Three worthless blacks arrested in connection to fatal beating of WHITE Ohio teen Ethan Limingโ Three fatherless violent killer jungle apes - one with green-vomit-colored-"dreds" captured. 
Three men have been arrested in connection to the killing of a teenager outside LeBron James-founded Ohio high school in early June, federal authorities announced Saturday.
Ethan Liming, 17, was found beaten to death on June 2 in the parking lot of I Promise School in Akron. In a press release, the US Marshals Service revealed that the federal entityโs Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force and Akron Police on Saturday morning arrested Deshawn Stafford Jr., 20, Tyler Stafford, 19 and Donovon Jones, 21, at two different residential buildings in Akron. Liming was brutally beaten to death at around 10:46 p.m. on June 2. Authorities have said the teen died from blunt force trauma to the head after he drove around with his friends and shot a water gun at people. Liming was lying on the ground in the parking lot when police arrived, officials have said. They were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. โI am happy to report that today, officers with the Akron Police Department, made several arrests in connection with the death of Ethan Liming. We thank the members of the community for their outpouring of support that helped investigators throughout this investigation,โ said Akron Police Chief Stephen Mylett in the news release. โWhile I believe the news of the arrests will be welcomed by Ethanโs family and loved ones, we all recognize that nothing will bring Ethan back,โ he added. โViolence in this country must stop. We are losing too many lives to senseless acts of violence.โ Akron Mayor Dan Horrigan said that Limingโs โsenseless and tragic death has touched every person in our community.โ โMy thoughts and prayers remain with the entire Liming family at this time,โ he said. โThis crime impacted an entire community and we stand alongside the community in seeking justice for Ethan,โ U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said in a statement. Police said โthat in the moments leading up to the incident, one or more occupants in the [Liming]โs vehicle were riding around the surrounding area shooting a SPLATRBALL Water Bead Blaster at objects and possibly unsuspecting people,โ according to a statement cited by Fox News. They then drove to the basketball courts, where the group of teens โtargeted or approached the subjects who were on the court and fired the gel soft gun at them,โ in an incident that apparently provoked the killers. On Thursday, police offered a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to the arrest of Limingโs killers, according to a local report. Limingโs father, Bill, told Fox News in a story published Friday that his son was a loving and charitable person with a โbright futureโ ahead. (Black) Suspect in WHITE Tallahassee PD officerโs death has history of domestic violence and drug charges
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The man suspected of ramming a patrol car and killing a Tallahassee police officer Wednesday has served time in prison for domestic violence and cocaine sales, public records show.
Tyrone Cleveland is accused of shooting three members of his family at a home on Saplin Court early Wednesday morning, then crashing into a Tallahassee Police Department officer Christopher Farielloโs car about an hour later at the intersection of Capital Circle NW and Northwest Passage. Leon County court records show Cleveland was charged with a violent domestic attack in November 2012 and later entered a plea to multiple felonies, including aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, domestic battery by strangulation, child abuse and more. WCTV has requested copies of those arrest reports. Cleveland was also charged with resisting officers with violence, as members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force tried to arrest him in a motel room a few days later. Those arrest records say Cleveland was tased twice after reaching under the bed and kicking the two officers trying to handcuff him. Officers also described suspected cocaine in plain view in the motel room and razor blades swirling in the bottom of the toilet. Leon County court records show Cleveland was sentenced to four years in state prison, and Florida Department of Corrections records show he was released in August 2016. Leon County court records show Cleveland was also wanted in Georgia on cocaine charges and Florida DOC records show that Georgiaโs Department of Corrections had issued a detainer for him upon his release. A search of GDCโs online records indicates Cleveland has a history of drug arrests โ including the sale of cocaine โ in Grady County. HUMBLE, Texas โ A man who is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend's 16-year-old daughter faced a judge Monday morning.
Van Brisbon, 60, is charged with murder in connection with the death of 16-year-old Lauren Juma, a sophomore at Nimitz High School. He was being held on a $1 million bond in the Harris County Jail. However, the judge increased the bond to $2 million after Monday's hearing. More details were revealed over the weekend about what happened on Friday morning when the teen was shot and killed at a home in the 20400 block of Canton Trace near FM 1960 and Lee Road. This all started at 1 a.m. when Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables responded to a weapons disturbance when Laurenโs sister called and said her motherโs boyfriend was holding her 16-year-old sister captive inside their home. "She just wanted to get away, that's all she wanted," Keryca Harmon, the victim's sister, said. "She just said he was being really weird and wanted me to pick her up." When deputies arrived, they said they heard a gunshot and then screaming, investigators said. The deputies then heard a second shot shortly after. (Black) Georgia man kills daughter, then himself, after fatally shooting baby's mother and injuring grandmother
COVINGTON, Ga. โ
A man fatally shot his infant daughter before killing himself in Georgia on Sunday morning after kidnapping the baby from her mother, according to police.
Darian Bennett also shot and killed the baby's mother and injured the baby's grandmother by gunfire at their home in Covington on Saturday night, Sergeant Jack Redlinger from the Newton Sheriff's office told CNN. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) identified the infant as Jaquari Bennett. Authorities have not yet identified the baby's mother or grandmother. Covington police received a 911 call shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Saturday about an individual who was shot in the area, Redlinger said, and officers encountered two unidentified juveniles, ages 11 and 12, once they arrived at the location. When the officers entered the home, they found a woman's deceased body and an older woman with multiple gunshot wounds. The older woman was taken to the Atlanta Medical Center by helicopter and is in critical condition, Redlinger said. The two women who were found at the Covington home were later identified as Jaquari's mother and grandmother, according to Redlinger. "Darian Bennett was the one that shot the baby's mother and took the baby with him and left the scene," he added. An Amber Alert was issued by GBI on behalf of the Newton County Sheriff's office for the missing toddler. |
(Black) Missouri McDonald's employee charged with first-degree murder after allegedly killing co-worker
A McDonald's employee in Missouri has been charged with first-degree murder after allegedly killing his co-worker on Tuesday night.
19-year-old Terrence King was arrested on Tuesday night after a shooting that took place outside a St. Louis McDonald's at around 8:30 p.m., according to KMOV.
Kevyn Henderson, 23, was shot in the chest and was not breathing or conscious when officers arrived at the scene and later died, according to police. According to the report, King and Henderson both worked at the McDonald's and got into an argument while inside the fast-food restaurant. The manager of the McDonald's escorted King out of the restaurant. When Henderson walked out of the McDonald's, according to police, King shot and killed him. Police officers took King into custody after locating him with a firearm in his hand near Henderson. |
(Black) Roanoke man arrested in Friday homicide on Williamson Road
Police have arrested and charged a Roanoke man in connection with a Friday homicide at an intersection of Williamson Road in northwest Roanoke.
Keandra S. Smith, 29, of Roanoke, was charged with second-degree murder later in the day in the death of 40-year-old Grover W. Edwards III, of Roanoke. Authorities were notified at 11:30 a.m. Friday of a person with a gunshot wound and found Edwards there. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Roanoke Fire-EMS responders, according to a police news release. Williamson was blocked to traffic at Angell Avenue Northwest and Trinkle Avenue Northwest. Fleming Avenue Northwest was blocked at Winsloe Drive Northwest. The scene was near James Breckinridge Middle School, which was secured after the initial call came in. Police said a suspect in the incident was found nearby and detained by officers. The incident remains an ongoing investigation, according to police. (Black) 18-year-old arrested, accused of shooting of 2 teens, killing 1 in Elizabeth City
ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) โ An 18-year-old has been arrested after two 17-year-olds were shot and one was killed in Elizabeth City.
It happened on Herrington Road near the intersection of Edge Street just after 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The first victim was sent to the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. The second juvenile was treated for non life-threatening injuries and later released. On Friday, police arrested 18-year-old SIncer Unique McCauley on charges of discharging a weapon into an occupied property and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Officials say McCauley was taken into custody without incident and is currently at the Albemarle District Jail with no bond. His first court appearance is set for June 13 in Pasquotank County. Elizabeth City police say they also served a secure custody order for murder, discharging a weapon into occupied property, and assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury on a juvenile that was also involved in the shooting. |

A New York City man is wanted in connection with two unprovoked stabbings on the subway that occurred within a 24-hour period, authorities said Saturday.
Donny Ubiera, 32, of Queens, allegedly brandished a large knife and slashed a 62-year-old man on his face and right hand onboard a southbound 7 train around 8:40 a.m. on Friday, police said. Police said Ubiera had approached the victim and was not provoked. After the slashing, police said he got off the train at the Queensboro Plaza station and fled on foot toward Queens Plaza North. The second unprovoked attack happened around 7:15 a.m. Saturday on the platform of the northbound 7 train line, according to police. Ubiera allegedly pulled out a large knife, approached a 55-year-old man and stabbed him in the neck. Ubiera again fled the scene in an unknown direction. Authorities recovered a knife at the scene. Both victims were hospitalized at NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition. Few details were available on their conditions, but police said the first victim received numerous stitches. |
Police search for BLACK man after alleged deliberate fire at Toronto house
Police are searching for a man identified in an arson investigation in Toronto.
In a press release, Toronto police said they needed the publicโs assistance locating someone after a fire was โdeliberatelyโ started at a home in the area of Sentinel Road and Assiniboine Road.
On June 7, police responded to a fire that officers said was deliberately started by someone who then fled the scene. Police are looking for 23-year-old David Enoch Johnson who is wanted for arson endangering life and failure to comply with a release order. Police said he is five-foot-seven-inches tall with a small build and short, black hair that has small braids. Hispanic Man cat-called woman then stabbed her, man she was with 
GREELEY, Colo. โ Authorities are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing a man and a woman after cat-calling the woman Wednesday, the Greeley Police Department announced.
Around 10:36 p.m., officers were called out for a reported stabbing at Lincoln Park, located at 9th Avenue and 10th Street in downtown Greeley. According to Greeley police, Luis Mendez-Mayorga, 27, was cat-calling a 20-year-old woman when the 29-year-old man she was with attempted to intervene and stop the harassment. Mendez-Mayorga then stabbed the two victims, police said. Both sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene then released. Mendez-Mayorga took off before police arrived. Officers searched Lincoln Park and the downtown areas, but could not find him, police said. An arrest warrant was issued for Mendez-Mayorga for two counts of second degree assault and two counts of felony menacing. Anyone with information about Mendez-Mayorga's location is asked to call 911 immediately. Police say he was last seen in the area of downtown Greeley and should be considered armed and dangerous. BLACK-ON-WHITE: BLACK Truck driver jailed for killing a White woman in California and for killing another woman in Texas in 2002 after raping her.
(CNN)A recently retired truck driver who traveled across the country for decades has been charged in a California woman's death, just weeks after he was arrested in Texas for another woman's killing, prosecutors said.
Douglas Thomas, 67, was charged Friday in the death of Sherri Herrera, a 30-year-old mother of four who was found on a highway on-ramp in March 1993, the Riverside County, California, district attorney's office said in a news release. Herrera was last seen alive a few days before her body was found, the release said. The office also filed a special circumstance allegation of murder during the commission of a rape, according to the news release. It is unclear if Thomas has legal representation. Throughout more than 40 years working as a truck driver, Thomas traveled extensively, the release added. Just weeks before the district attorney's announcement, authorities in Texas arrested Thomas on the suspicion of murder for the April 1992 killing of a woman found in Titus County. "Thomas was connected by authorities to that murder by a DNA match to evidence from that crime scene," the district attorney's office said. Thomas was taken into custody in Texas in late May under a $2 million bond on a murder warrant for the April 1992 killing, according to CNN affiliate KWTX, which cited a search warrant affidavit filed by a Texas Ranger. The woman's body was found near a rest area along a highway and an investigation showed she was strangled "with a device made of wire and cord," according to the affiliate. There was also evidence of sexual assault, the affiliate reported. Investigators from the two different states were able to make the connection with the help of forensic genealogy: An investigator with the district attorney's office in California uploaded DNA profile from the scene of Herrera's killing in 2002 and roughly five years later, there was a match connecting the killings in the two states, KWTX reported. After forensic genealogy investigations from both cases, the Riverside investigator contacted the Texas Ranger on the case, informing him of several people in Texas who were "in the right genetic range for comparison," the station said. Authorities took a DNA sample from Thomas in late April and the results matched the suspect profile, according to KWTX. While he was in custody in Texas, investigators from California traveled to Texas and interviewed Thomas about Herrera's killing, the news release said. Thomas remains in custody in Texas, where he will be prosecuted for the 1992 murder, the release said. (Black) Campti man arrested in connection with May 26 murder
NATCHITOCHES, La. (KALB) - A Campti man has been arrested in connection with the May 26 shooting death of Darnell Jermaine Browder, 39, of Campti, Louisiana.
The Natchitoches Parish Sheriffโs Office said Darrion Lamar Simmons, 20, was arrested on June 3 at his residence on Pasture Road. Simmons was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and charged with second degree murder and felony theft over $150,000. He remains in jail with a bond set at over $1 million. Sheriff Wright said the arrest stems from an active, ongoing investigation involving the collection of evidence, execution of search warrants, recovery of four stolen all terrain vehicles, autopsy findings and interviews of several sources. NPSO said no further information will be released at this time but additional arrests are possible. The investigation began on Thursday, May 26, when the body of Darnell Jermaine Browder was found laying at the end of Roberson Street near the St. Paul Methodist Church in Campti. The Natchitoches Parish Asst. Coroner Steven Clanton said Browder died hours earlier as a result of gunshot wounds. The death was ruled as a homicide. |

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - A man wanted for attempted second-degree murder in Alexandria was captured Thursday, June 9 in Mansura, according to the Avoyelles Parish Sheriffโs Office.
APSO said a Mansura police officer spotted Jimie R. Jonesโ vehicle at a home on Drouin Street. An hour after authorities arrived at the home, APSO said Jones voluntarily surrendered. He reportedly had three-day-old trauma to one of his feet and was transported to Rapides Hospital. The Alexandria Police Department was notified, and Jones was subsequently transported back to Rapides Parish to face his charges of attempted second-degree murder and contempt of court. APD said Jones is suspected of shooting a gun from his vehicle around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, June 6 in the area of North Mall Drive, allegedly targeting his ex-girlfriend. |
Trial of BLACK 2019 Cottonport club shooting suspect underway
MARKSVILLE, La. (KALB) - The trial of Derrionte Boyer officially began on June 1, 2022, at the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse.
Boyer faces numerous charges for a November 2019 shooting outside of the New Beginnings Club near Cottonport, which resulted in the deaths of Justin Heath and Monte Jones, as well as the injuries of two others. He faces four counts, including one count of second-degree murder, one count of principal to second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. Both counsels laid the groundwork for the case with their opening statements. Assistant District Attorney Tony Salario listed off numerous witnesses to be called up to testify Boyer was the shooter involved in the incident at the club. Meanwhile, Defense Attorney Tiffany Sanders countered in her statement that Boyer, a 16-year-old Peabody High School freshman at the time, was not even at the club the night of the shooting, and there was no evidence linking him to the incident. Salario set the scene by describing the circumstances of the night. While at the club for a party, Jones was attacked by a group of people, so badly injuring him that what would occur moments later would result in his death. When Jones and Heath were leaving the club with two others, the same group was waiting outside, one of them firing at least 10 shots in Jonesโ and Heathโs direction. The prosecution claimed that person was Boyer, citing witnesses who identified the shooter as D.T., Boyerโs nickname. |
(Black) Alexandria man accused of shooting ex-girlfriend, her new boyfriend on Monroe Street
ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Alexandria Police Department has arrested a man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend as well as another man on Monroe Street on Sunday, May 29.
APD said on June 2 their detectives and S.W.A.T. team arrested Willie Carradine, 59, on Olive Street. He has been charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder. APD said Carradine reportedly shot his ex-girlfriend and her reported new boyfriend, both in their 50s, on Monroe Street. The woman sustained a life-threatening injury, and the man was treated for a less serious injury. |

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting nearly a month ago that left a man dead in a car in the middle of the roadway.
The Aiken Department of Public Safety said Wednesday that officers had arrested Javon Croft, 24, of Aiken. Heโs one of two suspects in the May 3 shooting death of 49-year-old Charles L. NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Police officers have arrested a 31-year-old man who is accused of throwing a baby at his girlfriend after allegedly finding her talking on the phone.
The North Charleston Police Department charged Vincent Samuel Reid of North Charleston with first-degree domestic violence and unlawful conduct towards a child. The investigation began at 12:21 a.m. on Wednesday when police officers responded to an apartment on Alston Avenue for a possible child abduction. The victim said the incident began as she was sitting at home with her children and her boyfriend entered the home intoxicated, and when he saw her talking on he phone to someone he snatched the phone from her. A report states the suspect began calling the person the victim was talking to and threatening to go and shoot their home. The victim said she then grabbed her phone and called 911, and at that time a verbal argument started between the victim and the suspect. Police say the suspect then hit the victim in the face, took her phone, grabbed the baby, and walked out of the home. The victim said when she called 911, the suspect entered the home, took the phone and threw it. The incident report states that the suspect then threw the baby at the victim, grabbed the victim by the neck in an attempt to choke her and then bit her right shoulder. Authorities say the victim was able to bite the suspectโs hand and call out to her daughter who was in another room to have her call 911. |
(Black) Union woman put gun in teenโs mouth for saying he missed mom who died
UNION, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A Union woman is facing charges after police say she put a gun to the head of a teenager who said he wanted to be with his mother who died.
According to the incident report from Union Public Safety, Larissa Means was caring for a teen whose mother died several years ago. The report says the teen made a comment about wanting to be with his mother and in response, Means pulled a handgun out from underneath a pillow and pointed it at the back of the boyโs head. She also put the gun in the teenโs mouth, according to arrest warrants. Means is charged with a second count of unlawful conduct toward a child because according to warrants, she left the victim at the Union Public Safety Department in June 2021 to try to abandon him. |
(Black) Wanted fugitive believed to be in SC found dead in Missouri river
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A wanted fugitive who was believed to be in the Upstate area of South Carolina or along the border of North Carolina in early May drowned in southeast Missouri Sunday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said Sherron David McCombs Jr., 22, was wanted by Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay, Florida, and the U.S. for his involvement in two shootings in Tampa on Nov. 21, 2021 and Jan. 3, 2022. We were told McCombs faced the following charges: 2 counts of first-degree murder, premeditated 1 count of first-degree murder firearm, premeditated 3 counts of first-degree murder firearm & tampering with physical evidence Our sister station KFVS said McCombs was swimming at a float camp 4 miles north of Doniphan, Missouri on June 5 when he panicked, went under water and didnโt resurface. |

Authorities arrest 'armed and dangerous' HISPANIC Stockton man accused of shooting and killing his wife| Update 
STOCKTON, Calif. โ Update June 10:
A search for a man accused of shooting and killing his wife in Stockton has ended after the suspected gunman was found and arrested in Nebraska on Thursday, officials with the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said. Sergio Torres Munguia, 52, allegedly shot and killed his wife, Sonia Suarez in the 3600 block of Munford Avenue in Stockton on June 4. Since the homicide, detectives with the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office have been searching for Torres, described as "armed and dangerous." Thursday night, Torres allegedly ran a stop sign in the city of Sidney, Nebraska. Deputies with the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office say that when officials with the Sidney Police Department checked Torres' record, they found the arrest warrant. Maryland - HISPANIC SURNAMED SUSPECT SHOOTS THREE DEAD AT Manufacturing plant 
Three people were killed and one person was injured Thursday at a Maryland manufacturing plant by a co-worker who was also injured following a gunfire exchange with a state trooper, authorities said. Joe Louis Esquivel,23, of Hedgesville, West Virginia, went to work at the Columbia Machine factory in Smithsburg and worked his normal shift, authorities said Friday. At around 2:30 p.m., he left the building and retrieved a weapon from his car and went back in the plant and opened fire inside a break room, officials said. The deceased victims were identified Thursday night as Mark Alan Frey, 50; Charles Edward Minnick Jr., 31; and 30-year-old Joshua Robert Wallace. The victim who was injured was identified as 42-year-old Brandon Chase Michael, authorities said. After the shooting, Esquivel fled the scene in a Mitsubishi Eclipse before he encountered state troopers. A shootout ensued, injuring him and a trooper, authorities said. (Black) Man wanted in shooting deaths of Miss. police officer, female
MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK/Gray News) - A suspect has been identified in the shooting death of a Meridian police officer.
Dante Marquez Bender, 31, is wanted by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, which is handling the case. WTOK reports about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, a call went out over police radios of an โofficer downโ on the 2400 block of 51st Avenue. The city of Meridian later issued a statement saying the police officer died. A female was also found dead at the scene. Bender is believed to be driving a 2004 black Nissan Armada with a tag reading โIMANI.โ Bender may be armed and dangerous. If you see him or come in contact with him, call 911 immediately. Authorities urged anyone with further information on Bender or his whereabouts to call 911 or 1-855-485-8477 or email MBITIPS@dps.ms.gov. All tips are anonymous. SELMA, AL (AP/KVRR) โ A man wanted in a gunshot murder last year in Alabama has been arrested in Minnesota.
Police in Selma, Alabama say 18-year-old Javontae Mitchell was captured last week near the Canadian border by federal marshals. Authorities did not give an exact location of his arrest. Mitchell was sought in the killing of 26-year-old Taquon Fikes who was found lying unresponsive in the backyard of a house a year ago. Police say he was killed in a fight. Mitchell will be sent back to authorities in Selma. |

A 27-year-old Xenia man will spend the next two decades in prison for a 2016 homicide and robbery in Fairborn.
Devon Cox was sentenced Wednesday in Greene County Common Pleas Court to 20 years in prison following his guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter with a firearm specification and aggravated robbery.
The guilty pleas and sentencing were announced Wednesday by Greene County Prosecutor David Hayes.
Coxโs charges stem from the Nov. 20, 2016, shooting death of 23-year-old Jarrell Plummer in a Fairborn apartment.

โI was a child,โ she told the 63-year-old Butler in an impact statement after the jury found him guilty of lewd and lascivious battery. โI was vulnerable, and you took advantage of me.โ
She was passed around from one man to another by a man who collected money from her attackers, was left hungry and given drugs to keep her in a daze for two days. The Daily Commercial is not naming the woman because she is a victim. After leaving the Arnette House in Ocala, the girl made her way to Eustis on Feb. 14, 2018, where she stopped at a store on East Orange Avenue. She said a woman and two men approached her. The arrest affidavit said she began telling the trio about her โrecent adventuresโ after leaving Ocala, โbecame comfortable with the three and began walking around with them.โ They ended up at a home known as โPoppieโs House.โ People said he lived there with his girlfriend and two children. There was a shed behind the house that had been converted into an apartment, and that is where the woman lived with a man named Steven. Soon, the group, along with โPoppie,โ began taking the drug MDMA, known as โMolly.โ She said she lost her virginity to Poppie, then was raped by a man nicknamed โRed.โ That man was Butler. When they were finished, the men walked over to Steven and handed him money. That night, she said, she was raped by a man named โMoses.โ The next day, she took more Molly and was taken to the home of a man named Jermainne. Steven told him he could have her for two hours. She said Jermainne gave her a drug known as โconcrete,โ which is heroin cut with fentanyl. She said she could not remember much after taking the heroin mix. When they returned to the shed, Jermainne gave Steven money. Shortly after that, she was raped by someone named โFofo.โ โOf all the men in this case, you are the worst,โ the woman told Butler. โThe fact that you used every single possible way to get out of taking accountability is unfathomable to me.โ Butlerโs father was initially arrested for the crime. She blasted him for letting him sit in jail and then had โthe nerve to wipe away tearsโ when his name was mentioned in court. โYou treated me like garbage,โ she added. โLike I was disposable. After this incident I could not eat. I spent the majority of my nights scratching and sitting in the bath for hours because I was so itchy. I stayed in a motel with my mom for a week because I was too unnerved to go home. I had to go to the hospital a couple of days later for hemorrhaging.โ Someone eventually took her back to the store in Eustis. A store manager helped her get a ride to Ocoee to see her ex-boyfriend. Once the ex-boyfriend heard her story, he took her to the hospital and police were called. After being examined by a nurse, genetic material was collected and investigators found a DNA match to John โPoppieโ Quashie, who is now 34. Moise S. โMosesโ Graham, is now 30. Another man was arrested but charges were dropped. Rabess 38, was sentenced to nine years in prison, Hodge to 12 years Graham to 12 ยฝ years. Scott and Quashie are awaiting trial. Graham pleaded no contest to the charges against him, including being a habitual felony offender. |

A multi-agency investigation, involving the Middletown Police Special Operations Unit, Dayton Police Department and FBI, resulted in federal drug and firearms felony charges against John Eugene Brown Sr., aka John John, of Middletown.
Police said the investigation recovered more than three kilograms of fentanyl, a large amount of cash, seven firearms, and four vehicles. It is alleged that five of the firearms were stolen, and two of the vehicles were stolen from North Carolina car dealerships, police said. Brown, 42, was taken into federal custody and booked into the Butler County Jail, where he is on a federal holder, jail records show. |

Kent to pay $1.5M to settle dispute with assistant police chief who displayed Nazi insignia
The city of Kent will pay more than $1.5 million to purchase the resignation of a former assistant police chief who was disciplined for posting a Nazi rank insignia on his office door and joking about the Holocaust.
Former Assistant Chief Derek Kammerzell had initially been given two weeks off without pay for his actions, but an outraged response by Kent citizens and members of the Jewish community resulted in Mayor Dana Ralph demanding Kammerzellโs resignation. TAMPA โ A suspect wanted by Tampa police in connection to two homicides reportedly drowned in a Missouri river over the weekend.
Sherron David McCombs Jr., 22, was swimming at a float camp four miles north of Doniphan, Missouri, about 3 p.m. Sunday when he began to panic, went underwater and did not resurface, according to an incident report released by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. McCombs was visiting the river with some acquaintances when he went under, said Sgt. Clark Parrot, a Highway Patrol spokesperson. A nearby Marine patrol trooper and an off-duty trooper who were both in the area heard screams and rushed to where McCombs had gone underwater. They searched for several minutes and recovered McCombs in an area about eight feet deep, Parrott said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. |

A woman has been arrested on a murder charge after deputies say she set up a meeting that ended with her brother being shot and killed.
A Tampa woman is facing a murder charge after a person she tried to lure into a robbery through a dating app shot and killed her brother in self defense, Hillsborough County Sheriffโs officials said. Tatโyana Mekeva Gaston, 23, was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the May 31 shooting, according to court documents. Gaston was released from the Hillsborough County jail the day of her arrest after she posted $15,000 bail, records show. Police say Gaston matched with a person on the dating app BLK posing as a 22-year-old woman named โJada.โ She asked the person, who is not named in court records, to meet her at Kain Palms Apartments, where her brother, Jermon Kennard, 18, was waiting nearby to rob the person, the records state. When a masked Kennard threatened the person with a knife, he shot Kennard with a gun that was concealed in his waistband. Kennard was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he died of gunshot wounds to his head and chest, records state. |

TAMPA โ A Tampa man out on bail for a pending DUI charge has been arrested again, this time in connection to a crash that killed a bicyclist on May 20, records show.
Taylor Lucien Moise, 39, was arrested May 23 at Tampa General Hospital, where he was taken to be treated after the crash that killed bicyclist Joshua Kidd earlier that week. Moise faces charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicular homicide and DUI resulting in injury or property damage. The day after Moiseโs arrest, Hillsborough prosecutors filed a motion asking a judge to keep Moise in jail until the case is resolved. The motion notes that he was arrested on charges of DUI and resisting arrest in Polk County in 2020 and released on bail. The Polk case is still pending. The motion and a Hillsborough County Sheriffโs Office arrest affidavit outline what investigators say led to the death of bicyclist Kidd. Moise was driving a 2013 BMW 550i near the intersection of 54th Street and Hartford Street in the Palm River-Clair Mel area about 2:40 a.m. Kidd was riding his bike along Hartford Street when the BMW struck him from behind. |
Police identify (Black) man who allegedly shot innocent woman at Walmart Metrocenter
PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) - The man who shot a handgun during an altercation in north Phoenixโs Walmart inside the old Metrocenter complex Tuesday has been identified.
Police say, Diontay Evans, 18, was arguing with two men he knew inside the store around 3:30 p.m. As the three men were leaving, Evans fired a gun several times into the store. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Metro Police officer who was shot in the face while supervising a construction site last year filed a lawsuit against the Kentucky Department of Corrections, claiming the man who shot him should have been in jail.
LMPD Officer Chris Lane was working the construction site on Interstate 264 in November when he was shot. "He had his jaw wired shut," said Tad Thomas, the attorney who represents Lane. "The bullet actually went in his cheek and kind of went around his neck and lodged in the back of his neck." Keyshaun Stewart is charged with that shooting and also shooting and killing Freddie O'Bannon, who was also working at that construction site. Thomas said his client wants to uncover what went wrong at Probation and Parole and why Stewart was out on the street to begin with. Lane's lawsuit targets the Kentucky Department of Corrections and Stewart's parole officer, claiming negligence on their behalf. In 2019, Stewart was sentenced to five years probation in Jefferson Circuit Court for Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Mischief. Eight months later, Stewart was arrested in Davidson County, Tennessee, for Aggravated Assault and Arson. The lawsuit states his probation officer never reported those new charges to Jefferson County. "Once Chris got shot and this came to light and Mr. O'Bannon was murdered by someone who should not have been on the street, then finally probation/parole was forced to discuss the issue," Thomas said. "They were forced to publicly acknowledge they had a problem, and now they are trying to deal with the problem as quietly as possible." CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - A 35-year-old Cleveland man received his sentence Monday morning in Cuyahoga County court for the fatal shooting of his girlfriend.
Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge Shannon Gallagher ruled that Dominique Perry will spend 15 to 20.5 years behind bars. Perry is convicted of involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence and having weapons under disability. Cleveland police said the shooting occurred on May 15, 2021. Perry entered the home of his girlfriend, 32-year-old Alicia Coleman, according to police, and fatally shot her. After the shooting, police said Perry fled the scene. He said in court that the shooting was an accident. EMS transported Coleman to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police said her children were in the home when the shooting occurred, but were not injured. |

Youngโs mother, Kimberly Cyrus, told the news outlet that they became suspicious when Young was dismissive about his youngest brother having a seizure. โThat wasnโt like him, because he wouldโve come here first thing to check on his brother,โ she said. โJust getting these messages didnโt sit right with any of us, because we knew wouldnโt send anything like that.โ Youngโs family reported his disappearance in December 2019. Months earlier, in late September, a gardener discovered human remains buried at the Awbury Arboretum, which is a 58-acre garden and historical estate in Philadelphia. Montgomery County detectives reopened the investigation this year. On Memorial Day, dental records confirmed that the body discovered three years earlier was Young. Young reportedly received $800 every two weeks from a $2 million trust fund. Sheffield is accused of stealing thousands from his slain boyfriendโs trust fund. An elderly woman was shot in the incident and was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. According to the arrest affidavit, Brooks-Williams was seen on security footage leaving a residence at 2600 Cole Ave. prior to the shooting with a pistol sticking out of his pocket. The affidavit also says the firearm is believed to have been stolen and was given to him by his father, Anthony Lamar Williams. Details of what police believe happened in the shooting are not included in the affidavit, and Brooks-Williams has not been charged in the shooting itself. Anthony Williams was booked into McLennan County Jail on Monday on a third-degree felony charge of deadly conduct and a state jail felony charge of theft of a firearm. Police arrested a suspect Saturday following the death of a man during an altercation in front of a National City market.

A Tennessee woman is slated to appear in court Monday after allegedly shooting into the home of another woman whose children were inside.
Johari Jenkins, 23, of Memphis was charged in May with multiple counts of criminal attempt first-degree murder and aggravated assault, as well as other things, according to court records reported on by local Fox 13. Memphis Police were called to a woman's home May 2 after she reported that a suspect, later identified as Jenkins, allegedly fired gunshots into the house where she was with her three children. Police later interviewed the children involved, who alleged Jenkins shot once into the floor and said, "I hope I hit one of them little b******," according to an affidavit. Jenkins later went to the breezeway on the second floor and allegedly fired four to five more times through the living room window. Investigators also spoke with a witness who said she heard the shots from a nearby apartment. The witness reportedly told police that she heard Jenskins yell, "Since I already got a charge on me, I might as well get another one today by killing you and your kids, b***h." A second witness reportedly claimed she saw a bullet strike her neighbor's front door and corroborated that Jenkins said, "I hope I hit one of your kids and Iโm going to kill you next b***h." Jamal Preston, 27, of Egg Harbor Township, pleaded guilty in January to arson which he admitted on Aug.20, 2020. He had intentionally set fire to the residence with an ignitable liquid and open blame, according to prosecutors. He then fled the scene and was arrested at an Absecon motel on Aug.31, 2020. No one was hurt during the incident. He has been in Ocean County Jail in Toms River since. Taylor is one of three men police say were involved in a string of November 2015 home invasions on Indianapolis' north side that ended when Amanda Blackburn, 28, was fatally shot in her home while 12 weeks pregnant with her second child. She was slain two years after she and her husband, pastor Davey Blackburn,moved to Indianapolis from South Carolina to found Resonate Church, which was shuttered in 2019. Hawkins had declared a mistrial in Taylor's first trial after learning some jurors knew Blackburn had been pregnant โ a fact defense attorneys successfully moved to keep from the jury. Taylor, 25, faces 13 charges, including murder, burglary and criminal confinement while armed with a deadly weapon. Taylor's two co-defendants accepted plea deals on the condition they would cooperate in his prosecution. Jalen E. Watson pleaded guilty in 2017 to robbery and burglary charges. A Queens man was arrested on charges he raped a
13-year-old girl on Long Island, police said.
Andrew Ramsaroop, 30, of South Ozone Park, allegedly met the girl via Snapchat, then rendezvoused with her at a playground in Hauppauge where he raped her, cops said. Ramsaroop allegedly set the wheels in motion for the heinous act when he met up with the girl at the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove on May 13, officials said. At that time, he tried to coax the girl and her friend into his vehicle, but was rebuffed, investigators said. The rape occurred later the same day, police said. Detectives arrested Ramsaroop on Friday night, authorities said, noting the girl informed a school official about the rape and the school notified police. NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man early Sunday morning in connection with allegations that he hit a woman with a blunt instrument at an apartment complex on EJ Campbell Blvd. and then fled.
Jamarcus Dewayne Creer, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County jail on a second-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. No bond amount has been set for his charge yet. According to the NPD media report, the alleged assault occurred at an apartment complex located at 3109 EJ Campbell Blvd at about 9:10 p.m. Saturday. Sgt. Brent Handy with the Nacogdoches Police Department said Creer used a blunt object to hit a female victim in the upper body area and then fled the scene. NPD officers found Creer a short time later and arrested him, the media report stated. Handy said the victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. |

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man is in jail after a child suffered third-degree burns in a bathtub.
Joshua Tranair Meekings, 26, is charged with first-degree injury to a child. He was arrested on Monday and is being held on a $1 million bond.
According to an arrest affidavit released to KLTV on Friday, a Smith County Sheriffโs Office detective was notified on May 27 that a child had been taken by medical helicopter to a Dallas hospital the day before for burn injuries. According to the affidavit, Meekings, who is the childโs evil stepfather, told medical staff that the child had bumped against a stove, causing boiling water to spill on the boyโs lower body. CPS advised the injuries were not consistent with the explanation and the injuries were consistent with the child being dipped in boiling water. The affidavit states the detective called the childโs mother. She said she came to the home on May 26 and found her son wrapped in a towel. She said once she saw his injuries, she told Meekings to call 911. She said the babysitter told her Meekings had placed the boy in the bathtub and turned on the water. The babysitter said Meekings then went to another room to play video games, leaving the boy alone in the bathtub. She said when the boy could not bear the heat of the water any long, he got out. The mother said Meekings then saw the boyโs burns and wrapped him in a towel. According to the affidavit, the detective then talked to Meekings. Meekings said he had come over to give the boy a bath and had left him alone in there with running water for three to five minutes. The detective next talked to a Dallas doctor, who said the child suffered burns over 33 to 36% of his body and a majority of he burns are third degree and he will require multiple surgeries. She said the boy is currently intubated and on a ventilator due to his medications. Deputies did a check on the water temperature at the home. Once pooled, the water had a temperature of 140 degrees. Despite Meekings saying he left the child alone in the bathtub, the affidavit states it is believed Meekings held the boy down in the bathtub, causing the injuries. The crash happened at about 7:30 p.m. Smith was arrested within a few hours. During the investigation, Smith claimed he was under โdemonic control,โ and not at fault, according to prosecutors. A Texas inmate who escaped custody three weeks ago is suspected of slaughtering a 66-year-old man and four of his grandsons hours before cops shot the fugitive dead on Thursday.
Gonzalo Lopez, 46, died in a shootout with cops on Thursday in Jourdantown, Texas outside of San Antonio while he was driving a pickup owned by the granddad. Grandfather Mark Collins and his grandchildren were found dead in a cabin in rural Centerville, 100 miles outside of Houston and more than 200 miles from where Lopez met his end, reports said. 
The other victims were three brothers โ Waylon Collins, 18, Carson Collins, 16 and Hudson Collins, 11 โand their cousin, Bryson Collins, 11, KHOU-11 reported. The family members had arrived early Thursday at the cabin, which was used on weekends for hunting and other outdoor activities, reports said.
โWe are devastated by the loss of our dear family members at the family ranch in Centerville, Texas,โ the family said in a statement, according to KHOU. โThese precious people who loved and were loved by so many, will never be forgotten.โ Waylon Collins had just graduated high school in Tomball, which is in the suburbs outside Houston. He was also an athlete and umpire for the Tomball Little League, according to statements. The Tomball Independent School District had earlier released a statement announcing the deaths of the grandchildren. โThe loss of a student, for any reason, is heartbreaking, but to lose four in such a tragic way is excruciating, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of these beloved students and grandfather,โ the statement said. Omar Bojang, 18, is accused of driving a scooter around 4:50 p.m. on May 16 on Fox Street towards 165 Street before his 15-year-old passenger opened fire, and Tay was fatally struck by stray bullets while standing outside. Police said the girl was not the intended target. Video shows the scooter pass a 13-year-old boy running away from them before the passenger turns and unleashes a barrage of bullets in his direction. The 15-year-old was arrested at approximately 2:05 a.m. Friday and is charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. The New York Police Department revealed Saturday that Bojang is also being sought in connection to two gunpoint robberies that took place within the confines of the 42nd precinct in April. At approximately 2 p.m. on April 18, a 46-year-old male victim was approached by Bojang and at least three other male individuals behind an apartment building on Webster Avenue after arranging a meeting to purchase merchandise through a digital media platform, police said. One of the suspects displayed a firearm and struck the victim in the head, while the others forcibly removed his wallet containing credit and debit cards, police said. The individuals fled on foot in an unknown direction. Four days later, Bojang and at least two other male individuals allegedly approached a 28-year-old male victim at approximately 8:50 p.m. on April 22 inside the same building after police say they again arranged a meeting online to purchase unspecified merchandise. One of the individuals displayed a firearm and struck the victim in the head while the others forcibly removed his Samsung watch, cell phone and wallet containing $100, police said. The individuals fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim suffered a laceration and bruising to his forehead but refused medical attention. A combined reward of $10,000 is being offered for information in connection to Tayโs homicide. KENT, Wash. - Investigators say a fugitive murder suspect who was shot and killed by police Wednesday night in Kent was connected to the disappearance of an Oakley, California woman.
During a Thursday morning news conference, Oakley police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Marshall Curtis Jones and they said he was the ex-boyfriend of missing 24-year-old Alexis Gabe. She had been missing since Jan. 26.
Oakley Police Department Chief Paul Beard said Jones was uncooperative and refused to talk to detectives during the investigation. Beard also said police determined Jones left California and traveled to Washington state within days of Gabe's disappearance. He came back to California last month and then went back to Washington. A warrant was issued for Jones and officers tried to arrest him at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of South 222nd Place in Kent. According to the Seattle Police Department, Jones charged law enforcement with a knife when they knocked the suspect's door. A Seattle police officer, a deputy from Snohomish County and a deputy from the U.S. Marshals Service fired their weapons. Jones died at the scene and police said he was the only suspect in this case. A man who allegedly shot and killed a woman outside of an Amazon warehouse in Mississippi on Friday has been killed by police after a shootout.
Corey D. Brewer, 44, allegedly shot and killed Ebony Leshay Crocket, 44, at an Amazon warehouse in Horn Lake, Mississippi on Friday morning, according to Fox 13. The incident took place in the parking lot.
Crocket was allegedly shot three times. The Horn Lake Police Department said that the two knew each other from working at Amazon. After Brewer allegedly killed Crocket, a BOLO was put out, which was relayed to local law enforcement agencies. A murder warrant was also issued for Brewer. TAMPA, Fla. โ The woman who allegedly stole a car and then left her 4-year-old daughter to drown in the Hillsborough River in 2018 will spend the next 20 years in prison. According to Hillsborough County Court records, Shakayla Denson pleaded guilty to second-degree murder Tuesday in the death of Je'Hyrah Daniels. The news was first reported by the Tampa Bay Times. โIt is impossible to fathom how a mother could drown her own child. Denson clearly had some serious mental issuesโwhich multiple expert witnesses foundโbut we were not willing to concede that she was not guilty by reason of insanity and avoid any punishment whatsoever. This sentence imposes an appropriate punishment and achieves justice for JeโHyrah,โ Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren said in a statement. On Aug. 2, 2018, Denson waded into the Hillsborough River and left Je'Hyrah to drown. Witnesses at the time saw her dragging Je'Hyrah by the arm toward the river. At one point, witnesses said, both were screaming. Witnesses said Denson held Je'Hyrah close to her chest as they went deeper into the water. When the water was near the top of Denson's shoulders, she reportedly let go of Je'Hyrah and turned around, heading back to shore. Je'Hyrah would be found unconscious about 30 minutes later in the water and died at the hospital. |

Montgomeryโs uncle, James Timothy โTimโ Norman โwho also appeared on the OWN reality showโhas already been charged in connection with the death, along with Memphis-based exotic dancer Terica Ellis and Waiel Rebbi Yaghnam. According to federal prosecutors, Norman, Ellis and Hill are all facing charges of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and murder-for-hire resulting in Montgomeryโs death. Mexican megachurch leader pleads guilty in LA to sex abuse (child rape)
LOS ANGELES (AP) โ Naasรณn Joaquรญn Garcรญa, the leader of Mexican megachurch La Luz del Mundo, dropped his vigorous denials of sexually abusing girls and pleaded guilty Friday just days before facing trial, California state prosecutors said.
Garcรญa, 53, pleaded guilty in Los Angeles Superior Court to two counts of forcible oral copulation involving minors and one count of a lewd act upon a child who was 15. He had faced trial Monday on charges that included child rape and human trafficking to produce child pornography. A convicted Washington state killer voluntarily surrendered to police after he was mistakenly sprung from prison with 21 years left on his sentence last week.
A Pierce County court moved to resentence Jeremey Bennett for the 2013 murder of Lawrence Howse last Friday, on account of his young age during the crime, according to KOMO-TV. The Department of Corrections misinterpreted Bennettโs resentencing order last week, and released him, county officials told the outlet. The DOC reportedly maintained they did not make a mistake because his original sentence was labeled โvacatedโ on the order. Amid the confusion, Bennett told his jailers they were wrong to release him and later turned himself in to police, according to the article. Bennett was reportedly 17 when he committed the fatal parking garage robbery. He was tried as an adult and pleaded guilty in 2015, receiving a 28-year sentence. |

A man stalked and raped a woman at knifepoint inside a Bronx park Tuesday morning in a disturbing daylight attack, police said.

A Bronx day care worker was busted on child pornography charges after one of the kids from the center he worked at appeared in lewd footage, authorities said this week.
Silfredo A. Castillo Martinez, 32 โ who works at Linaโs Garden Day Care โ operating out of his home on Decatur Avenue near East Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge โ was busted May 3, cops said Monday.
According to the police, he is accused of โpossessing multiple pornographic images of sex acts with children.โ Police said one of the day careโs charges was a victim โ and released Martinezโs mugshot as they investigate whether he had any other young victims. He was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child, and possessing a sexual performance by a child, authorities said. Martinez was employed by the center from July 2011 until his arrest this month, cops said. A 26-year-old man wanted in a deadly shooting at an outdoor festival that left one person dead and seven others injured has turned himself in to police, authorities said.
Skyler Buckner was booked in Muskogee County jail around 4 p.m. Sunday, nearly 16 hours after the deadly gunfire at the Memorial weekend event in Taft, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) said. Police had issued a warrant for his arrest. He faces yet-to-be-determined charges, Muskogee County District Attorney Larry Edwards told the Tulsa World. Witnesses told authorities that an argument preceded the gunfire at the annual event packed full of at least 1,500 revelers. โWe heard a lot of shots and we thought it was firecrackers at first,โ said Sylvia Wilson, an owner of Taftโs Boots Cafe, which was open at the time in the town that only has a population of a few hundred people. โThen people start running and ducking. And we were yelling at everyoneโฆ โGet down! Get down!โ Wilson recalled. The person shot dead was not immediately identified, other than being a 39-year-old black woman. $10K Reward Offered For Information On (Black murder suspect) Mtula Payton
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) โ A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that will lead to the arrest of Mtula Payton, who is wanted in connection to the downtown Sacramento shooting that left six dead and 12 others injured.
The Sacramento Police Department identified Payton, 27, in mid-April as a suspected shooter in the April 3 shooting that happened in the area of 10th and K streets. Payton is accused of engaging in a gunfight between rival gangs that left three innocent women dead โ Johntaya Alexander, Melinda Davis, and Yamile Martinez. Rival gang members Joshua Hoye-Lucchesi, Sergio Harris, and DeโVazia Turner, were also killed. So far, two others have been arrested in connection to the homicides: brothers Smiley and Dandrae Martin. The Martin brothers were arraigned last week on murder charges relating to the deaths of the three women, who police say were โinnocent bystanders.โ Sacramento police say Payton should be considered armed and dangerous. |

Jesus Mazariegos was found by police in Indianapolis after receiving reports of a man down.
Mazariegos later died from his injuries, and the County Coroner identified the cause of death to be physical assault resulting in blunt-force injuries. Joshua Dye was identified by police to be a potential suspect, and he was later arrested on charges of robbery and murder in connection with the case. |

Loyd was arrested for one count of open/gross lewdness, school employee engaging in sex with a pupil, and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center but "will be assigned to home per the negotiated agreement with the bargaining unit," according to police. A man accused of helping to smuggle migrants into the United States is charged with endangering a life after federal prosecutors said he shoved one out of his car and ran over him as he tried to evade border patrol agents.
Isaiah Osorio,a 23-year-old from "New" Mexico, met a human smuggling coordinator on Facebook and arranged to help transport migrants near the border, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorneyโs Office for the District of Arizona. Osorio drove to southern Arizona on May 24 and picked up multiple CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS who had SHOWN DISTAIN AND DISREGARD AND HATRED OF AMERICAN LAW BY crossING the border without legal documents, the release says. He drove them for about half an hour before noticing that law enforcement officers were following him. He then stopped the car and yelled at his passengers to get out. He shoved one who had not fully exited the vehicle out of the car and started driving again, the release says. The passenger fell, and Osorio ran over him as he tried to flee, prosecutors said. Osorioโs attorney, Saul Huerta, did not immediately respond to a request for comment from McClatchy News. U.S. Border Patrol agents rendered aid to the man on scene and called emergency medical services, the release says. The man was taken to the hospital where he was treated for injuries, including abrasions and head trauma. Osorio fled from a Border Patrol checkpoint before he was caught by agents, the release says. ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- The suspect in a weekend murder in South City was denied bond by a judge Wednesday after he was charged with murder.
On Friday night, Christopher Brennan was shot and killed in the backyard of his home around 7:20 p.m. Friday in the Shaw neighborhood in south St. Louis City. Kyle Stone is facing charges in the shooting death of Brennan. He is accused of shooting Brennan in the head. Witnesses and surveillance video helped police quickly track down the suspect. Court documents state police watched surveillance video showing someone approaching Brennan in his backyard and pulling out a gun. The two struggled briefly before Brennan was shot. The suspect then fled the area, police said. Police later identified the person in the surveillance video to be Stone. Stoneโs initial hearing was pushed back because his assigned public defender knew the victim personally. The Brennan familyโs lawyer sent the following statement regarding the hearing Wednesday: โThe Brennan family is thankful that Judge Burlison denied bond today. Payton was taken into custody in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, May 28, 2022. The fugitive suspect in the downtown Sacramento gang shooting nearly two months ago that killed six and wounded 12 has been arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mtula Payton, who Sacramento police say was one of the men who opened fire at 10th and K streets on April 3, was located and taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the FBIโs criminal apprehension team. โThrough their relentless investigation, our detectives developed information that Payton was residing at an apartment complex located in Las Vegas, Nevada,โ police said in a Saturday night announcement. โOur detectives relayed this information to Las Vegas Metro Police Department in an effort to apprehend Payton. FENTON, Mo. (KMOV) - A late-night domestic dispute at a Fenton, Mo. home left a 51-year-old father dead Sunday.
Just before midnight, officers found 51-year-old Charles Holt lying in the front yard of a home in the 100 block of Hartford Court. Police said Holt was allegedly shot by his 26-year-old daughter Laminia Holt before they arrived. Surveillance video captured Charles Holt walking away from his daughter who was standing in the driveway beforehand. He was then rushed to the hospital where he later died. Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute that happened earlier. The woman is being held at the Jefferson County jail. |

GRANITE CITY (KMOV) - A man is facing charges in connection with a fatal shooting that happened in Granite City Saturday night.
Sean Bennett, 44, of Madison, Illinois, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of armed robbery, use of a stolen firearm in the commission of an offense, unlawful possession of a stolen firearm and reckless discharge of a firearm. Officers tell News 4 that Bennett shot Corey Ayers, 48, in the 2300 block of Edwards Street around 8:45 p.m. Ayers later died at a hospital. Bennett was arrested at the scene. Bennett is being held at the Granite City Police Department on a $2 million bond. |

Three-year-old Datoria Roberts and her mother, Victoria Moore, died in the shooting at Romney Meadows last July. In exchange for his guilty pleas to two counts of murder, prosecutors dropped other charges Roberts faced. |

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - A 19-year-old was charged Tuesday after a road rage incident led to shots fired in Hazelwood.
Statements show on May 19, the victim and his 1-year-old daughter were traveling north on Howdershell Rd. near Dunn Rd. when a Dodge Charger drove past them on the left side. He saw the front seat passenger allegedly holding her middle finger out the window and heard several gunshots that supposedly shattered his back window. Police discovered four .223 caliber shell casings and saw bullet holes in the victimโs car. They were able to link the Dodge Charger to the shooting, and the suspect was in the rear passenger seat. Police found and arrested Antwon Porter,19, Monday at his job. He admitted to the shooting and was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a gun. Porter is being held on a $250,000 bond. |

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) โ A Lafayette man is facing a felony hate crime charge after he allegedly threatened and intimidated a Hispanic family who were his neighbors.
Phillip James Alexander, 26, faces multiple charges including hate crimes, discharging firearms, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and aggravated assault. According to Lafayette Police, over the weekend, Alexander allegedly began yelling racist comments at a family sitting on their porch in the 700 block of Arthur Street. Police Spokesperson Sgt. Robin Green told KLFY that Alexander is accused of repeatedly telling the family โhow much he hated them,โ that the family โshould not be here,โ and that the family โshould not be able to speak to American people,โ and other more disparaging remarks, she said. Green said the victims told police that Alexander also fired a weapon into the ground and then allegedly told the family โyou better not call the police.โ She said the victims told police that they took the threats seriously, and although hesitant at first, contacted 911. |

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A suspected serial killer already charged in six killings in the Kansas City and St. Louis areas has been charged with first-degree murder in a seventh death.
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced the new murder charge Friday against Perez Deshay Reed. Baker also charged Reed with one count of armed criminal action and two counts of fraud involving a credit or debit device. The most recent charges against the 26-year-old Reed, who lived in the St. Louis area, stem from the November 2021 shooting death of Stephon D. Johnson, of Kansas City, Missouri. The prosecutor's office did not provide Johnson's age. Brian Horneyer, an assistant Missouri public defender in St. Louis representing Reed did not immediately return messages seeking comment left Saturday on his office phone and cellphone. When law enforcement officers arrested Reed in nearby Independence on warrants from St. Louis County, they found a key on him that fit a deadbolt lock at Johnson's apartment, Baker's office said, citing court documents. Testing indicated DNA collected from an empty cigarillo package found in Johnson's apartment was connected to Reed, Baker's office said. |
Sumter Police arrest both BLACK suspects involved with fatal shooting
Laquinton Donell Laster, 36 was found dead outside of a vacant house Thursday.
Ladonna Cortise Green, 33, who had a previous relationship with Laster, was placed in custody Thursday and a warrant was issued for Damien Jeremiah Morgan, 24.
Morgan has since turned himself in, and Sumter police say he was arrested without incident. Police say both are being charged with manslaughter. The Sumter Police Department said officers were called at around 8:30 a.m. Thursday on reports of an unconscious person outside a home in the West Fulton area. On arrival investigators found the body of Laster. The investigation also indicated there was an exchange of gunfire following a confrontation between Laster and the two suspects near the intersection of South Sumter and West Fulton streets. An autopsy for Laster is scheduled for next week. |

The son of rapper DJ Quik, who works as a liaison to Compton City Councilman Isaac Galvan, has been arrested on suspicion of murder, according to police and media reports.
Police arrested David Blake Jr., 27, in Porter Ranch early Thursday. He was being held in the inmate reception center of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in lieu of $2-million bail, according to jail records. Blake was taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of 33-year-old Julio Cardoza in Downey, according to investigators. Officers responding to a report of a fight in progress in the 13200 block of Carfax Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday found Cardoza suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest, the Downey Police Department said in a news release. CAYCE, S.C. (WIS) - A woman is in jail after allegedly assaulting a special needs student in a classroom at Cayce Elementary School.
On Tuesday morning, a school resource officer was notified of an incident involving a staff member and a student that happened on May 20, according to Cayce Police Department officials.
Melanie Juliette Harris was arrested Wednesday after an investigation. Harris is charged with 2nd-degree assault, kidnapping and unlawful conduct towards a minor. No information has been released on the studentโs condition or any injuries. Lexington Two issued a statement in response to the incident, โOn May 24, we notified the Cayce Police Department of an incident involving an interaction between a teacherโs assistant and a student in a classroom at Cayce Elementary School. The District suspended the employee on the same day the incident occurred, and the employee was subsequently terminated on May 24. While Lexington Two is unable to comment on the specifics of the incident, the District is committed to ensuring the personal safety of all students. A South Carolina magistrate judge whose ex-sheriff husband faces time federal prison has been suspended for a second time after admitting to misconduct in office, the S.C. Supreme Court ordered.
Chester County Magistrate Angel Catina Underwood admitted the allegations and accepted a six-month suspension, states a written order released Wednesday by the S.C. Supreme Court. Underwoodโs husband is former Chester County Sheriff Alex Underwood. The former sheriff was suspended from his job in 2019 and faces up to four years in federal prison after a jury convicted him of corruption charges in 2021. The parents of an (illigitimate mixed-race) 1-year-old have been indicted on attempted murder and arson charges for trying to set fire to their baby, authorities said. Jamie Avery, 28, and Lisbeth Collado, 25, face multiple counts after Seneca County Sheriff's deputies in upstate New York responded earlier this month to reports of several fires at a truck stop, the sheriff's office said this week. The couple were indicted by a Seneca County grand jury on felony charges of attempted aggravated murder, second-degree attempted murder, second-degree arson, second-degree attempted arson and first-degree attempted assault, the sheriff's office said. The suspects were also charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Investigators said they found the mother and father, who is a truck driver, at Love's Travel Plaza in the town of Tyre. The couple was trying to set fire to the baby, who was doused in a flammable liquid, deputies said. LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The man who shot and killed a teenager at Fayette Mall two years ago has been sentenced.
Xavier Hardin was sentenced to a total of 22 years Thursday.
Hardin pleaded guilty to multiple charges including first-degree manslaughter. He shot and killed 17-year-old Kenneth Bottoms Jr. in August 2020. Two other people were hurt in that shooting. We sat down with Kennethโs family ahead of the sentencing. With the recent record-breaking homicides in Lexington, Bottomsโ father believes suspects behind these shootings donโt serve enough time. โIt doesnโt work for us minorities the way it should, you know, it just doesnโt,โ said Kenneth Bottoms Sr. โEvery day I see a shooting and I know itโs not going to be enough time for these people to do. GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WDVM) โ A 30-year-old woman was arrested on Wednesday after a 2021 impaired driving crash that led to the death of her 9-month-old infant in Anne Arundel County.
A grand jury indicted 30-year-old Talaya C. Martin of Severn, Md. on Wednesday for the crash that took place on April 4, 2021.

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - MAY 25, 2022 UPDATE: The man convicted of shooting and killing his girlfriend at a motel in Reno in 2020 has been sentenced to life in prison.
Lamar Andre Adams, 49, of Richmond, Calif. pled guilty in March 2022 to one count of First-Degree Murder with the Use of a Deadly Weapon and one count of Child Endangerment with the Use of a Deadly Weapon. He was sentenced Tuesday, May 17, 2022. The May 13 shooting at La Quinta Inn on Market Street resulted in the death of 42-year-old Lynette Lozano. Adams was identified as the suspect and was eventually found driving a stolen vehicle in the Reno area and was arrested. Adams reportedly admitted to shooting Lozano with an AR-style pistol. Investigators said after the shooting, Adams drove to Sacramento, hid the pistol in a field, then returned to Reno in the stolen vehicle. Investigators said evidence showed Lozano was reading a book when she was killed. They said her two small children were inside the motel room when the shooting occurred. Her 7-year-old suffered a small burn on his lower back after being struck by an ejected cartridge case during the shooting. The district attorneyโs office also said the 5-year-old told detectives that he โlaid there and pretended to be dead so he wouldnโt do nothing to me.โ At sentencing, Assistant District Attorney Zach Young pointed out that Adams discharged his firearm 23 times in the small motel room, and then left the area, leaving Lozanoโs two young children to find her killed. A good Samaritan who was staying in the room next door comforted the children until RPD and paramedics arrived, the district attorneyโs office said. Adams will be eligible for parole after 32 years and 8 months has been served. |

SAGINAW, MI โ A Saginaw man accused of accidentally shooting his friend to death has accepted a plea deal.
Harold C. Lawson, 34, on Wednesday, April 20, appeared before Saginaw County Circuit Judge Janet M. Boes and pleaded no contest to the lone count he faced โ careless use of a firearm causing death. The charge is a high-court misdemeanor punishable by up to two yearsโ incarceration.
In an earlier Cobbs hearing, Boes indicated she would not give Lawson additional time behind bars at sentencing. A Cobbs hearing sees a judge outline the likely sentence should a defendant be convicted. In pleading no contest rather than guilty, Lawson did not admit to having committed a crime. Lawson pleaded as such for reasons of civil liability. Boes relied on documents to enter a conviction on the record. Lawsonโs conviction stems from the 2020 death of 25-year-old Maurice T. Williams III. In the early morning hours of Oct. 6, Lawson, Williams, and a 28-year-old man were behind Baker Auto Parts, 2401 E. Holland Ave., shooting guns for target practice, police have said. One of the three worked at the business. Police officers happened to be at a nearby gas station and heard the gunshots. They responded to the area, but by then the trio had entered the business, turned off the lights, and locked the doors, Saginaw Police Detective Sgt. Matt Gerow has said. The officers searched the surrounding area but did not find anything. They did not know the three men had gone inside Bakerโs, Gerow has said. A few hours later, a gunshot went off in the building, its projectile striking Williams, Gerow has said. Lawson and/or the other man called 911 at 4:07 a.m. to report their friend was having a medical emergency. Officers arrived and began life-saving efforts on Williams, police have said. Williams was taken by a Mobile Medical Response ambulance to Ascension St. Maryโs hospital where he died of his wound. Derrick Coles, 32, is charged with injury to a child causing serious bodily injury.
The charge stems from when Colesโ son, 12-year-old Danilo, was found unresponsive in their apartment back in February. Coles and 27-year-old Kapri Cheatom are accused of beating Danilo, as well as forcing him to do push-ups and hold 50-pound boxes for hours. Colesโ bond stipulates no contact with minors or possession of firearms. He must also wear a GPS monitor. Cheatom was released earlier this month because she was not indicted within 90 days of her arrest as required by state law. |

HOUSTON โ A Houston man who was caught on camera robbing his roommate earlier this month has been arrested, according to police.
Harris County Jail records show that Joshua N. DeLoach, 29, was booked on Thursday and charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and aggravated kidnapping.
DeLoach had been wanted for the incident that took place inside an apartment on May 8. Police released a video from inside the apartment that they say shows DeLoach confronting his roommate with a gun and telling him to get on his knees. The victim, Justin C. Iwuji, 31, told police that after he asked DeLoach to move out of his apartment in the 300 block of Eado Park Circle, DeLoach pointed a gun at him and forced him to open his personal safe. The Sparks Police Department says officers were called to the Park Vista Apartments just after midnight Tuesday, May 17 after someone reported being shot at multiple times. Officers tracked down the suspect, identified as Gregory Williams, who tried to run from officers. He was eventually caught and police said they found evidence linking him to the shooting. HOUSTON, TEXAS: A woman and her boyfriend were charged with murder after they were suspected of beating and starving their twin daughters, one of whom died. Soledad Mendoza and Ruben "Alex" Moreno, both 29, are accused of murdering Melanie Mendoza, 8, and inflicting pain on her sister at their home in Houston, Texas. According to court records obtained by Fox5, the children were subjected to a long list of alleged mistreatment, including untreated shattered bones and clinical evidence of hunger. When authorities inquired about her twin, the surviving twin girl allegedly answered, "My mom killed her."
According to the news station Fox5, Mendoza and Moreno were detained on Friday, May 20, following a lengthy investigation into Melanie Mendoza's death in a hospital on December 21, 2020. With multiple injuries, the twins were transferred to Memorial Hermann-Memorial City Center. Despite the fact that they were eight years old, each girl weighed less than 30 pounds and was still in their diapers. The medics then summoned the cops to do a welfare check. Authorities rescued the surviving twin, whose identity has not been revealed, and two other children, aged 7 and 12, from the family home and placed them in foster care. EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. (KOLO) - MAY 16: A man found guilty in the shooting death of a Northern California deputy will spend at least the next 15 years behind bars.
Juan Vasquez-Orozco, 22, shot and killed El Dorado County Deputy Brian Ishmael in October 2019.
Along with the Second Degree Murder conviction, he was also convicted of two counts of assaults with a firearm, and three gun enhancement.
He was sentenced Friday, May 13, 2022 to 15 years to life in prison. Police arrested Andrew Abdullah, 25, Tuesday in connection to the shooting death of 46-year-old Daniel Enriquez, a Goldman Sachs employee, police officials confirm.
Enriquez was on the Q train near the Canal Street station when he was shot in the chest around 11:45 a.m. He later died at the hospital. Charges are pending. The Legal Aid Society, which is representing Abdullah, released a statement after he was taken into custody. "He is presumed innocent and entitled to counsel and a robust defense," according to the statement, NBC New York reported. "At this preliminary moment in the case, we caution New Yorkers from rushing to judgment, as we are just beginning our investigation and reviewing evidence. Mr. Abdullah deserves vigorous representation from his defense counsel and that is what The Legal Aid Society will provide." According to witness reports, the shooting happened "without provocation." The suspect had been walking back and forth in the subway car when he took out a gun and fired it at close range. As the train pulled into the station the suspect fled. Victor Rivera was sentenced to 27 months in prison by Manhattan federal Judge Sidney Stein on Monday for taking $1.2 million in kickbacks from contractors hired by his non-profit, the Bronx Parent Housing Network. Stein also ordered that Rivera pay $902,000 in restitution to his former non-profit. ATLANTA โ Deputies in Cherokee County are searching for a suspect in a double shooting that killed his ex-wife and injured her mother.
Christopher Thomas, 30, of Acworth, fled the scene, the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said. On Sunday night, deputies responded to a domestic violence call with reports of shots fired. The incident occurred on Autumn Brook Drive in Canton. Once on the scene, deputies found two people inside the home shot; 30-year-old Victoria Thomas, who was dead, and 60-year-old Myrna Garcia, who was severely injured. Deputies said Garcia was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital and is currently in critical condition. They also said the woman was holding her 4-month-old grandchild at the time she was shot. The baby was not injured, however, was transported to the hospital. Meanwhile, deputies said a 10-year-old, whose relation to the victims was not specified, was also in the home at the time of the shooting. They said that child was also not injured. Midland County officials have released the probable cause affidavit for the parents charged in connection to the infant who died.
The affidavit says that a detective was called to Midland Memoria Hospital back on May 11 for a one-month-old baby with a brain bleed and multiple skull fractures. That Detective spoke with Sarah Gilley-Wroe, the childโs mother, who said โa few days ago, which later turned into a week or two ago, their dog jumped on the baby.โ It turns out that the dog was a 30-pound Mastiff/lab mix. Wroe also said that the dog had put his paw on the babyโs head. The affidavit says โthere was no other explanation for the child to have left and right parietal bone fractures and multifocal intracranial bleeding likely epidural hematoma of the left frontal hemispheric convexity.โ The Detective then spoke with Byron Brown, the infantโs father, who said that he left their apartment to search for a new apartment. When Brown was done looking at apartments, he called Wroe to check in on her. The affidavit says that Wroe did not answer the phone. She then returned the call moments later and said that something was wrong with the baby and was not breathing right. The document says that Byron rushed home and they called 911. Byron told the Detective that EMS said there was nothing wrong with the infant and left. EMS was later called back because the child was unresponsive and not breathing, according to the affidavit. The infant died hours later in the hospital. |

According to a police affidavit, Williams was involved in a verbal confrontation with another unidentified male. In the affidavit, Williams told police he and the male pulled out firearms during the confrontation. According to Williams, the unidentified male pulled the weapon from his waistband while Williams retrieved his AR-15 from a nearby vehicle. Both people fired their weapons, according to Williams' testimony to police. The result of the shooting wounded two people, including a 15-year-old who died as a result of their wounds late Friday night. |

A criminal complaint states a Minnesota State Patrol trooper was at the scene of a rollover crash on Interstate 35 in Rice County Sunday night when he saw a car drive past โand come within inches of hitting his squad.โ The driver continued on, and the trooper said he saw the driver hit two tow truck employees who were clearing the rollover crash. Both men were hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening. The driver did not stop after hitting the men, according to the complaint, and left debris from the vehicle at the scene. The trooper identified the car as a Lincoln MKZ based on his squad carโs video. On Monday night, a man called dispatch to report his son โ Fleming โ was the driver who hit the tow truck operators. A longtime World Health Organization (WHO) infectious disease expert said the recent outbreaks of monkeypox may be explained by sexual transmission from two recent raves in Europe.

Authorities arrest murder suspect after armed robbery kills 2 people
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Officials with the North Charleston Police Department have arrested a murder suspect who they say was involved in an armed robbery that killed two people.
The US Marshals Task Force arrested 18-year-old Rito Remerio Singleton Jr. on charges of murder and possession of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime. The AFRICAN-merican suspect killed 16-year-old KayโSean Jones and 19-year-old Elijah Jefferson. On April 24, police responded to Bailey Drive and found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Jones was pronounced deceased at the scene while Jefferson was transported to the hospital and later succumbed to his injuries. According to North Charleston police officials, it was determined that Singleton along with Jefferson were armed and attempted to rob and assault Jones when a struggle ensued. A report states during the struggle both Jefferson and Jones were shot. |

James pleaded not guilty Monday in court. โWhat would compel a mother to do that,โ said Dariah Williams, the children's half-sister. Their father, Darryl Williams, raised Dariah in Cincinnati. Williams moved away from Lexington almost four years ago and said ever since then, it's been nothing short of a fight to see his children. stabbed a woman in front of her three children in the parking lot of the Save A Lot in Wilkes-Barre and left the children unattended as she stole the victimโs car.
Police have charged 33-year-old Natasha Watson with multiple counts of aggravated assault, robbery of a motor vehicle, and fleeing from officers after an incident that happened Thursday afternoon. Police responded to the Save A Lot on South Main Street in Wilkes-Barre for reports of a stabbing on Thursday afternoon just after 1:00. Upon arrival, police identified a victim with multiple stab wounds to her shoulder. Police say the victim told them that as she was putting groceries in her car, Watson approached her, asking for directions. The victim said she gave directions to Watson who then got a โcrazy look in her eyesโ and began to stab the victim, according to court paperwork. Officials say that this incident took place in front of Watsonโs three children, who during the attack were yelling โplease stop.โ Watson grabbed the victimโs car keys, which the victim was able to get back but Watson became angered with this and stabbed her several more times, police say. Watson did get the keys from the victim and police say she then jumped in the car. Authorities say Watson was trying to get the children in the car when she heard the police sirens and took off, leaving the children at the crime scene. Police say they tried to stop Watson and a short chase ensued, but it was called off. Moments later, Watson hit another driver and then crashed into a tree near the McDonaldโs on River Street in Plains Township, the affidavit states. The victim was taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley where it was found that as a result of the stabbings, one of her lungs collapsed. The victim also told officers that she has never met or seen Watson before this attack. Watson was taken to Geisinger South for a blood test but refused. |

DALZELL, S.C. (WIS) -A mother and daughter in Sumter County are facing charges after investigators say they assaulted three children on school grounds.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at Ebenezer Middle School.
32-year-old Whitley Smith and 67-year-old Mamie Smith were both arrested and charged with assault by mob 3rd degree and disturbing schools. โThis type of behavior is criminal and should never be considered as the appropriate way to deal with matters,โ Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis said. According to the Sumter County Sheriffโs Office, the suspects gained entry into the school under false pretenses. They buzzed the front door for entry and told staff they had to go to the attendance office. Once they got inside, the suspects ran down the hallway and confronted several students. The Sheriffโs Office said the Smiths pushed a student against a wall and began hitting her and scratching her in the head and face. Two other students were pushed and hit. Investigators say that the suspects believed one of their relatives was being bullied, but that they attacked the wrong students. |

The charges stem from a shooting on April 26 where officers responded to the 3,000 block of Vinewood Drive to investigate a report of shots being fired. Police say Gustavao followed a vehicle out of Generation X and fired into a vehicle occupied by the victim. Jacobs said Gustavao was arrested Monday. He was being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center pending a bond hearing. |

Camden County police responded to 235 Eutaw Street in Camden on Thursday, where they found Carr suffering from a gunshot wound and a 61-year-old man who had been assaulted.
Carr was transported to Cooper University Hospital and pronounced dead at 12:02 p.m. Fletcher is currently being held at the Camden County Correctional Facility. Hispanic suspect connected to Remains of missing Colorado woman found 4 years later 
DENVER (AP) โ Recently found human remains were confirmed this week to be those of a woman who disappeared after going out with friends and cousins four years ago, authorities said.

An EMT was shot in an ambulance by an intoxicated man being transported to a Staten Island hospital on Wednesday night โ and a retired NYPD detective helped apprehend the suspect, police said.
The wild chain of events began after EMTs from Richmond University Medical Center picked up the patient from in front of the Funkey Monkey Lounge on Forest Avenue and Llewellyn Place at about 7:40 p.m., police said. Calls made to 911 reported the man, identified by police as 37-year-old Thomas McCauley, to be drunk and disorderly at the time, sources said. Responding EMTs placed the man in the back of the ambulance and proceeded towards the hospital. About a mile into the transport, McCauley allegedly pulled a gun out of his waistband and fired a shot, striking a 25-year-old male EMT, Richard McMahon, in the shoulder, NYPD Inspector Mark Molinari said at a Wednesday night press conference. The ambulance driver immediately pulled over around 646 Forest Avenue. The perpetrator then fled out the back of the ambulance on foot before he was apprehended with the help of a retired NYPD detective and an off-duty Department of Sanitation lieutenant, Molinari said. The wounded EMT was transported by the ambulance driver to RUMC hospital in stable condition. A .38 caliber revolver was recovered at the scene. McCauley was also allegedly in possession of a knife and mace, according to police. McCauley was known to police for a prior call of an emotionally disturbed person, Molinari told reporters. PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Philadelphia pastor is behind bars in Montgomery County after being charged with sexually assaulting children in several incidents going back several decades.
Mark Hatcher, 59, is facing a slew of sexual assault charges including rape, statutory sexual assault and corruption of a minor, according to court documents. Hatcher has been a Pastor of Holy Ghost Headquarters located along North Broad Street in North Philadelphia since the 1980s, according to his bio on their website. Video from HGH's Facebook page shows him speaking during last Sunday's service. According to court documents, three victims came forward accusing Hatcher of incidents dating back to 2000. The criminal complaint states that back in January, two relatives of Hatcher told Whitpain Township Police that he sexually abused them at a house he owns in Blue Bell. One victim told police that Hatcher sexually assaulted him at least five times, which started when he was six years old. Documents state the other victim told police that Hatcher sexually assaulted her and exposed himself to her when she was 15 years old. The third victim initially reported Hatcher in November of 2008 to Philadelphia police. According to the criminal complaint, she said the sexual assault happened inside a Philadelphia home. An MS-13 gang member pleaded guilty Tuesday to murdering three men on Long Island โ including one he lured to a baseball field before savagely beating and stabbing him to death.
Jhonny Contreras, 28, now faces a life sentence in connection to the slayings, which took place in 2013 and 2015 with Contreras believing his victims were members of rival gangs, federal prosecutors said. Contreras admitted that he and other members of the bloodthirsty gang murdered two men โ Keenan Russell and Derrick Mayes โ in 2013, thinking they were both Bloods gang members. According to Contreras, he and another MS-13 member armed themselves with a .25 caliber handgun and 20-gauge shotgun and used a stolen minivan โ which was later wiped down and torched โ to drive around and look for rival gang members to kill. He also copped to his involvement in the 2015 killing of Cesar Rivera-Vasquez, whom he lured to a baseball field under the pretense of smoking marijuana. The arraignment of former linebacker Isimemen David Etute was held ahead of a trial scheduled to start May 25 in Montgomery County Circuit Court, The Roanoke Times reported. Etute is accused in the death of Jerry Smith, 40 in May 2021. Etute said he visited Smithโs apartment that April after he was matched with someone named โAngieโ on Tinder, and returned on May 31 to determine whether his match was male or female, attorneys and witnesses said at earlier hearings. A detective testified that Etute groped Smith and used his phoneโs flashlight to get a better look in the dark apartment before repeatedly punching the victim, according to court records. The medical examinerโs office revealed that Smith died from blunt force trauma to the head. Etute was released on $75,000 last June and has been under house arrest and electronic monitoring while living with his family in Virginia Beach. AFRICAN Monkeypox cases investigated in Europe, US, Canada and Australia
Cases of Monkeypox are being investigated in European countries as well as the US, Canada and Australia, according to health authorities and local media reports.
The latest new cases were reported in France, Italy, Sweden and Australia.
It follows the confirmation of cases in the US, Spain and Portugal on Wednesday, as well as the investigation of 13 suspected cases in Canada. Monkeypox is most common in remote parts of Central and West Africa. Cases of the disease outside of the region are often linked to travel to the area. Monkeypox is a rare viral infection which is usually mild and from which most people recover in a few weeks, according to the UK's National Health Service. A grand jury on May 17, indicted Quandaryus House on a count of first-degree murder.

On Jan. 15, at approximately 12:30 AM, House and a woman drove to a Dixie Queen, which is in the 1100 block of South Bellevue Boulevard. After placing an order at the speaker box, the couple moved up to the drive-through window where they tried to change their order and began arguing with an employee, 18-year-old Maresha Williams, the DA said. The two eventually got their food and left. House and the woman returned a short time later, with House in the driverโs side back seat. The car pulled up to the drive-through window again and House began shooting into the store, the DA said. Asian California Church Shooter IDโd as Las Vegas Senior Citizen
The man accused of shooting up a California church before he was tackled and hog-tied by congregants was identified Monday as 68-year-old David W. Chou of Las Vegas.
Chou was booked on one felony count of murder and five felony counts of attempted murder for the Sunday afternoon attack on a lunch banquet hosted by the Irvine Taiwanese Presbyterian Church inside the Geneva Presbyterian Church in Laguna Woods. |

(Black) Man arrested for allegedly shooting someone over missing tablet in South Memphis, MPD says
A man was arrested for firing shots, over a missing tablet.
On Jul. 18, 2021, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to an aggravated assault call in the 200 block of West Waldorf Avenue.
The caller, Labarbara Hill, told police that she was visiting her grandmotherโs house and her daughter was playing with a tablet. Hill after leaving the residence, received a phone call that the tablet is missing, according to an affidavit. A verbal argument started over the missing tablet. When Hill returned back to the residence, a man, later identified as Teveyon Vaughn, walked outside and fired multiple shots through the front windshield, police said. Hill stepped out of the vehicle and questioned the shooter, โyou shot me over a tablet?โ. Vaughn answered with, โDonโt play with my mommaโ, according to an affidavit. The shooting victim was taken by private vehicle to an MFD fire station, then later sent to The Med in critical condition. Hill positively identified Vaughn in a six-person lineup. Teveyon Vaughn has been charged with attempt 1st-degree murder, and employing a firearm during commission to commit a dangerous felony. |

A sicko straphanger is wanted for sexually abusing a 36-year-old woman aboard a 3 train in Manhattan in April, police said. The unknown suspect approached the unsuspecting woman on a moving southbound 3 train on April 29 shortly after 1 p.m., cops said. The twisted train passenger kissed his victim near her mouth and ear and then touched her inner thigh, grabbed her breast and genital area over her clothing, police said. The wanted individual stepped off the train at the Park Place station following the unprovoked attack, authorities said. The shaken victim was not injured in the sexual abuse incident.
