A disgruntled Taco Bell employee returned to his old workplace to gun down his manager, a father of seven, a day after he was fired, according to authorities.
Jonathan Morris, 21, shot manager Ryan Johnson in the parking lot of a Cincinnati Taco Bell in August, leaving the family man to die in the parking lot, prosecutors said. “They are devastated by this,” Assistant Prosecutor David Hickenlooper said in court on Thursday of the murdered manager’s large family, according to WXIX. “It was senseless.” It was not immediately clear why Morris was fired the day before the shooting. But the manager was on a break when he was shot, family members told WCPO. Responding cops found Johnson in the Taco Bell parking lot just after midnight with multiple gunshot wounds. |

Timothy Bohler has been in and out of jail since he was a teenager, with a lengthy rap sheet that includes the death of a cancer survivor in Queens while on release from state prison and a rape rap in the Bronx just six months after he got out, records reviewed by The Post show.
At 31, Bohler has 45 busts in all on his rap sheet — 20 of them now sealed — but somehow slipped through the fingers of the criminal justice system for most of his life. His criminal record dates to when he was a troublesome 16-year-old from the Bronx, and most recently includes claims that he sliced off an MTA worker’s fingers with a machete over a dog dispute. “There is no longer any mechanism in law to keep people like this in prison,” one law enforcement source said this week. “With all this bail reform we’re releasing violent people with zero supervision or any rehabilitation. Just giving them another chance to do it all over again.” His latest case came while he was already locked up at Rikers Island on the machete attack, when he was charged on Oct. 9 with hitting and killing pedestrian Lelawattie Narine, a cancer survivor who was out for a walk in Queens on March 22, 2024, when she was struck and killed. Narine’s death came less than two years after Bohler was first paroled from state prison. |

Two brothers allegedly killed their Lyft driver and led Louisiana cops on a wild manhunt across state lines that ended with one of the men being fatally run over and the other arrested.
Tristan Bush, 26, and Ethan Bush, 23, are accused of killing 62-year-old rideshare driver LaWanna Lewis, who was found dead in a ditch in Westlake, La., with multiple gunshot wounds early Friday, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office said. The sheriff’s office opened a tip line and sent out a “Be on the lookout” alert for Lewis’ missing vehicle. That same evening, police received reports that Lewis’ car was spotted just across the Louisiana-Texas border in a Houston area parking lot. Harris County sheriff’s deputies pursued the stolen car, in which the brothers attempted to speed away before abandoning it and fleeing on foot. Ethan Bush didn’t make it very far. While he was trying to cut through a bustling roadway, he was fatally struck by a car, according to the Calcasieu Parish sheriff. Tristan Bush was captured not long after while attempting to hide in a residential neighborhood and was taken into custody by Harris County sheriff’s deputies. The elder brother is waiting to be extradited to Calcasieu Parish to face a second-degree charge for Lewis’ murder. His bond was set at a staggering $2.5 million. The recently freed maniac who stabbed a 6-year-old boy to death in a random Kentucky home invasion in 2015 was rearrested in Florida on Thursday afternoon, officials announced.
Ronald Exantus — who was released last week after serving just eight years for the heinous killing — was booked into Marion County Jail for violation of parole and failing to register as a convicted felon, according to prison records and the state’s attorney general. “My office has been working with State Attorney [Bill] Gladson’s office in Marion County since we were alerted that this dangerous individual who murdered a child by repeatedly stabbing him in the head was in Florida,” AG James Uthmeier wrote on X Thursday. “[T]he Marion County Sheriff’s Office and 5th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office obtained a warrant for the arrest of Ronald Exantus for failure to register as a convicted felon,” he continued. In 2018, Exantus was sentenced to only 20 years in prison for the 2015 home-invasion killing of 6-year-old Logan Tipton, whom he stabbed repeatedly in the head with a kitchen knife while the child slept in his bed. Several of Logan’s family members were also stabbed during the invasion and witnessed the blood-curdling murder of the helpless boy. Lawyers for Exantus successfully argued in court that he was criminally insane and thus not liable for the grisly killing. He was instead convicted of assault charges and was sentenced to two decades behind bars. However, he was outrageously released after serving only eight years of that sentence. The Tipton family expressed fear and rage at the release of their beloved Logan’s killer. The child’s father vowed to settle the score if he ever saw Exantus again. “He told [my daughter] that he was going to kill every one of us. So now I’ve gotta be on extra guard to protect my kids because I will not lose another one,” dad Dean Tipton told Fox56. “I’ve had my talks with God ’cause I’m not afraid to tell you all, I told the court — if I ever cross paths with him, I will kill the man. Javian Adams was arrested Tuesday in the double homicide at his family’s Waterbury home on Monday, NBC Connecticut reported. Woman Shoots [BLACK] Man Accused of Filming Himself Raping Her at Gunpoint
An accused rapist was arrested in Indiana after authorities found him suffering from a gunshot wound allegedly inflicted by his victim, according to reports.
The disturbing incident unfolded on Tuesday afternoon in Indianapolis. A woman told police that a man had walked into her residence, pointed a gun at her head, and proceeded to rape her while filming the attack with his cell phone, Fox 59 reports. As he fled the home, the victim retrieved her own firearm and fired several shots at his vehicle, prompting a neighbor to alert the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). The victim identified the suspect as 23-year-old Trevon Haynes. Approximately an hour later, an officer on patrol spotted the suspect’s vehicle parked with its hazard lights flashing on a residential road. The officer noticed the driver had been shot in the leg and also located a pistol inside the vehicle. Haynes was arrested and charged with rape, burglary, and intimidation while armed with a deadly weapon. |
