwon Jammal Allen, was taken into custody after turning himself in. Allen was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, Hearn said. Donuts in Union
City is recovering after being stabbed by an upset customer.
The disturbing altercation was caught on camera. According to Union
City Police, a customer was upset the store was out of a certain
type of donut. Employees inside the store at the time said the man
and a woman first when through the drive-thru to order food but then
came back a short time later and came into the store. "They both
engaged in a physical dispute between each other and once that
happened then he of course pulled out a knife😀

Texas man Brandon Bernard, 40, is an inmate scheduled for the death penalty at Terre Haute, Indiana. He was involved in the killing of two youth ministers in 1999. Bernard was convicted with four others for the killing of Todd and Stacie Bagley in Killen, Texas, in 1999. The group, all teenagers, held the Bagleys at gunpoint and robbed them before shooting them. They then placed their bodies in the trunk of their car and torched it. Bernard collected the lighter fluid to use on the couple's bodies. A federal jury found Bernard guilty in 2000 of two counts of murder. He was then placed on death row and his execution is scheduled to take place in December 2020. Who are victims Todd and Stacie Bagley? Todd Bagley and Stacie Bagley were Christian youth ministers from Iowa. Before moving to Iowa, Todd had been stationed at Fort Hood, where the couple attended Grace Christian Church and worked with the youth group. A week before their murder, the Bagleys visited Killen to visit their friends and attend a church revival meeting. On June 21, 1999, the couple attended a service before having lunch with friends. The pair stopped at a convenience store to use a payphone before they were approached by gang members Christopher Andre Vialva, Christopher Lewis and Tony Sparks. The teens threatened the couple with a gun, robbed them, and then forced them into the trunk of their car where they were driven around for six hours. Reportedly, the Bagley's spoke with Lewis and Sparks through the rear panel of the car while they were in the trunk. Lewis testified that the Bagleys asked them questions about God, Jesus and church. Vialva declared that the pair had to die because they had seen his face. According to Brown, Stacie's last words were “Jesus loves you” and “Jesus, take care of us.” Christopher Vialva was executed for killing the Bagley's this year after US attorney general William Barr announced the resumption of federal executions in 2019. - (Black-on-White) |

MN (WCCO) — A Twin Cities man is facing charges in connection
to the fatal stabbing of another Minnesotan over the weekend outside
a bar in Hudson, Wisconsin. William Davidson, of Blaine, is charged with being party to first-degree homicide and first-degree attempted homicide, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor battery, court documents filed in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, show. According to a criminal complaint, Davidson was one of a group of people who allegedly fought with bar-goers early Sunday morning in downtown Hudson. Witnesses identified Davidson as one of the people involved in fights that left three people stabbed, one of them fatally. However, Davidson was not the one wielding the knife, witnesses said. On Monday, authorities identified the man fatally stabbed as 26-year-old Cain Solheim of New Brighton. He suffered knife wounds to his lungs, the criminal complaint states. Witnesses reported that Davidson and the other suspects fled Hudson in a van with Minnesota license plates. That van was tracked to Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis. were instead shot by a clerk. Round Lake Beach Police on Wednesday
identified the woman as Feliciyunna S. Spruille, 20, of the
700 block of Lewis Avenue. Spruille was still at Advocate Condell
Hospital in Libertyville Wednesday, where she was being treated for
injuries received Monday night, officials said. After she is
released, Spruille will be transported to the Lake County jail,
police said. Her alleged accomplice, a 16-year-old boy from Waukegan, has also been charged with armed robbery. He has been taken to the Depke Juvenile Detention Center in Vernon Hills, according to police. The pair, police say, attempted to rob the One Stop food and liquor store in the 1000 block of Fairfield Road at about 10:45 p.m. Monday. Police said at least one of them was armed, and that the pair entered the store and ordered the store employees to stand behind a counter. One store employee, though, was able to access a gun and fired on the would-be robbers, authorities said. Both alleged robbers were struck at least once, police said, but were able to reach a getaway vehicle parked outside that was occupied by two other people. The four drove away north on Fairfield Avenue, but Round Lake Heights police spotted the car about a mile north of the store. The vehicle stopped and two occupants fled on foot. Police then arrested the two wounded subjects who were left inside the vehicle, which authorities say was stolen in Kenosha, Wis. Police are continuing to search for the other two accomplices. |

SC (WBTW) — Horry County police arrested a 58-year-old Longs man on
Tuesday after they said he shot a puppy in the head. Gary Wayne Floyd approached a four-month-old stray puppy in a driveway and shot it, according to an incident report. A witness told police the puppy was not attacking anyone or being aggressive. Floyd was going to shoot the puppy days earlier, but was stopped by people at the residence the puppy was at, according to the report. He shot the puppy at about 3:45 p.m. Monday, picked it up and threw it into a water-filled ditch by the road, according to the report. Police found blood and a single shell casing on the ground at the scene. The puppy was retrieved from the ditch and had a bullet hole in its right ear and out the back of its neck. The residents of the home agreed to bury the puppy, according to the report. Floyd told police he shot the dog because his aunt asked him to, according to the report. Floyd has been charged with cruelty to animals. He remained in jail, as of Wednesday morning. |

Officers said Ellis told them he was sorry and asked to make a phone call to his girlfriend’s parents to apologize, according to the report. Neighbors told police they saw Ellis shoot at his girlfriend multiple times in the front yard while she was holding their baby, according to the arrest report. Neighbors then said Ellis picked up the 3-month-old child, who had been shot, and threw the body near a dog kennel before returning to shoot at his girlfriend again. The teens threatened the couple with a gun, robbed them, and then forced them into the trunk of their car where they were driven around for six hours. Reportedly, the Bagley's spoke with Lewis and Sparks through the rear panel of the car while they were in the trunk. Lewis testified that the Bagleys asked them questions about God, Jesus and church. Vialva declared that the pair had to die because they had seen his face. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), sources said. “She was on a mission,’’ a US counter-intelligence official said of Fang — and it included plenty of seduction before the feds got wind of her antics and she vanished in 2015. The idea was for Fang to maneuver herself into key government circles — and sometimes politicians’ beds — to gain personal information about them while ingratiating herself with unwitting potential up-and-coming heavy-hitters, intelligence sources told Axios. Dorothy Bell was charged with 39 counts Wednesday
afternoon including kidnapping, torture, false imprisonment and
assault with a deadly weapon. According to the complaint, Bell is
accused of using a knife, hammer, golf club and firearm to
assault her victim. The complaint explains that she
tortured her ex-girlfriend, “with the intent to cause
cruel and extreme pain and suffering for the purpose of revenge,
extortion, persuasion and for a sadistic purpose.” The victim was found naked with her arms bound behind her back last Friday on a front porch in Stockton. A crisis negotiation team was called to the house in an effort to get Bell out, officials said, but she escaped to a neighboring home with three people inside. Bell broke into a neighbor’s house, confusing the family of four inside. The man tells CBS13 that Bell threatened his family and held a knife to his son’s neck. The homeowner said he spent an hour with Bell and had to fight to get away from her. “I tried to protect myself because she grabbed the knife, right. And then I try to grab the knife from her and pull her out,” he explained. “She tried to get away from me and then she tried to bite me, bite my hand and start fighting.” |

single mother in Mobile. Israel Hall will serve 25 years in prison for the death of DeLauna Anderson in October of 2016, according to officials. According to Mobile police, Hall was with another male named Antonio Lang, who fired shots into Anderson’s vehicle at a stop sign. She drove a short distance before crashing. After finding evidence linking Caporale and Bryant to the crime scene, a close associate of Caporale told detectives that Caporale provided them with details of the murder and said she was surprised that Cosby’s body hadn’t been found yet. |

Prosecutors said the woman noticed her phone lines were cut after the suspect left the home and escaped to a neighbor’s home to call 911. According to her arrest citation, Beverly Chester-Burton crashed her car into a pole in a White Castle parking lot at around 11 p.m. When police arrived, Chester-Burton said she lost control of her car while trying to leave the parking lot, hitting a telephone pole. Witnesses, however, told officers she had been asleep in the drive-thru line and multiple people tried to knock on her window to wake her up. They said Chester-Burton hit the car in front of her, which in turn hit another car, before leaving the line and hitting a pole. After officers smelled alcohol on her breath, Chester-Burton said she had two martinis with dinner at around 5 p.m. Later, police said she changed her story to having dinner at 9 p.m., unaware of the current time. Officers conducted a field sobriety test, where they said she failed to follow multiple instructions. Chester-Burton has no previous arrests. say a black Cleveland man kidnapped a Cuyahoga Falls woman
he knew, killed her mother in Barnesville around 3
a.m. on Thanksgiving day and fled to Cleveland and then Louisiana. That's where Thoue Nichole Bronowski, 45, was rescued Tuesday night after police killed the man in a shootout at a hotel in Pineville, La., about 100 miles northwest of Baton Rouge. An FBI agent was also injured during the gunfight. His condition was not released. The dead suspect was identified as 47-year-old James Edward Hawley, also known as Ahmad Ben David, police said during a Wednesday morning press conference. Bronowski is expected to be reunited with her family soon, authorities said, though she was described as being extremely distraught by the ordeal. Bronowski had not been seen since 6:35 p.m. Nov. 25, according to Cuyahoga Falls police. It is believed that Hawley took her to the home of Bronowski's mother, Norma J. Matko, 68, in Belmont County in the early morning hours Thanksgiving day. Police said Hawley shot and killed Matko and then drove Bronowski to Cleveland in Matko's vehicle, which was later found abandoned and burnt. It is believed Hawley then took Bronowski to Louisiana in a different vehicle. Investigators determined that the suspect posted numerous photos of himself with firearms on social media, with statements saying he wanted "to kill some cops.” Being a felon and in possession of firearms, the FBI pursued federal charges, News 5 Cleveland reported. - (Black-on-White) |

N.C. — A Cramerton man died after being shot during a home
invasion early Monday was defending his family from the intruders,
his girlfriend said. Heidi McQueen said three people broke into their home. She said Brenton Edward McCaskill fought one of the suspects before chasing them outside. That's when he was shot by one of the suspects. "Josh, [my son], and I tried to perform CPR," McQueen said. "But, it was too late." According to the Gaston County Police Department, the incident happened early Monday at McCaskill's home on Fifteenth Street. When Cramerton Police officers got to the home, they found McCaskill suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. McQueen told WCNC Charlotte if it wasn't for Brenton McCaskill's quick actions, she and her two children, as well as her son's boyfriend, wouldn't be alive today.  "Brenton
McCaskill is a hero," McQueen said. "He lived his life a hero, and
he died a hero. He died protecting us." Police identified four
suspects in the case: Jonathan Elijah Jones, Ramon Lopez, Tyler
Leonhardt and Tyler Reno. Jones and Lopez are both
charged with first-degree murder while Leonhardt and Reno
are charged with accessory after the fact. According to arrest
warrants, Leonhardt and Reno are accused of helping to get rid of
the gun used in the shooting.

He has been charged by the Dakota County Attorney’s office with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of kidnapping and one count of second-degree assault in connection to alleged crimes perpetrated in his Lakeville home several hours before he was shot. Investigators said the vehicle Washington and his victim were in crashed just before 8 p.m. near the intersection of Rice Street and Maryland Avenue in St. Paul’s North End neighborhood. Investigators said Washington then broke into a nearby home. The homeowner called 911, and officers soon arrived to find Washington naked and hiding in a dumpster just after 9 p.m. on the 1000 block of Rice Street. St. Paul police said officers tried to talk him out, and one deployed a PepperBall, which is an irritant similar to pepper spray. Washington then climbed out of the dumpster and ran towards the officers. The officers used Tasers and a K-9 officer in an effort to stop him, and then one officer — who a source says is Officer Anthony Dean — shot him at least twice. |

Tuesday, the boy’s great-grandmother told The Post. The 14-month-old toddler, named Kiya, was left with cuts to her stomach after the knife attack in the back room of a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment on Patchen Avenue near Jefferson Avenue around 5 p.m. “I heard the baby crying but it was a normal cry,” Elaine Thomas, the children’s great-grandmother, told The Post. “It wasn’t like screaming or anything.” “I came in and she was covered in blood,” said Thomas, 79. “I held the baby like, ‘What the hell is going on?’ I called her mother and said, ‘Get home quick, fast.'” She said she asked the boy if he had done it, and he answered, “Yes.” He wouldn’t say why, Thomas said. The baby was at Bellevue Hospital on Wednesday morning, where police said her condition had stabilized. The brother, Jamill, who has autism, was taken to the Kings County Hospital Center for a psychological evaluation. Tiffany Douglas, the baby’s 32-year-old mother, left the baby with Thomas while she was out shopping, according to police sources. When she came home, she found her young daughter bleeding and a knife on the scene, the sources said. |

charged with rape and sexual assault of two children. Investigators say 52-year-old Rodney Watkins, founder of the "Powerfulnailya" skateboarding club, allegedly met the children back in 2011 and 2012 when the victims were 11 and 12 years old. The victims reported the incidents to police as adults. Both victims reported interacting with Watkins at several locations including POPS Skatepark at Trenton and Hazzard streets, Whitehall Skatepark at Torresdale Avenue and Wakeling Street, and Paine's Park near the Art Museum. According to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, one victim was a member of a skateboarding team. The other was not a member, but was invited to travel with the team and was also offered meals and gifts from Watkins. The assaults allegedly occurred at Watkins' home during sleepovers and in a hotel room during an out-of-state trip. |

Police Department (IMPD) investigators discovered a group of
four men and one woman was roaming the vicinity of Delaware,
Michigan, Vermont and Talbot Streets, pointing and firing guns and
committing armed robberies of motorists parking their vehicles.
Surveillance video from a nearby parking garage captured the group,
including Marcus Jayon Anderson, who was 23-years-old that

Florida man who shot and wounded a St. Petersburg cop during a
shootout Wednesday was killed after being hit 38 times. Dominique Harris, 20, who was “a person of interest” in a 2019 murder, got into a dramatic, caught-on-video gunfight with police outside a convenience store, with cops firing 50 shots in the exchange, the Tampa Bay Times reported. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualitieri said Harris fired first, shooting at cops “at least four times” with a semiautomatic handgun after he tried to ram a roadblock — hitting one officer. A Queens man was sentenced Wednesday to 21 years in prison for the

CITY (KFOR) – Police have arrested one man in connection to a deadly
shooting that claimed the life of a woman at a gas station. Shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday night, officers were called to a reported shooting at a gas station near N.W. 10th and Western. When officers arrived, they found 31-year-old Jessica Kotulsky dead at the scene. Investigators say she had been shot to death. Authorities learned that a group of men became involved in an altercation that led to the men exchanging gunfire. Officials say Kotulsky was an innocent bystander who was hit by a stray bullet. Investigators say 29-year-old Kemun Davis was identified as one of the people involved in the shooting. He was ultimately arrested on complaints of felony murder and possession of a firearm after a conviction of a felony. Texas (KWTX) – Police in McKinney are investigating a murder-suicide
in a residential neighborhood that left a nurse and her ex-boyfriend
dead. Officers found the bodies of Marjorie Tate, 54, of Van Alstyne and Marcus Tate-Clay, 42, after receiving a report from one of Tate’s children that Tate was missing. Friends and coworkers of Tate told KXII in Sherman she worked as a nurse at Texoma Medical Center, and she was last seen Monday after finishing her shift. McKinney police said when they got to the house in the 6300 block of Canyon Crest Drive they found her dead of a gunshot wound and Tate-Clay, whom they described as Tate’s former boyfriend, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, KXII reported. two years after a Trotwood teenager broke into a home and raped an
unsuspecting woman at gunpoint, a judge sentenced him to 39 years in
prison. William Jones, 18, was sentenced in Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. Authorities said Jones early in the morning on Dec. 3, 2018, used an unlocked door to enter a Trotwood home, where he raped a 24-year-old woman at gunpoint. Two days later, authorities said Jones used an unlocked window to break into a different Trotwood home and raped a 34-year-old woman at gunpoint. Both sex crimes happened in the Salem Village neighborhood. In a trial Jones was found guilty of rape, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and kidnapping in October after he was transferred from the juvenile justice system. Montgomery County Common Pleas Judge Michael Krumholtz said Tuesday he landed on the sentence because of the fear Jones caused. “The sheer terror caused by Mr. Jones to the women is difficult to imagine,” the judge said. |

believe the masked man is connected to two attempted abductions in
Cherry Hill, Camden County. Police are urging the community to stay vigilant. They’re reminding residents to keep their heads up and be aware of their surroundings as they can continue to search for this suspect. Police in two different states have joined forces to track down this monster. “We’re definitely more alert and aware of our surroundings,” one woman said. |

AUSTIN
(KXAN) — A 27-year-old man has been charged with two counts of
felony aggravated assault in connection to what police describe was
a “ random” shooting of two men at a north Austin gas
station Monday morning. According to police, an officer responded to the Mobil Gas Station located 700 block of East St. Johns Avenue near Interstate 35. The officer says he found both victims with gunshot wounds to the head. They were later transported to a nearby hospital, where they’re expected to recover from their injuries. Witnesses described the gunman as wearing red sweatshirt, red sweatpants and a blue backpack. Officers were then able to track Dante Crawley, who they say matches that description, to a nearby hotel. Detectives later reviewed the gas station’s surveillance footage and say they saw the gunman, also matching Crawley’s description, pacing next to a small group of men in the parking lot. They say the gunman in the video suddenly opened fire while one of the victims was turned away and talking on his cell phone. As the second victim approached the gunman, he was shot in the head, stomach and legs. Detectives say the gunman is then seen leaving the area in the direction of the hotel where Crawley was later detained. Crawley is being held in the Travis County Jail on a $2 million bond. |

District Attorney's Office announced Wednesday. Trevondus Estes, 32, faces 51 counts, including second-degree kidnapping, sexual assault, aggravated robbery and possession of a weapon by a previous offender, the DA's office said. Estes' arrest photo has not been released due to investigations that are underway. |

allegedly punching a cast member at Disney World. Authorities said " Spectacular Blue Smith" was walking toward a ride at Disney’s Animal Kingdom when he made a sneezing gesture and said “coronavirus.” The cast member told authorities he told Smith that he was not funny, to which Smith allegedly replied, “I thought it was.” The cast member then asked Smith to leave the line twice, but Smith refused. When the cast member tried to block smith from continuing in the line, the arrest report says Smith punched him twice. The cast member was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Smith was arrested and faces a battery charge for the incident. Smith has since posted bond. |

Rapper Casanova Among 18 Alleged Gang Members Facing Murder,

on Tuesday announced the indictment of 18 people, including New York
City rapper Casanova, in connection to a litany of

and fraud offenses. Acting U.S. Attorney Audrey Strauss and other law enforcement officials issued a statement accusing those named in the indictment of being part of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, operating in New York City and part of New York state. fraudulent EDD cards between them, Glendale police said Tuesday. Stephan Morgan, 34, of Canoga Park, was stopped by Glendale police officers because he was standing among cars parked in a lot in the area of San Fernando Road and Alameda Avenue at about 11 p.m. Monday. Zenia West, 34, of Valley Village, was sitting in the driver’s seat of one of the vehicles, which had expired tags, police said. According to Glendale police, both consented to a search of their vehicles. Officers found an EDD card issued to another person and a semi-automatic “ghost gun” pistol — a weapon with no serial numbers or identifying markers — loaded with a 17-round high capacity magazine in West’s car, along with names, birthdates, addresses and social security numbers on his phone, Glendale police said. |

daughter Zara Scruggs. Authorities say Zara was sexually assaulted by Stevens before she died. Investigators found that prior to calling 911, Stevens had conducted multiple Google searches on his cellphone with subjects relating to, “If baby stop breathing,” “What if you don’t hear a baby heart beat,” “My baby isn’t breathing,” and “How do you know if a baby is dead,” for about and hour before calling 911. |

The alleged ringleaders, Sarah Kaplan and Ibrahim Aksakal, both residents of Long Island, New York, brazenly advertised their services on Turkish-language Facebook pages and websites with titles like “My baby should be born in America,” prosecutors said. The defendants are accused of providing expectant mothers a full-service experience: lodging in New York, transportation, help applying for citizenship for their children, and purported “insurance” to cover all medical costs, which amounted to fraudulently-obtained Medicaid benefits. The cost for these services: roughly $7,500, nearly all in cash, prosecutors said. Between January 2017 and September this year, the suspects were paid approximately $750,000 in fees, and Medicaid disbursed more than $2.1 million in illicitly-obtained benefits, according to prosecutors. |

The divorced mother of two became “totally obsessed” with Jayesh Gobar, whom she had met at work, but the 35-year-old was actually “only interested in her money” to buy drugs, according to the report about the hearing. The relationship took a violent turn at one point and, 18 months before Myers was slain, Gobar wrapped his hands around her neck and threatened to kill her during a robbery at her home, the Hove Crown Court heard. Gobar was convicted and received a three-year prison sentence — but was sprung early in May 2019 and fitted with an ankle bracelet on condition of not contacting Myers or visiting her hometown until April 2021, the Sun reported. Despite the violence and his ensuing conviction, the couple resumed their relationship after she sent him a friend request on Facebook, according to the outlet. not previously identified in an initial report released in October

TARBORO,
N.C. (WNCN) – Edgecombe County deputies say hate crime charges are
possible in a machete attack on Friday. The attack happened Friday
around 9 a.m. at a house on Carr Farm Road in Macclesfield. According to deputies, the suspect, identified as Carlos Antonio Washington, was waiting behind the couple’s house and attacked the homeowner once the victim went inside the house. Deputies said the homeowner fought the suspect off momentarily and deflected the machete. The homeowner’s wife came out with a gun and shot at Washington – ending the attack. The suspect ran to his car and started to drive on U.S. 258 toward Tarboro, deputies said. While deputies were on the way to the scene, Deputy A. Lewis located the suspect’s vehicle. Washington and the couple had no known interactions before. “It was kind of scary,” said neighbor Dereck Draughon. “Everybody knows one another.” Washington was not known to authorities before Friday’s attack. The couple will be OK, deputies said. - (Black-on-White) Deputies said federal hate crime charges are possible as the suspect is a Black Hebrew Israelite who attacked a white family at random. California Supreme Court on Monday upheld the death sentence for a
man convicted of raping and strangling
10 women in Los Angeles. However, the court reversed his
conviction for the death of one victim’s fetus.
Chester
Dewayne Turner, a 54-year-old one-time pizza deliveryman, was
convicted in 2007 of first-degree murder for killing the women over
the course of more than a decade in the 1980s and 1990s. Most
victims were vulnerable women who were homeless, drug users or
prostitutes, prosecutors said. Turner also was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of the female fetus of a woman who was about 6 1/2 months pregnant. During an automatic appeal, the state Supreme Court agreed with defense attorneys who argued that hearsay evidence about the ability of the child to survive outside the womb undermined the second-degree murder conviction. However, the court ruled that error didn’t require throwing out the death sentence for Turner, who is considered one of the city’s most prolific serial killers. |

(CBS) — Philadelphia police are searching for five nig teenagers
who, they say, beat a woman unconscious and stole the woman’s car in
North Philadelphia. The attack happened around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 25.
Police say a 40-year-old woman was getting in her car on the 1700 block of Wylie Street when she was approached by the suspects from behind. The savage suspects then started punching her in the head, police say. The victim was knocked unconscious during the attack. The woman was transported to an area hospital and treated for a broken nose and a concussion. One of the male teenagers entered the woman’s 2007 gray Honda Fit and drove south on Wylie Street. The four other suspects fled on food and were last seen heading north on Wylie Street. The suspects were described as five black males in their teens. All of the teens were wearing hooded sweatshirts, with the hoods up and surgical masks on their faces. |

Pa. (AP) – A former Lehigh University student on Monday admitted
poisoning his roommate’s food and drink with a heavy metal
substance. Yukai Yang, 24, pleaded guilty to
attempted murder. Under the terms of a plea agreement, the
Northampton County District Attorney’s Office will withdraw other
charges in two separate cases against Yang. Yang admitted he purchased thallium in March 2018 and the chemistry major acknowledged he began giving it to his roommate, Juwan Royal. Royal testified in an earlier court hearing that he suffered weight loss, headaches and nausea. The roommate was diagnosed with heavy metal poisoning in April 2018. Yang faces between six to 20 years in state prison when he’s sentenced on Jan. 21. Yang is not a U.S. citizen and the judge told him he will likely face deportation. Yang’s student visa had been revoked after his arrest. |

THANKSGIVING party guest allegedly stabbed his host’s boyfriend to
death after being kicked out for eating food with his bare hands, a
court has heard. James Dixon, 29, plunged his hands into leftover food, causing a heated row, before stabbing the man nine times in his upper body, officials alleged in Chicago. Vincell Jackson, 52, died at hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The Chicago Police said that Dixon was arrested on November 27 at Holy Cross Hospital "after he went to be treated for a small laceration to his neck, and cuts to his finger". The Walmart stock worker had been identified as the person who allegedly stabbed the man "multiple times during an argument the same day in the 6800 block of S. Talman at about 3.15am," police say. The Chicago Tribune reports that the party's host had been concerned about Dixon digging his bare hands into the food. |

tampering with evidence, and driving while intoxicated while
investigators await autopsy results to determine the cause of
Johnson’s death. ABC 13 reports that authorities have security video
that shows Campbell backing up Johnson’s car to a Houston apartment
and loading the 28-year-old Southern Texas University grad’s body
into the trunk early Saturday. In a GoFundMe post, the victim’s aunt
wrote, “She didn't deserve this and we will never understand it.” |

Atmore police looking for suspect in shooting death of

The Atmore Police Department is searching for a 22-year-old man
accused of shooting another male last Friday afternoon. Police are
looking for Rodarious Dailey who is alleged to have shot and
killed a 17-year-old on Harris Street in Atmore on Nov. 27 around
4:30 p.m. Officials were called to the area and upon arrival, found the 17-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. The victim’s name has not been released. According to police, he was then rushed to Atmore Community Hospital where he later died of his injuries. After interviewing witnesses to the incident, they learned that Dailey was seen shooting the 17-year-old while he was sitting in the back seat of a car. |

12-year-old Portland murder. Cristobal
Medrano-Alvarado, 33, was wanted in the killing of

in November 2008. The fugitive was captured in Mexico last March
after the FBI obtained information about his whereabouts.
Prosecutors allege Medrano-Alvarado was one of two
men who broke into an apartment and shot Delgado Morales to

two suspects and the victim worked together on a crew digging
ditches for a gutter company. The other suspect in the case, Jose
Carvajal-Mota, pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge
and after serving an 11-year sentence behind bars was deported

man are accused of beating and torturing him with the

25. Santino Carter, Dominique Beck, and Brian Gray — a man the couple allegedly hired to help with the crime — have all been charged with murder. Johnson had been living with Carter, 38, and Beck in their home for about two years, Cook County prosecutors said Wednesday, adding that the couple collected Johnson’s disability checks to serve as his caretakers. After Johnson was found dead, the couple allegedly told investigators that they had kicked him out of the home two weeks earlier for defecating in their home, in the 6900 block of South Peoria Street. Arrested for sexual assault near Lenox Square The
Atlanta Police Department announced Saturday that an arrest had been
made in the case of the November 6 sexual assault incident near
Lenox Square. The incident in question occurred near the 3300 block
of Peachtree Road. near Lenox Square, wherein a female victim had
been forced to leave with an armed male. The suspect took her to
another location, where the sexual assault actually occurred. The
APD Special Victims Unit canvassed the surrounding area on November
25, while also reaching out to citizens and MARTA Police in the area
for assistance. Only days later on November 27, a MARTA Police
officer recognized the suspect at the MARTA station, at which point
MARTA PD units detained the suspect. APD SVU investigators were
notified immediately, and arrived on scene to take custody of the
suspect. Law enforcement felt they had substantial evidence to arrest the man, identified as 33-year-old Dwayne Bailey, and subsequently charged him with Rape, Aggravated Assault, and Kidnapping. He was then transported to Fulton County Jail. |

ANTONIO – The older brother of a
12-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself in the
head last week is now charged with manslaughter in connection to his
death. Justin Johnson, 21, was arrested Saturday after police said he tried to grab the gun from his younger brother, Cojuan Singleton, with his finger on the trigger before it fired, fatally striking him in the head. The gun was found to have belonged to Johnson, and authorities said it was illegally modified. He claimed he had purchased the gun for protection when he was living on the streets before moving in with his mother. Officers were first called to Johnson’s residence in the 1100 block of Callaghan Road for a report of shots fired on Nov. 13. However, after arriving, police discovered Johnson’s brother had gotten ahold of a loaded gun and accidentally shot himself in the head. The 12-year-old was taken to University Hospital for further treatment, but was later pronounced dead. |

Army National Guardsman in New Jersey on Wednesday on charges of
supporting a foreign terrorist organization, according to the U.S.
Attorney's Office. Maria Bell, 53, was charged in connection to sending money to a member of the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a Syrian terrorist organization fighting the Assad regime, NJ.com reported. HTS was added to the State Department's database in May 2018, establishing the group as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO), the Center for Strategic and International Studies reported. Additionally, the criminal complaint alleged Bell provided advice on weapons and ammunition to the foreign terrorist group. One complaint alleged Bell began communicating with a member of HTS in February 2017, sending thousands of encrypted communications to the person. Federal authorities arrested a former U.S. Army service member and Army National Guardsman in New Jersey on Wednesday on charges of supporting a foreign terrorist organization, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. Ky. — A Shelbyville man has been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of an 83-year-old woman at her home just days before Thanksgiving, officials said. Alvin L. Brooks was arrested on charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence and first-degree robbery, according to records from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Investigators said Brooks is the suspect in the shooting of Deanie Logan, who was found dead Monday at her home on Zaring Mill Road. The coroner's office said the 83-year-old woman died of a gunshot wound. According to the sheriff's office, a witness told police that they spotted a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of the home over the weekend. Investigators were able to track down the vehicle, a white car with plastic over the driver's side window, and also located a firearm they said matched casings found at the victim's home. Brooks allegedly told investigators that he was on Zaring Mill Road Saturday night, but that he had no role in the murder, according to the arrest report. Investigators said they interviewed Brooks' wife who told them that her husband had shot an elderly woman on Saturday and took $500 from the victim. According to the arrest report, Brooks showed his wife the victim's purse and identification before dumping the items in a body of water. POINT, Indiana— A man awoke a Dyer
(Indiana) couple about 5:10 a.m. Monday by repeatedly
ringing their doorbell, dragged
two sheriff's officers with his SUV and ran over one of them
and was arrested in St. John while attempting to change a flat
tire, court records allege. Ernest L. Hoover Jr., of Chicago, left the Dyer couple's home before police arrived, but he returned about 6:15 a.m. and again began repeatedly ringing their doorbell and walking back and forth from their porch to a Cadillac SUV parked in their driveway in the 15000 block of West 103rd Avenue. The couple again called police, and Lake County sheriff's Officer Alex Gallegos arrived and began talking with Hoover, according to Lake Criminal Court records. Gallegos determined Hoover had an active warrant in Lake County and attempted to take Hoover into custody, but Hoover ran from him. Sheriff's Officer Michael Maggi arrived as Hoover struggled with Gallegos, and Maggi began attempting to help Gallegos arrest Hoover. Hoover was able to get back in the SUV and accelerated in reverse, dragging both officers for several feet until they fell off. The SUV hit Maggi in the left leg, knocking him to the side of the vehicle, records state. As Gallegos was dragged, one of his legs hit the concrete and the SUV's tire ran over his right foot. He fell from the vehicle, striking his head on the concrete. A witness told police Hoover appeared to be lining up the SUV to run over the officers again when Maggi drew his gun but didn't fire. Hoover fled the scene and was found behind a business at 93rd Avenue and U.S. 41 in St. John, where he was attempting to change a flat tire on the SUV. Maggi suffered knee and leg injuries. Gallegos suffered injuries to his shoulder, knee and head. Both officers were placed on medical leave. |

(blacks) charged with capital murder in Russell County
 The
Russell County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men in an October
murder case. WTVM is reporting Gary Cochran, 46, and Juavan Williams, 26, were arrested Wednesday and charged with capital murder in the killing of Anthony Wilborn, 39, of Phenix City. Wilborn was last seen October 21 and was missing for nine days before his body was found in a creek in Hatchechubbee. His truck was later found abandoned near Pine Road. Sheriff Heath Taylor said DNA was used in the case. The killing appears to have begun as a robbery. Sheriff Taylor says that the suspects and victim might have been acquaintances. Investigators believe the two men’s asked Wilborn to help jump the vehicle’s battery. Wilborn attempted to help the two when they overcame him. |

Wednesday night shooting in Capitol Heights 
PRINCE
GEORGES COUNTY, Md (ABC7) — A North Carolina man has been charged
with fatally shooting a Prince George's County man on Wednesday
night, according to police. Oflen Drake, 24, of Saint Pauls, NC, is accused of fatally shooting Jamell McEachern, 34, of Capitol Heights. Investigators are saying that Drake shot the victim during a dispute and the two reportedly knew each other. The incident unfolded around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night when police say they were called to the 7000 block of Valley Park Road for a reported shooting. Outside of a home, officers say they found McEachern suffering from a gunshot wound. McEachern was reportedly taken to a local hospital where he died. |

Latin Kings Career criminal slashes NYC correction officer,
captain in Thanksgiving scuffle

career criminal gangbanger with 70 prior busts slashed a correction
officer in the arm and stabbed a captain in the knee at the
Manhattan Detention Complex on Thanksgiving Day, union officials
said Friday. The inmate, identified by a Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association spokesman as Franklyn Dominguez, a member of the Latin Kings, was already fighting with two Correction captains — and waving a sharpened piece of metal — when the officer got out of an elevator at the Lower Manhattan facility and walked right into the fracas in the vestibule. But he began to swing the piece of metal even more violently, slashing the officer in the arm, according to the spokesman. The officers used pepper spray again — at which time the inmate slid to the floor, stabbing the female captain on the knee with the weapon, sources said. The officer, 35, who has been with the department for three years, needed 10 stitches for his injury, and said he needs to take some time off work to recover. “I’m in a little bit of pain,” he said Friday. “I can’t move my arm the way I usually do.” The captain also required stitches, according to the COBA spokesman. |
