Black police officer Serving Life For Double Murder Gets Medical Furlough Due To COVID-19
black suspectCHICAGO (CBS) — A former Elgin police officer who was serving a life sentence at Stateville Correctional Center for a double murder and rape 38 year ago was just given a medical furlough, possibly because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Herschel Glenn was a police officer, but off duty, when he shot and killed a young Streamwood couple — James Wright and Lillian Final — at Lords Park in Elgin, and raped the woman, in May 1982. He was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison.

  • The names of the victims sound 'White'
  • People v. Glenn
    Opinion filed October 21, 1985.” People v. Glenn, 137 Ill. App. 3d 803, (Ill. App. Ct. 1985)
The body was James Wright's. He had been shot seven times, including three times in the head.

At 9:30 a.m. police were informed that Lillian Final's nude body had been discovered at the Stewart-Warner building near Elgin. She had been shot five times and projectiles found near the building as well as those recovered from her body had all been fired from the same .38-caliber revolver used to kill Wright. Tests conducted on a swab taken of Final's vagina indicated the presence of semen which could have come from defendant but could not have come from Wright.
Pubic hairs found in defendant's undershorts and his automobile were consistent with Final's but not with Wright's or defendant's. Blood on defendant's jeans and sportcoat could have come from  Wright but not from Final or defendant.

(black) Teen was driving aggressively before intentionally accelerating toward skateboarder in deadly parking lot crash
black suspectVancouver, WA (KPTV) -- The 18-year-old man accused of hitting and killing a skateboarder in a Vancouver parking lot on Wednesday claims he was trying to scare the victim by driving toward him, according to court documents.

Joshua Lamont Jones (18) is facing a charge of second-degree murder. He is scheduled to make a first court appearance Thursday morning. The charge stems from an investigation that began Wednesday when officers responded to the report of a pedestrian who was hit in a parking lot in the 5000 block of East Fourth Plain Boulevard.

At the scene, officers found a man, identified by court documents as 45-year-old William Miller, underneath a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that had been driven by Jones. Miller was transported to an area hospital in critical condition and later died.

According to court documents, Jones told police that he was driving through the parking lot eastbound from General Anderson to avoid traffic lights on Fourth Plain Boulevard and drove past Miller, who was on a skateboard. Jones told police that Miller (allegedly) had an object in his hand which he thought could be a knife.

Court documents state that Miller struck Jones' driver's side window with his fist as Jones drove past. Jones told police that he was not afraid of being hurt by Miller, but was angry that Miller had (allegedly) struck his window.

According to court documents, Jones then made a U-turn, accelerated toward Miller and hit him. Jones told police that he intended to swerve out of the way before hitting Miller, but claimed Miller jumped in the same direction that he swerved.

Jones told police that he intended "to scare him" by driving his vehicle toward Miller. He also stated that he knew if he hit Miller, he knew it would cause serious injury or death.

Witnesses told police that they saw the Hyundai driving aggressively through the parking lot before the crash. Witnesses also reported that it appeared the Hyundai drove close to Miller while in the parking lot.

(White female) Indiana Postal Worker Shot Dead After Refusing to Deliver Mail to (Black) Man With Aggressive Dog
black suspectAn Indiana man charged with murdering a U.S. postal worker this week admitted he confronted her because his mail delivery had been suspended due to his “aggressive dog,” prosecutors said.

Tony Cushingberry-Mays, 21, was charged with second-degree murder, assaulting a federal employee, and discharging a firearm during a crime for the death of Angela Summers, a 45-year-old postal worker who was gunned down Monday afternoon during her mail delivery route in east Indianapolis, according to the United States District Court of Southern Indiana.

The mother-of-one, who had joined the U.S. Postal Service in 2018, died in the hospital.
According to federal law, killing an on-duty federal employee can be punishable by death or a life sentence. To date, the Bureau of Labor Statistics says four postal workers have been killed during workplace homicides in the last seven years.

“Angela was such a joy to be around, she was such a breath of fresh air. This is the worst thing that’s happened in my career,” Paul Toms, president of the National Association of Letters Carriers’ Indianapolis branch, told The Daily Beast on Wednesday. “This is a federal crime, but more importantly this is a senseless crime that should have never happened. It breaks my heart.”

Summers, a city carrier assistant at the USPS Linwood Indianapolis Post Office, was delivering mail at about 4 p.m. Monday when she bypassed Cushingberry-Mays’ home in compliance with a suspension that had been put in place until he contained his dogs.
An angry Cushingberry-Mays approached Summers on his neighbor's front porch, standing about 6 feet away, and repeatedly asked her for the mail. Cushingberry-Mays was allegedly upset about not getting his COVID-19 stimulus check when he confronted Summers. Summers, however, could not deliver his mail “because she was having a problem with the dog at his residence,” the complaint said, adding that Summers had reported “several issues” with the dog, which had resulted in mail being held.

Prosecutors said the USPS Linwood Indianapolis Post Office last sent a letter to the Cushingberry-Mays residence on April 13 indicating they would have to pick up mail from the post office. Toms said that, in compliance with USPS guidelines, Summers had reported an issue with dogs at the home. After three warning letters were sent, mail had been blocked from the home for about two weeks and “wasn’t even given to Angela that day of the incident.”

“She was just following protocol, and the Postal Service curtailed the mail. It was not her fault that she didn’t have the mail that day,” Toms said. “My understanding is that she tried to explain that the mail could be picked up at another location and an argument ensued. I heard she was called horrible, horrible names.”  The postal worker’s response triggered an argument, escalating to the point that Summers had to use pepper spray on the 21-year-old.

“Cushingberry-Mays then pulled his handgun from the right side of his waistband (no holster), pointed his handgun at the letter carrier, and fired one shot at the letter carrier,” the criminal complaint states. “He acknowledged the mace was not deadly but led to discomfort from his asthma.” Cushingberry-Mays admitted in a Tuesday interview with police that he ran away after shooting Summers, first going to his aunt’s house before hiding the gun in the garage at his mother’s. He told authorities “he did not mean to kill the letter carrier but wanted to scare her.”
Union Sister Angela Summers passed away this evening, 4/27/2020. She worked at the Lynwood Station in Indianapolis,...

As little black girl fights to recover from accidental shooting by black brother, their black mom is charged
black suspectblack suspect The mother of a 2-year-old girl who was accidentally shot by her 8-year-old brother has been charged with cruelty to children in the second degree, according to authorities.

The incident happened April 13 in the 800 block of Cummings Road in Evans. Authorities have said the mother left her children alone in a room. As they watched television, the boy found a gun and began playing with it, authorities say. The girl was shot in the abdomen by accident.

The mother, Stephanie LaWanda Thomas, was charged and released Tuesday after posting a $22,800 bond, according to authorities. Doctors didn't think the girl, Joelle Denise Curry, would make it through that first night after the shooting. But two weeks and eight surgeries later, she is still here, and she's still fighting. "I don't know. It's just hard right now," her mother, Thomas, told News 12 on Tuesday, apparently before she was arrested.

HISPANIC Man accused of shooting 3 Chandler officers identified, facing attempted murder charges
The man accused of shooting three Chandler police officers, barricading himself inside a home and later starting a fire inside the home on Monday was identified as 35-year-old Rigoberto Polanco Jimenez, police officials said Tuesday.
Jimenez told police of his involvement in Monday's events, and he is suspected of being involved in a shooting on Friday, according to Maricopa County court records. He is being held in a Maricopa County jail.
The series of events began around 1 a.m. when Chandler officers were patrolling near Delaware Street and Chandler Boulevard and noticed Jimenez's "suspicious behavior," according to court records. An officer saw him pull on car door handles, "a common practice of vehicle burglars," Chandler Police Department spokesman Det. Seth Tyler said.  Officers tried to stop Jimenez but he ran and shot an officer in the leg.

"Jimenez continued running northbound and began jumping fences through backyards, cutting his hand and leaving a blood trail along his route," according to court records.  Later, video surveillance from neighbors showed Jimenez traveling near a home on north Delaware Street near Galveston Street that was not his. Residents at that home allowed detectives inside around 7:15 a.m. to search for "any unknown persons." Six officers went into the house and found Jimenez hiding in the bathroom.
Jimenez shot at the officers, hitting one in the upper chest/shoulder and another in his waist/pelvic area.
According to police, the second officer shot was wearing a bulletproof vest, but he had a laceration on his head. The gunfire hit the third officer in his magazine holder.

"Suspected" neo-Nazi sentenced to 2 1/2 years in gun case
A "suspected" neo-Nazi was sentenced to 30 months in prison on a weapons charge Tuesday after he and a reputed hate group leader were pulled over in Texas late last year.

Aiden Bruce-Umbaugh, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of firearms and ammunition by a prohibited person in January, the U.S. Attorney's Office or the Northern District of Texas said in a statement.

Bruce-Umbaugh was a passenger in a Ford Focus driven by Kaleb Cole, the alleged leader of the Washington cell of the Atomwaffen Division, when Cole was pulled over for speeding in Post, Texas, in November.

Authorities found three rifles and a pistol in the car as well as a small canister of marijuana and a vial of THC oil. Bruce-Umbaugh said he was the owner of the guns and drugs.

The guns in the car were described as an AR-15 rifle, two AK-47 rifles and a Sig Sauer 9 mm pistol.

Cole is the
alleged leader of a Washington state cell of the Atomwaffen Division, an (alleged) "hate group". He was not charged in the traffic stop, but in Washington state, a judge had previously ordered his guns seized under the state's red-flag law.

It is illegal for someone who is the "unlawful user" of a controlled substance, like marijuana, to possess guns, the U.S. attorney's office said. After the stop, Bruce-Umbaugh allegedly told investigators he smoked marijuana every day.

Prosecutors argued that Bruce-Umbaugh is a member of the
Atomwaffen Division and that in jailhouse phone calls, he referred to "the group" and declared he was a "Nazi."

Nealy Cox, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, said in a statement in January after Bruce-Umbaugh pleaded guilty that "The Northern District of Texas is committed to keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous individuals," and that a drug user never should have had the weapons.

Trump says ex-aide Flynn to be 'exonerated' despite guilty plea
Washington (AFP) - President Donald Trump said Thursday that his former national security advisor Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying about his Russia contacts, would be absolved by a Washington court, calling FBI investigators in his case "filthy cops."
Trump said fresh documents that surfaced in Flynn's case showed he was mistreated and should be freed by a court currently weighing his sentence. "He's in the process of being exonerated. If you look at those notes from yesterday, that was total exoneration," said Trump.

"These were dirty, filthy cops at the top of the FBI."

"Now we have to see what's going to happen but General Flynn was treated like nobody ... in this country should be treated."

Markel Anthony Atkinson, 22, of Bishopville, was located at a home on Horsepen Road in Lee County and was taken into custody after a short foot chase, McGirt said. Atkinson’s girlfriend, Tracy Angela Legg, 25, of Sumter, was taken into custody without incident later at her home. Both suspects are reportedly charged with murder and armed robbery, McGirt said. Atkinson is additionally charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Keith N. Terrell, 30, is also facing a Level 3 charge of aggravated battery for his role in the incident, and he is currently being held without bond at the Howard County jail. The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday when Terrell and an unidentified male — along with that male’s family members — were involved in a verbal altercation inside the store that carried over to a physical argument near the front checkout section, according to a probable cause affidavit filed through the Howard County Prosecutor’s Office.

The owner of that truck contacted authorities later Saturday evening and stated that he had located a Glock Model 19 Gen 5 9mm handgun in the bed of his truck and didn’t know how the firearm ended up there, the release stated.          Dec 31, 2019 - Happy New Year - The witness said a black male was trying to drag a white female into a wooded area
black suspectA 51-year-old California man has been formally charged in the weekend abduction and assault of a woman in Brookside.
Sean E. Sanders was arrested Sunday in a 1997 Ford Aerostar Cargo van equipped with a cage in the back, wire cages over the windows and blankets covering the walls to prevent anyone from seeing inside. The doors were also chained shut from the inside.

Initially, it looked like Sanders was prepped for the worst-case scenario – a planned abduction with the intent to possibly hold the woman hostage or even trade her in some kind of human trafficking operation. It had all the makings of the stuff of the public’s nightmares of late.  “We believe they may know each other through a street relationship.” The ordeal began at 2:45 p.m. when a citizen notified Brookside police of a kidnapping in progress of a white female on Brookside Coalburg Road. The witness said a black male was trying to drag a white female into a wooded area until he spotted the witness and then forced the victim into a white van.

“I believe God placed him there for a reason,’’ Jones said of the witness. - (Black-on-White)

SAN ANTONIO - A teenage girl has been arrested after she allegedly carjacked a man at gunpoint who gave her and her friend a ride. This is now the second time she's been accused of eerily similar crimes.

Alyssa Espino, 17, was first arrested Friday, after she and three juvenile friends lured a man through the social media app MocoSpace. An affidavit said she lured the 42-year-old man through the app to pick her up April 23 around 3:30 a.m.

Once there, Espino and her friends carjacked the man before shooting him 'several' times. Four days after her arrest, SAPD said it met with another victim. This victim, a 20-year-old man, said he gave Espino and her friend a ride on April 11. During the ride, Espino allegedly wanted to drive, so the victim got out to let her. She then pulled out a gun and locked him out of his own car before her and her friend sped off. The victim later provided an Instagram photo of her, which showed 'unique identifiable tattoos and a possible first name,' according to court records.

(Black) Suspect accused of killing BRPD officer, critically wounding another previously threatened to kill officers

(black) Police: Man ambushed police; stood over body, kept shooting
black suspect  A man accused of murder ambushed two officers sent to interview him about a killing hours earlier, then stood over a dead officer’s body while continuing to shoot him, according to police documents released Monday.

Ronnie DeWayne Kato Jr. of Baton Rouge had threatened years earlier to kill police if his girlfriend called them, one statement said.

The second ambushed officer remained in critical condition Monday afternoon but was alert and talking, said Sgt. L'Jean McKneely Jr., a Baton Rouge police spokesman. “So he's doing a lot better” and his condition may be upgraded, he said.

Police released two statements filed for the arrest of 36-year-old Kato, who was taken into custody after a standoff that followed the second shooting Sunday. Police have not identified the officers, describing one as a 21-year law enforcement veteran and the other as a seven-year officer. Their names may be released Tuesday, McKneely said.

Kato was arrested on two counts of murder, six counts of attempted murder, five counts of home invasion and one of aggravated battery. McKneely said he did not know whether Kato has an attorney who could speak for him. Attempts to reach Kato's family members were not successful.

According to the affidavit supporting the first warrant for Kato, his girlfriend of 18 years had taken refuge at her mother's house after an argument, went out because her car horn was beeping and went back in when she saw Kato. He kicked down the door and pistol-whipped her. Her mother stopped him, but he went out and came back in with a rifle, killing a man — one of five adults living there. Police identified the man as Curtis Richardson, 58, news outlets reported.

The second statement said the officers were sent for a “knock and talk” with Kato, and went to the backyard to keep him from escaping that way. One witness saw Kato there just before the shooting and another — a relative — saw him there immediately afterward, the affidavit said.

Evidence, including what appeared to be close-contact wounds, indicated that Kato had stood over the dead officer's body and kept shooting him, the statement said.

It noted that both shootings used the same type of gun and quoted Kato's girlfriend as telling police in 2017 that he would “Gavin Long” police if she filed a report about him.

Gavin Eugene Long was a member of a black anti-government movement who shot six police officers in 2016, killing three and wounding the others. He was arrested after an hours long standoff in which shots were exchanged with a SWAT team.

MUSLIM MIGRANTS TO ENGLAND SET UP GANGS TO DEFILE AND PIMP YOUNG ENGLISH GIRLS
Member of grooming gang jailed for four years for raping girl, 13
The 35th member of a notorious Huddersfield grooming gang has been jailed for repeatedly raping an underage girl. Manzoor Akhtar, 31, has been sentenced to more than four years in jail for raping a young girl when she was just 13. The assaults took place during 2005 and 2006 in the West Yorkshire town, Leeds Crown Court heard. Another gang member, Shaqeel Hussain, has had 12 months added to his prison sentence after he admitted to committing an indecent assault on a 16-year-old girl between 2004 and 2005. He can only be named now as reporting restrictions were lifted after he pleaded guilty. Hussain, 36, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, is already serving an eight-year prison sentence for raping a 14-year-old girl after going to trial in February.

The latest convictions mean a total of 35 men have now been jailed as part of Operation Tendersea, a multi-agency investigation into historic child sexual exploitation in Huddersfield. Multiple men in the town raped girls – many of whom were underage – between 1995 and 2011. The combined sentences so far come to more than 380 years between the men. Detective Chief Inspector Richard McNamara of the Kirklees District CID, said: ‘Akhtar richly deserves the prison sentence he has been given after being found guilty and convicted for the dreadful sexual abuse of this young victim.  - (UK)

    • UK: Huddersfield grooming gang
However, the restrictions on reporting was criticised by the far right, who claimed that it was a cover-up as its perpetrators were "Asian" and "Muslims", and that it amounted to "state censorship". Far right activist Tommy Robinson streamed video from outside the court on Facebook during the second of the trials, filmed some of the accused and talked about Muslims and "jihad rape gangs", which led to his arrest and prosecution. He received a 13-month jail sentence for contempt of court in May 2018, but was released in August 2018 after he won his challenge against the ruling in the Court of Appeal. The case was referred to the attorney general, and Robinson was given a nine-month sentence in July 2019 in a retrial.

The first 20 men convicted are all of Asian – mainly Pakistani – origin. Their ringleader was Amere Singh Dhaliwal, a British Indian, who converted to Sikhism in 2013. One of the grooming gang members, Sajid Hussain, fled during the trial and was sentenced in his absence.   Umar Zaman fled to Pakistan and was sentenced in his absence.

A former 15-term New York City congressman is a “sexual predator” who allegedly violated a teen at an upstate Boy Scout camp, according to a shocking lawsuit filed last week naming the life-long Democrat.

More than a decade before Gary Ackerman, 76, was first elected to Congress, he worked as a camp director when the lurid incident allegedly took place on an abandoned road within the sprawling, 12,000-acre Ten Mile River Camp property near Narrowsburg.

The anonymous victim was 17 in August, 1966 when, he claims in Manhattan Supreme Court papers, Ackerman manipulated him into taking a ride. Once secluded on the back road, Ackerman, who was 23-years-old at the time, is accused of trying to touch and fondle the teen before forcing oral sex, the victim charges. (of course "innocent until proven guilty by a jury of his peers)

Sen. Cotton says Chinese students shouldn’t be allowed to study science in US
[They are mostly all here as SPIES to STEAL technology from the US]
He told host Maria Bartiromo that he believes it’s a “scandal” that US educational institutions have trained “so many of the Chinese Communist Party’s brightest minds” to return home and steal US jobs and “design weapons and other devices that can be used against the American people.”

“So I think we need to take a very hard look at the visas that we give the Chinese nationals to come to the United States to study, especially at the post-graduate level in advanced scientific and technological fields,” he said.

“If Chinese students want to come here and study Shakespeare and the Federalist Papers, that’s what they need to learn from America. They don’t need to learn quantum computing and artificial intelligence from America.”

Cotton is among a number of lawmakers who have accused China of downplaying the severity of the coronavirus after first reporting cases of it last December in the city of Wuhan.

Cotton said the Chinese Communist Party was “both criminally negligent and incompetent” in the early stages of how it reacted to the outbreak and later “deliberately malevolent in the way they responded to this virus, for their own people and the world.”
