The accused predator approached the preteen and grabbed her as she entered her Cooper Houses building on Morgan Avenue near Jackson Street in Williamsburg around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police said. The two sophomores agreed to fight at a nearby park after school after Redding reportedly refused to apologize to Dalmacy for the accidental bump, Mina said. |

A woman has been handed a life sentence without the possibility of parole for the fatal stabbing of a three-year-old boy outside a supermarket.
Bionca Ellis, 34, of Cleveland, remained expressionless as Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John Russo imposed the sentence on Monday. The court heard Ellis was responsible for the northeast Ohio attack in June 2024 that killed Julian Wood and injured his mother, Margot Wood. Earlier in October, a jury found Ellis guilty of aggravated murder, felonious assault, child endangering, and aggravated theft. She has been held in custody on a $5 million bond since her indictment last year. Authorities said Ellis entered the Giant Eagle grocery store in North Olmsted armed with two knives that she had stolen from the Volunteers of America Thrift Store next door. They said she spotted Julian and his mother near the front and followed them into the parking lot. The mother was about to load her groceries into her vehicle when Ellis ran at them with a knife, stabbing the toddler twice before walking away. The boy died at a hospital while Margot Wood was treated for a shoulder stab wound. Prosecutors said she tried to pull her son out of the cart during the attack. A disgruntled Taco Bell employee returned to his old workplace to gun down his manager, a father of seven, a day after he was fired, according to authorities.
Jonathan Morris, 21, shot manager Ryan Johnson in the parking lot of a Cincinnati Taco Bell in August, leaving the family man to die in the parking lot, prosecutors said. “They are devastated by this,” Assistant Prosecutor David Hickenlooper said in court on Thursday of the murdered manager’s large family, according to WXIX. “It was senseless.” It was not immediately clear why Morris was fired the day before the shooting. But the manager was on a break when he was shot, family members told WCPO. Responding cops found Johnson in the Taco Bell parking lot just after midnight with multiple gunshot wounds. |

However, the charges were dismissed in May when the accuser stopped showing up for court — until King was eyed in the recent disappearance of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old who vanished on Oct. 4. |

NYC machete maniac who sliced worker’s fingers off was on supervised release when he killed woman in crash: records

Timothy Bohler has been in and out of jail since he was a teenager, with a lengthy rap sheet that includes the death of a cancer survivor in Queens while on release from state prison and a rape rap in the Bronx just six months after he got out, records reviewed by The Post show.
At 31, Bohler has 45 busts in all on his rap sheet — 20 of them now sealed — but somehow slipped through the fingers of the criminal justice system for most of his life. His criminal record dates to when he was a troublesome 16-year-old from the Bronx, and most recently includes claims that he sliced off an MTA worker’s fingers with a machete over a dog dispute. “There is no longer any mechanism in law to keep people like this in prison,” one law enforcement source said this week. “With all this bail reform we’re releasing violent people with zero supervision or any rehabilitation. Just giving them another chance to do it all over again.” His latest case came while he was already locked up at Rikers Island on the machete attack, when he was charged on Oct. 9 with hitting and killing pedestrian Lelawattie Narine, a cancer survivor who was out for a walk in Queens on March 22, 2024, when she was struck and killed. Narine’s death came less than two years after Bohler was first paroled from state prison. |
